You walk in, they hand you a wristband, and suddenly you are the bartender, the decision maker, and possibly your own worst enemy in the best way. A full wall of taps, no waiting, and the freedom to sample like a responsible adult or an enthusiastic one. No judgment either way. Now let's talk about the plot twist, the food. This is not your standard throw some fries at it and call it a day bar menu. The birria tacos show up like they are trying to win awards. The asada is legit. Taquitos disappear faster than you planned. It is the kind of place where you say we will just grab a quick bite and then two hours later you are still there debating one more pour like it is a life decision. We rolled in on a Sunday night and accidentally turned it into an extended stay. Hard to leave when every tap is basically daring you to try something new. And then there is the screen. Massive does not even cover it. It feels less like a TV and more like a sports theater. You could sit anywhere and still feel like you have front row seats. Service deserves its own applause. One guy seemed to be running the whole show and still made it look easy. Checking in, keeping things moving, making sure food hit the table fast. The kind of effort you notice because you do not have to ask for anything. Bottom line, Tri City Taps is not just a bar, it is an experience with a dangerously good rhythm. Pour, eat, repeat. Owner is kind of... I'm just going to say it. The owner is a jerk and that coats the place. Too bad, oh well. If the owner isn't there you still have to deal with his partner, and she thinks she's a chef. She's also equally as non-charming as he is. Other than that I still don't recommend it. You're paying top price, you have to serve yourself, and you feel like you're getting short-changed while the owner maximizes profits. It's a bore. read more

Great place to get a brew or a cocktail. It's a do it yourself pour house. They give you a chipped wristband and you go pick-pour your beer. Decent selection with a cooler full of cold glasses to pick from. Tuesday is taco's for $1.50. Really good street tacos with a nice kicking red sauce. Give it a try. read more

What a fun and interesting concept pouring your own adult beverage . The establishment offered a wide variety of hard ciders , beer and some wines. You are charged by the ounce so even taste testing will cost you. They have a refrigerator with frosty glasses so enjoy the variety. The menu is limited to delicious Mexican food. We enjoyed the beef tacos and chicken taquitos . You'll love the wolf wrist band for all your drinking pleasures . read more

The good first. The beer selection is pretty good, the food is good, the service is good. And they have Sunday ticket for football season! You'd think this review would be 5*. Well the bad just one thing but it's so bad. They play the music as if you are in a Vegas club. Like screaming at your friends across a table loud. At all times. Sunday morning watching football? Yep loud music. Happy hour after a long work day? Yes it will be turnt up. Been here 6 times and each time they seem to want an outdoor concert venue for a tap house. Bad vibe. I've not been back in 6 months. Such a shame. I've talked to so many people and they say the same thing when asked. It always comes up. read more

Met a friend there for our first visit, the bridge troll manning the front station wouldn't let us in the building unless we decided if we wanted beer and opening a tab, without even having a chance to see what was available. After finally getting past her rude holiness, and seeing the beer/cider selection, we thought there might be something worth while until we saw the condition of the poorly washed glassware provided for self service... We decided that perhaps a bar drink might be more appealing. Yet while standing at the bar for nearly 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us as customers, we were finally helped. The wait staff was courteous when they engaged with us, though that was about once per hour of our miserable visit. Additionally, the atmosphere was so loud that conversation was nearly impossible and the other patrons were similarly disrespectful of others. This experience will be our only experience, as this is not a place I will ever return to. read more
