This shop is a must go to EVERY time we are in Grayling, Michigan! Such a delightful place with many unique Michigan themed items. There is a flower shop inside the shop as well. The baby ice cream cones are only $1 and perfect for a little treat.

I LOVE this store!!! Thanks to previous Yelpers who pointed me in this direction. They have the very best of all things Michigan! Things you actually want to have or give as gifts, not the touristy junk. And there's a bit of nostalgia thrown in too (I had to have the mix and match Faygo/Town Club) See pics for cool stuff I bought but my fave was the wine slushy mix. (NOT powdered junk) And I could've bought so much more but I had to stop somewhere!

I always have to stop in when we come home to visit and there's always something Michigan-themed I have to get (or add to my wishlist). They have everything from clothing and beer to books and artwork to jewelry and home decor. They often have samples (today was two BBQ sauces, asparagus salsa, and toffee), the "pot hole" ice cream is delicious (a kid scoop for $1 is plenty big enough plus they have dog ice cream as well), and they have Faygo in glass bottles! The owners are wonderful, helpful, friendly, and personable. This is definitely worth a visit.

    Awesome selection of clothing!

I'm so glad we randomly stopped at Paddle Hard Brewing on our way to the UP. Located on a cute main…read morestreet in Grayling, we were seated right away at the bar although the place was pretty busy. Nate ordered a beer and I got the peach raspberry mule, which was delicious - fruity and sweet, but with a bit of a kick from the ginger beer. We decided to split the feta and spinach pizza, but everything on the menu sounded delicious. They also have tacos, paninis, starters, salads, mac and cheese, and a kids menu. The bartenders helping us were super friendly and polite. Our pizza came out super quickly and it was so good. It had a ton of feta, and the veggies were fresh. I loved this pizza and would definitely come back for more in the future. I didn't love the ranch (I think it was just Hidden Valley), but it's still an easy 5 stars for me!

The food selection was just as good, with plenty of vegetarian options. If I were to get one thing again, it would be the plain mac & cheese. The portion is enough to share and comes with garlic sticks that are so good. We also tried two pizzas and both were better than most pizza shops I've tried in the area. The service is wonderful. Every single person was friendly. We liked this place so much we bought a tin tacker to hang on our brewery wall in California.

The four stars I give the Grayling store must be taken in context. This is a Northern Michigan…read moretown where people come to visit for fishing, camping, kayaking, snowmobiling, etc. This is not Traverse City, metro Detroit or Grand Rapids. The Grayling store has a good variety of items for the area. I come here from the South Higgins lake area. The wine, beer, liquor section is larger than other Family Fares in the area. I rarely drink but my 87 year old mother gets her way and they have Sobieski Vodka which makes my mother happy. My spoiled dog (all Mom's doing) eats FreshPet dog food. The Grayling store always has a variety of it in stock. The bakery, deli and produce usually has a good stock of items. Of course, I go during the week. They have a Starbucks in the store. The only one for miles. I buy decaf coffee beans and get the Pikes Place flavor. No one else in the area carry decaf beans. The parking lot could use some improvement. It's not a first good impression--potholes and barely visible lines. It always seems trashy. Inside the store is clean. Some of the aisles are not fully clear. All the employees are usually helpful and friendly. I personally cannot imagine what it's like to work in a resort area grocery store.
