Their selection is pretty good, and the prices may be a little bit higher, but understood as they're carrying local inventory and costs. I've given them several tries to buy local, and every time I go in the staff seems off putt and doesn't really care that you're even there. I not only saw that when I was in there, but the individual checking out before me as well. I will not patronize this place again, too bad. read more

Above average selection of cigars in a walk-in humidor, but the obnoxious prices of the cigars and the attitude of the two guys at the register warrant this review getting its two stars. I'd only go back if I needed a cigar ASAP to celebrate the demise of a rival or my first ménage with two members of a traveling cheerleading squad. Other than that, I'll pass. read more

Great humidor. Large selection of cigars. Great people. Fair pricing. Excellent service. Highly recommended read more

They had a great selection of cigars but not so much for pipes. I think they were overpriced on the pipe tobacco. I did not feel welcomed and they were not very friendly. I don't think I would go back. read more

Edwards Pipe & Cigar - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Fort Collins, Colorado

Service is always great. Selection is always huge. Value is great with a membership. It's cheaper to buy cigars from Edward's than ordering online in Colorado. Good people and great atmosphere. Also, they do events and I won 9 sticks of My Father event cigars. read more

Fantastic humidor selection. Best I have found in NoCo. A little pricey but hey, the Colorado taxes alone are enough to make one reconsider any tobacco purchase. I don't mind paying a couple of dollars more per stick when selection and condition are warranted. Highly recommended. read more

Edwards Pipe & Cigar - smoke'em if you got 'em !! - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Fort Collins, Colorado

Great selection, service and atmosphere. The owner and hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. The regulars were cool as well.

Awesome staff! Great selection! Treated a NoCo visitor very well. Spent an hour in the lounge with a Verboten Octoberfest beer from the brewery next door! Paired extremely well with a My Father cigar. read more

The minute I stepped in the store I was made to feel unwelcome by the staff. My wife went in with me and when she asked questions the guy at the register was downright rude. I would suggest going elsewhere if you value service. Pipe selection was minimal and several were out of stock. Tobacco was overpriced. Really uncomfortable experience overall. read more

Hard to find cigars in this town and this place had many to choose from and was a proper lounge but didn't have time for but next time I'll make some time. read more

My new home away from home. Edwards not only has a killer selection but is full of Fort Collins nicest people from Tony the owner on down. When my mind is in a whirl I can go there and hash it out in thoughtful conversation. Most relaxing spot in town read more

You know, for my being a pretty knowledgeable cigar smoker, this guy was really good at being a butthead and talking down to me. Just because I ask for help finding something or if you carry something doesn't mean I'm a fool, just that it's my first (and last) time in your shop. Also, how am I supposed to know in 2019 that I am to remember and bring you the price on items with a barcode? Places and attitudes like guy are dying out because it discourages new cigar fans. This is the cigar culture I refuse to be a part of, and I'm happy to help and educate any fellow fan if there's something they don't know that I might. Two stars for decent selection and prices. read more

These guys are amazing! Helpful and relaxed- don't just go to shop. Stay and chill in the amazing lounge and enjoy the experience

Solid environment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall great cigar spot to visit.

Always friendly and accommodating. Nice place to relax and enjoy a smoke when visiting Ft. Collins.

I was never someone who wanted to smoke but in 2012 I really am convinced that I am going through a mid life crisis. There are many things that I want to try and have not and have a strong curiosity about them. Ironically enough in 2012 Colorado seemed to have gone through a crisis as well just as my midlife one became identifiable. There were a number of severely damaging wild fires in the state. Fort Collins had its share of fire with the Hewlett Fire earlier in the summer and the very damaging High Park Fire that came later. My curiosity with experimenting with cigars, cigarettes, pipes and hookah did indeed get a bit dimmed when these fires were going on because the streets were lined with smoke and residents were encouraged to stay indoors. Yet my curiosity with experimenting remained. I knew about Edward's for a while since there are a few restaurants I like nearby. I had a heck of a time trying to find pipe tobacco for my new pipe and decided to come here. The selection for pipe tobacco is impressive and tastes good but (Oh wow) what a selection of cigars! Being such a novice with any of this I felt very overwhelmed but extremely impressed on the selection of cigars they had here. They also had a lounge that connected to the store so you could go in and relax. Really a nice set up! The guy that ran the place was nice and eager to assist. I have not been to many smoke shops in town but I was very impressed with Edward's when it comes to pipes and cigars! read more

Edward's is an amazing place to get away from the world. The humidor selection is enough that you can always find something to match your palate. I've been smoking cigars for twenty years, and the staff always surprises me by finding something new that appeals to me. They have a lounge where one can find someone to talk to, or if you want to sit and read, plenty of room for that. They also have a member's only lounge downstairs with pool table, poker table, and a great setup for watching movies/sporting events, etc. The cigar and pipe tobacco selection is fantastic. The staff's knowledge and ability to pair you with something you like is top notch. By far, it is the best cigar lounge to go to in Northern Colorado. read more

I used to like this place but ever since ownership changed hands in early 2018 it sucks. The atmosphere that I used to enjoy is gone and the general feeling of the shop is that it exists strictly to separate you from your cash. The camaraderie of a good shop is gone. The new owner doesn't have a clue. I could go on and on. I will never go back. Keep away because this shop is crap. read more

The man in charge helped me find the right cigar gifts for my husband and his friends to celebrate a special occasion. They all loved them, so the shop steered me well. They have a full separate humidified cigar room and a nice selection. He told me how to store and "care for" my gifts. read more

From the Outside, Edwards Pipe and Cigar looks like a Cheesy strip mall where you might go to get your teeth drilled, or pick up a Slurpee. But looks can be deceiving. The inside of Edwards Pipe and Cigar is a Cigar lovers Paradise. There is a humidor big enough to drive a truck through, and a beautiful smoking area that offers the Cigar lover a wonderful place to relax and not be harassed by the anti tobacco militia. They had an extensive library of Old Cigar Aficionado Magazines for sale and a great selection of lighters and cutters. The only bad thing is the 40% tobacco tax that they good people of Colorado saw fit to levy on us Cigar lovers. But to be honest, even with the Steep Sin tax, the prices were pretty competitive with what I pay in Downtown Chicago. I only wish that I had the time to light one up and chit chat with the locals. The shop was wonderful, and I'm sure that I will stop in at least one more time before heading back to reality in Chicago. read more

Running low on sticks during my trip so I googled and found this spot close by. A small shop with a small humidor and it looked like a big lounge to relax in. So when you go in the humidor (door is left open) you write down the sku # and take you stick to the register. Prices in Colorado are a little higher than I normally pay, taxes I guess. I decided to light one up and it seems a little drier than I get back home, maybe because the door is open. One good thing is I didn't get followed around the humidor. But I would find another place, maybe try Denver. read more

This place sucks. Apparently they are broke and have to try to charge you just to walk in the door. I'm a member at two cigar shops in Denver where I live and I've never been treated so poorly in the ten years I've been smoking cigars. You have to pay five dollars just to smoke a fifteen dollar cigar in the lounge so now your cigar is twenty bucks. Or, you have to buy fifty dollars worth of cigars to smoke one for free. Also, the cigars here are about a dollar-fifty more than they are at my shop in Denver. I will never buy anything here. read more

Paul is always helpful and there's usually a great selection of cigars!

This is THE best tobacconist in Fort Collins. I have been going here for around a year now. I bought my first pipe at this store and have continued to buy cigars and my pipe tobacco here ever since. Great place, I definitely recommend it! read more

We were in town for a meeting. I called the shop 5 minutes before they closed and we were 15 minutes away. Paul at the shop said, "I'll wait until you get here!" And he did. Great shop! Great people! Great atmosphere! read more

You would have a hard time finding a better smoke shop in Northern Colorado. Paul and Jim really know their stuff and the selection is ridiculous, a perfect mix of big names and boutique smokes. Great coffee great Cigars what more could a growing boy want! read more

in my opinion... this is the only place in fort Collins to get a decent cigar. I mean, other places have a decent selection, with my favorite (Rocky Patel). but none keep as good of care as they do. I am from Illinois, the humidity is very conducive to keeping a good cigar, everywhere out here that I have experimented with buying cigars has been, in the best case scenario, not good, I finally stumbles upon this place and am very grateful, finally, a cigar I can smoke!!! read more

Very helpful and knowledgeable able to help me find a cigar that fit my mood. Will definitely consider a membership.

This is the cigar shop in Fort Collins, the lounge is really nice and is a great place to when the temperatures drop in the winter. I have been a loyal patron of 2 years and I respect the owners and the way the shop is run. Yes some times they run low on inventory, but that is the nature of the beast. I would go no where to buy my cigars. read more

I used to be a big fan of this shop until I met the owner. I had been a customer for almost 5 years. He was very rude and his customer service was abysmal. I consider myself an experienced smoker and he treated myself and my friend like some scummy kids (we are in our 30's). Besides all of that, prices are almost double any big city shop or online. Also, he is often out of popular mainstream cigars such as carlos torano's 1959's, assorted acids, and has a piss poor selection of caos. If you are like me and demand respect when buying from any store stay far away!!! Buyer beware!! I'll gladly pay double to be treated with respect, not spat on by some cocky old man. As a CSU alum, I recommend all Ram's steer clear!! read more

this store had empty spaces on their shelves. The cigars are overpriced. Anyone going into the store would only buy one or two cigars. The clerk was not helpful. She had no knowledge of their inventory. Overall a bad experience. read more

I've smoked cigars for a few years now and I've been to many shops around the country. At every one of those shops, you can buy a cigar and then sit down and smoke it at the shop. For free. That's every one of the shops I've been to but Edward's Pipe & Cigar in Fort Collins. I recently went into Edward's for the first time and bought a $10 Perdomo and fully expected to sit in their lounge for an hour, watch TV and have a stick. But when I paid for the cigar I was told it's an additional $5 to sit in the lounge and smoke. What an absolute rip off. Edward's could earn a lot of biz by allowing customers who buy a stick to smoke it in their lounge free of charge. Instead, they're basically telling me, "Go buy your sticks elsewhere." So, I will. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the prices at Edward's. It's expensive and the selection sucks. But they did offer me a 'Cigar Club' membership for $30/month that would give me a discount on already overpriced boxes of cigars and would allow me to sit in their lounge and smoke at will. Really? $360 per year for a 'Cigar Club' membership? Really lame. I'll never buy at this dump again and I certainly won't recommend it to friends. read more

Great Humidor & selection. I mean nearly every major cigar maker known. Knowledgeable staff -if you have any idea what your tastes are they will help you find a stick to match it. Espresso in the back room that is excellent and an unbelievably cool clientele. Yes there is a lounge fee, but it's reasonable as you have to pay for the brick and mortar. Otherwise I could just buy at CI and sit in my garage....yikes ! Also, if the regulars are around I suspect you will enjoy the conversation. read more
