Woo! In my visit to the Tri-Cities, 'The Pub' hosted my favorite night out! Woo! It was memorial day weekend (Sunday) and my friend who's a local, told me about a 90's night they were having there because of the holiday. I was like sure! It sounded great! Me and some other friends showed up and it was PACKED! The parking lot and the inside. We got lucky cause some other friends were there before us and they actually held a table with enough seats (there was going to be about 10 of us) and we had a place to sit. Coming in, they had a small dance floor, a DJ, and a table full of older looking 90's games! Sorry, Rubiks cube, Uno... a bunch of stuff! :D The line for the bar was pretty long, and it didn't help that the workers were going a little slow... I don't know, maybe they were understaffed or something, but the line took forever. Whatever, I made sure I ordered enough drinks to get me going for the night, I picked up Uno from the front table, and got a game going with my friends while we drank and waited for the rest of my buddies to show up. They announced a Karaoke contest and everyone told me to sign up so I said sure! The DJ was really good. Playing mostly 90's or early 2000's music for the theme. I ended up getting 2nd place for the contest :( But I still had the best time out, in Kennewick, here. I loved it. I couldn't comment on their mixed drinks and their food as I didn't order either but the vibes were all there and it was honestly a night to remember (or what I CAN remember) haha. Kicked out early. I understand they want to get home They've probably worked a long shift, you can't cut us off early and then cut off our music we put in. I stopped putting in music far before 1:45 (the bar says it's open until 2) and I mentioned this and was just told To contact the manager in the morning. Poor service and poor communication. Also couldn't start a tab? Needs to be fixed if you're going to close at 1:30 you set the hours to 130. read more

I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but if this helps someone avoid the experience we had, it's worth it. We arrived around 11:45 AM. By noon, I had to get up myself to grab menus. A couple of minutes later, someone took our drink order, and we got our drinks after another 5-6 minutes. We then ordered burgers and chili. 40 minutes later--yes, 40 minutes--we finally received our food. In all that time, no one checked in or offered drink refills. After finishing our meal, we waited another 10-15 minutes with no sign of our server. We eventually had to stand up just to get someone's attention so we could leave. Maybe it was just an off day, but based on this experience, I'd have a really hard time coming back. If I could leave less than one star I would have. read more

As others have noted in reviews, the service is poor, or nonexistent most of the time--maybe 85%. I don't usually post on sites like this, but I also saw a review where someone mentioned theft. Two weeks ago, I ordered a beer and was told the price verbally. I paid in cash, but I didn't get the correct change back--only bills. When I asked about the rest, the bartender said they don't give exact change. In other words, they stole about 70 cents. I wasn't too concerned until I read someone else's comment about a possible issue involving a credit card. If they're skimming change from every cash customer, that's basically an automatic "tip" built into every transaction. Unfortunately, they don't have much competition on the west side of Kennewick--especially for a place with pool tables and a layout that encourages you to move around. The free peanuts and popcorn are a nice touch, though. In summary, food is bar food, ambiance is ok, service is a zero and you need to watch out for being skimmed/scammed out of $. read more

Service is the absolute worst!! The GIRLS at the bar, what a JOKE! Should be called JOKERS2. Took over 45 minutes to get a drink. Make sure you know what to order, cuz excuse me for not knowing my alcohol! That's why I THOUGHT you could ask the BARTENDER!! LMAO. I would love to see some middle aged women hired on. DON'T waste you time or money. I have tried several times to like this place. Every time I am left leaving unimpressed. Uncalled for beyond rude bouncer guy and service is so slow. A lot of people stopped going there because of these same reasons. They need to hire better employees then maybe they might see their sales go up. Again- don't waste your time going here. read more

I've heard good reviews and I've been out to it in the past but I haven't been there in the last 15 years but the last time I was there they had a pleasant smell on the bar that was very greeting I brought you into the bar with that smell and aroma of pleasantness it gives you a sense of euphoria before you're sitting down and the staff is very pleasant and respectful! I always think business is owned by a woman or also very clean and respectable inside the bathroom and business this business is no exception,very clean place good place to get a snack especially if you're interested in just going to delicious meal that you can enjoy that's nice meeting a nice companion in the bar! You have to wave down your waitress the water is very bad it may be the water lines, even the soda pop has the same bad taste as the water one of our orders was wrong and had to wait along time to get the right one it was very bad service. read more

This had been our go-to neighborhood pub for several decades. Something has changed dramatically about this place. Constant server turn over. The ones that are there are apathetic at best. The pull tabs, wide variety of taps and fun crowd vibe is all gone. At any given time, there might be 12 total people (including staff)in the whole place so it feels deserted. But that doesn't mean you'll get better service. This place is huge and convenient but for some reason, the business owner appears to have given up. We went in for a beer and tacos. The credit card machine wasn't working by the time we were ready to pay. The server told us "so you're going to have to buy another beer or pay cash or wait" It's like we were irritating them asking if the machine was working after waiting another 10 mins. The wait staff is a hit or miss. Sometimes we "pray" to NOT have a particular waitress because she's terrible.

We've been there many times and when Ashley is working, service is horrible she looks stoned most of the time not to mention she's in there vaping behind the bar, which I think is horrible and should not be allowed. We gave it another shot last week. We had a different waitress. She was awesome But we've been in there when Ashley's on duty and she don't even come to our table and service us or acknowledge us. She's too busy visiting and flirting with the clientele at the bar. read more

A friend & I got drinks & the bartendress made a comment about how she could tell we were drunk by our eyes (we had both only had a beer before arriving). She recommended water to go along with the drink we ordered. We played along & got the water along with the drinks we ordered. My friend (a woman) complemented the bartendress on her makeup to try to diffuse the situation. We got our drinks & sat down. A bit later, the security man came to us & said that the bartendress said that my friend (the lady I was with) was too drunk & needed to be kicked out. She was literally stone cold sober. We've been in the Tri-cities area for a month and this is by far the worst service we've received anywhere ... I mean anywhere!!! The place has a decent venue but was not busy. We went for early' ish dinner (6pm) and could not get anyone to even acknowledge us. So I went to the bar to get a couple beers and was ignored by the bar tender (I use that term loosely). I can't figure it out. But if you're in the area DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. There are too many other places to go that serve beer and fried stuff. Not sure how they have a higher rating ... we went to the Pub on Clearwater in Kennewick for the first time to meet friends and learn how to play shuffleboard. it is a large spacious building with plenty of options for entertainment. our friends had their drinks and their food was on the way. A server came over to take our order and we asked lots of questions regarding specific beer, for my husband and I wanted a glass of wine. the beer was easily answered but not so much the wine. my friend and I went to the bar to see what they actually had. unfortunately (here in heart of wine land) all the wines were on the lower quality scale and I didn't want any of them, so I asked about Bourbon, as we walked toward other end of bar, our server must have made eye contact with the woman bartender ( possibly with a negative eye roll) which prompted her to ask in a very sarcastic tone, " what about Champagne ?" I stopped and said, Are you calling me a snob? she definitely was taken back but her answer was, again, sarcastic, Well I love Champagne. then quickly, said, I'd never call a customer a snob. I ended up with Makers Mark bourbon on the rocks, but didn't want to order food as I was suspicious it would get spit on or something. I definitely felt that both the server and bartender were being very pretensious. I'd like to go back with our friends as I enjoyed playing shuffleboard, but hopefully a different pair to order our drinks from. read more

I've been a patron for several years, and tried to support them through the shutdowns, eating outdoors, the whole thing. I've never thought their food or the service was the greatest but was fine and waitresses were nice. Liked to watch the games there. Went there with a friend last night and had the worst nachos ever and after a few bites we gave up trying to eat them. We had to fight to get it taken off the bill. All the while, they were blasting unintelligible music I had to shout so my friend could hear me. They turned it down a little for a few minutes at my request but then it went right back up. Looked like the bartender was having a good time listening to it. We were glad to get out of there and will not be going back. I just love the vibe they are cultivating here. Club bouncer, conspicuous club style security, eyerolling club wannabe waitresses wearing too much make up, surly tattooed female bartenders who can't be bothered to look up from the computer to acknowledge a customer with cash in hand, club style hand stamps with over the top ID checker, and exorbitant club prices..... Very disrespectful bar tender and manager at this establishment. They are bullies, liars, and don't know how to treat their customers. They also don't know how to admit when they make mistakes. I like peanuts. And this place gives them to you. FOR FREE!! They also have a really healthy appetizer called, "Fried Potato Chips" that I love to dip in ranch. Don't sue me. The only thing I disliked was that they had the radio blasting music, which is fine...but when I put in a bunch of songs in the jukebox, the radio did not shut off so I could hear the songs I paid for. ugh! read more

Some friends and I showed up for drinks on a semi-crowded Thursday night last month. Not only did we see cockroaches scurrying across the floor, the service was ABSOLUTELY HORRID. Don't be fooled by the positive ratings coming out of The Pub's employees, friends, and "regulars". This is one of the worst bars I've ever been to in my life. The bartenders were completely rude, unprofessional and clueless. The bouncers are wannabe toughguys that get way too aggressive way too fast. The overall vibe is not welcoming at all. I don't recommend this place to anyone for any reason at all, unless you like to be treated like crap and eat food that will make you sick. read more

Second time I've been here. I ordered the same thing, a Teriyaki burger. The first time was fine. This time, I wonder if they had a different cook. How do you screw a teriyaki burger up? They even forgot to put the Swiss cheese on it. At least there was only a little pink in the meat. Note: pink is great in a steak, but not in a burger. I don't know why. Just my opinion, I guess. First things, first. The Pub is a local bar, but the service is no different whether you're from here, or not (unless you're a regular, in which case, what bar doesn't take care of their regulars?). If you go up to the bar, it may take a little while to get served, but that's just because there seem to usually be only 1 or 2 bartenders at a time (and the price should make up for that). The flip side to this is that other people will come around to take your orders if you don't want to go to the bar. As for bar experience, this place has ambiance...or maybe that should be "pub-iance". It's great: you get free popcorn and peanuts (whose shell you toss on the floor), a pretty good number of beers on tap, a bunch of pool tables, some arcade games, and, here's the kicker...a FULL-LENGTH SHUFFLEBOARD TABLE! Unfortunately, I'm only back in the Tri-Cities a couple times a year, but when I am, my friends and I plant ourselves at the shuffleboard table when we come here. This place is especially busy around holidays, when everybody's back home from school or wherever they've gone, and it's like an impromptu reunion (especially Kamiakin, I've found). Some enjoy that, some may not. And the location is quite convenient--it's right across a parking lot from a Catholic church. Sinner. read more

The only redeeming quality of this place is that they have a pool table and table shuffleboard. Aside from that, don't bother coming to this pig pen! The place is a bar straight out of bar rescue!! When we ordered our drinks at the bar, a friend ordered a bloody mary, not only did the bartender pick the drink toppings with his bare fingers, he dropped an asparagus on the dirty bar counter and put it IN the drink and served it. Disgusting! On top of that, we ordered some top shelf alcohol but the prices weren't fair. We ordered a couple beers, club soda with Tito's and some shots but were charged over $60. I just needed to get something in my stomach so I could sleep for the night. The tacos were amazing. I don't know how bar tacos end up tasting so good, but they were better than "authentic" restaurant tacos. The sauces were also incredible. I'm guessing the chef is Mexican. But who reviews tacos at a bar? Very good beer selection on tap. I tried a Washington local brew. Prices are a bit high here - just a bit - but you get good quality. As others have said, it's a huge place. I was here on a Tuesday so it looked empty, but if they can fill up all that space on a weekend, I bet it's rocking. Thumbs up to whoever my bartender was, she was mixing multiple drinks at one with both hands. I enjoyed watching her go. My visit to this bar was on Sunday October 17, 2021. I chose to visit The Pub after learning they have the NFL Sunday Ticket package and I was looking forward to watching my NE Patriots play the Cowboys, as it wasn't being broadcasted on local TV. Our waitress, B.G., did a great job of serving us(which is why I had to bump up the overall experience to 2 Stars). Upon entering, I could count on one hand(not kidding) the amount of patrons who were in the bar at 1:15pm on an NFL Sunday. Very unusual for a bar with NFL Sunday Ticket, in my experience. Now, NFL Sunday Ticket(as I understand it) costs a bar about 7K dollars for an entire season. So, I was floored when my brother and I pulled up to the establishment, again at 1:15pm on this particular Sunday, to find very few cars in the parking lot. We walk in to the bar to find a generous amount of TVs to watch. However, the only football game being broadcast was on about 3 of the TVs located in the front room, which was on the local Fox or CBS affiliate. This bar has a total of at least 12 TVs overall(estimate). Not one other game was being broadcasted. Amazing waste of money for a bar that subscribes to NFL Sunday Ticket, imo. When the waitress came over to our table, we ordered a pitcher of beer, asked for menus and inquired if she could have the Pats/Cowboys game played on the TV closest to us. She took our request and came back shortly after stating that our game wouldn't be played until 4:25pm. I advised her that her time was incorrect because she was confusing Eastern Standard Time with Pacific Standard Time. She went back to the bartender with this new information, which appeared to visibly annoy the bartender. After getting the ugly eye briefly from the bartender, the bartender begrudgingly went into the back office and reappeared, shortly thereafter, with a remote control. As she starts looking for the game, we observe that the network she's attempting to find the game on is Dish Network. The problem is Dish Network doesn't have Sunday NFL Ticket. The rights belong to DIRECTV. We notify our waitress of this observation, who in turn tells the bartender. This seems to annoy the bartender that much more. While my brother and I sit patiently waiting for the bartender to figure it out, the guy at the next table leans over and says, "Good luck! It takes an act of God to get a TV changed to a person's request, here." After almost 10 minutes of watching the bartender fumble around with the remote, my brother proceeds to go over to assist the bartender in finding the game. Almost immediately, she tells my brother in a perturbed manner, "Yeah, we're working on it." My question is why isn't this place already set up with the games ready to go?? I mean the bar shells out a lot of money for the NFL Ticket and it's not a very common thing in bars around the area, as far as I can see. So, it would seem to me that a good amount of NFL fans would take advantage of this luxury. 10 minutes into the game, the bartender finally gets the broadcast up on 1 TV in the back room...1 TV. Now, 2 minutes before this happens, two people come in looking for the same game and they get seated at the table directly in front of the sole TV where this game is about to be displayed. When my brother and I recognize that the game is on a TV in the back room, we move our pitcher, glasses of beer and menus to our new table at the back of the room, further away from the TV than we'd prefer. Now this back room is big and consists of no less than 8 TVs(estimates). Not wanting to piss off the bartender any further, we strike up a conversation with the only other couple watching the game and ask if they can inquire about getting the game on a few more TVs in the back room. Again, there's 5 TOTAL PEOPLE in this back room including my bro and I (the 5th being a woman sitting at the bar playing pull-tabs, who's not even watching TV). The answer the couple receives is that it's too much of a problem figuring out the DIRECTV system and changing channels. Are you kidding me??? So, my brother and I are sitting at the back of the room with closer, better viewable TVs all around us that are broadcasting collectively; A weight-training show on 2 of the TVs; Women's college basketball on at least 2 of the TVs; ESPN Game Day Live on a TV and the movie "Bull Durham" on the remaining TV. All the while, classic rock music is blaring throughout the bar. From the 9 patrons in the bar, it looked like no one cared about listening to music. This bar is leaving a TON of money on the table by mismanagement of a highly desired feature(NFL Sunday Ticket) by NFL fans on Sundays and a bartender with a terrible disposition and/or an unwillingness to either learn the programming equipment or just a lack of desire to deal with it. Either way, I won't be returning. I hear Sam's on Gage Blvd also has the NFL ticket. I'll be headed there next time. read more

Previous reviews had me thinking I was going to only have a couple drinks. The 4 of us settled in to a couple beers and some nachos. I was impressed with the nachos and the service. The nachos were pretty good sized with good toppings. Plenty of meat and jalapeños. Our server kept checking in and bringing beer. We ordered lunch, mostly fried food. The food was just OK. I speculate they needed to clean the fryer. Should have ordered more nachos I guess. Good service, good nachos and plenty of screens for football. read more

I waited over 20 minutes for service while people came and went around me. I got an apology from the bartender at first until i asked for the managers name. She told me to "just leave." after i told her that i was going to ask why they were so under staffed. I've ran restaurants if the past and managers would be fired for such things. Patron shots are not cheap. I also watched the server spill a shot and refill it using the other shots from the same order! She will see this and clearly remember my face. I closed my tab right away after being ignored for so long. I dont blame the bar tender. This is managements problem. Staff your bar and make sure you are present! Or stop running a facility. Waitress called me a "fucking bitch" as I was leaving. If there was a problem she could have told me to my face. She also tipped herself 10% and when I called the next day the manager pretended to be concerned. They called me a little later saying that it was an accident. But it wasn't because I later found out that the waitress had done the same thing to a friend on the same night. They refused to refund me. And tried to give me a credit to go back. Eww. Why would I go back to a place that violated my bank account. They also charged me for extra stuff that nobody at our table got. So I paid for someone else to have a good time. A fun party place. There are flatscreen TVs EVERYWHERE. We were able to watch the Seahawks no matter where we looked. (And there were other college and professional games on other TVs as well.) Drinks were good, food was good, service was a bit spotty, given that this place is HUGE and people move around quite a bit. I think the waitstaff did as well as they could given the challenges. The shuffleboard area is just OK. The shuffleboard itself is worn and not level. It could use some refurbishing. There is also a pool table area. read more
