We were visiting from out of state and stopped here cause a friend recommended it to us. It was incredibly packed with people so we sat at the bar. It was incredibly tight with the amount of people in the building and people kept brushing our backs as they walked by. It took over 15 minutes for us to get a drink. The first bartender was busy getting tables drinks and never acknowledged us even sitting there. It's upsetting to not even be greeted especially sitting at the bar where they're working right in front of you. I was ready to leave after not getting any acknowledgment within 15 minutes. Finally a second bartender noticed us and asked if we had been helped. He got us our drinks immediately but no one ever followed up afterwards to see if we wanted to order food. There were about 5 people behind the bar during the hour we were here and not one of them checked in on us. During our experience a regular customer sat down next to me and was immediately greeted and served. It was frustrating that it took so long for us to get service but a regular customer was almost immediately seen. I understand they were very busy but to not even be greeted upon sitting down for 15 minutes is pretty bad :( read more

Friendly staff, great food (CBR Pizza w/ BBQ drizzle highly recommended), and a beer selection that offered something for everyone. Wife enjoyed the Lou Dog Red Ale, while I took in the Blue Line Pale Ale and Ryan's Insane Pale (R.I.P.) (Dry Hopped). Found the artwork on the walls of WW2 aircraft to be fascinating. Left with some crowlers to enjoy at home. Will return anytime we are on the East Side as I need a sticker for the beer fridge! read more

2.5 based on my one experience so far. The beer was alright, nothing super but not terrible like some late to the party micro breweries I've been to. I had the house IPA and the awanaweizen and both were decent. No real complaints there but also nothing mind bending or mind blowing. Service was great. Staff seemed friendly and attentive. No complaints there and I tipped them accordingly. Now the food. Had a pizza and pretzel bites with beer cheese. The pretzel bites sucked. They were basically made somewhere else pretzel style breadsticks that were as dry as it gets. The cheese sauce was alright but the non pretzel pretzel bites sucked. They seemed stale and no wonder, this is the high desert after all. The pizza was ok. The dough was dry and somewhat crunchy but lacking moisture and the all important chew. Toppings were fine. My recommendation to BR is to focus on a limited menu that attempts to make a few dishes shine. Perhaps rethink the pizza dough and use another recipe. Simple is better. Delete the pretzel bites or actually bake them fresh to order. If you bake ahead of time they will dry out. Pretzel should be fresh and chewy. I'll be back for one more try. read more

*This review was written today when the temperature was 99 degrees.* I have been to bombing range for beer before and it is delicious, so my husband and our 9 month old baby decided to escape the heat for dinner. We walked in and were quickly instructed by the bartender to either sit in the other section (where they have an open fire for their pizza oven, making the room at least 20 degrees hotter than the air conditioned "bar area" which was significantly cooler and had fans) or, the bartender told us our other option was to sit outside. With our baby. In 99 degree weather. I give them two stars only because I have enjoyed their beer in the past. This brewery is not family friendly as the family section was not adequately air conditioned, and the other option we were provided was sitting outside. We decided to take our business elsewhere. There are other breweries in town that are more family friendly. read more
