I ordered the Beechwood Cafe Granola, which was a huge portion of house made granola over yogurt with lots of super sweet blueberries. We were in the area playing golf at the nearby Garland Resort. Lewiston has only 1,289 residents so we felt fortunate to find a real 'Mom & Pop' pizza place right here in the heart of town. I washed down my pizza with a can of Vernors, a unique Michigan brand of Ginger Ale. It has been true classic of the Mitten State since it was first brewed in Detroit 141 years ago in 1880. When in the area, I encourage you to stop by for a solid 4-star pie and a cold can of Vernors.
