After a few mins the unhappy lady took us next. We said we'd need a box since we were planning on getting 9-10 donuts. She snarked, "well I'll have to charge you $.50 for the box if you don't get a dozen." Yeah we saw the sign, but isn't that the cost of doing business?! They aren't charging for wax bags, plus I'm buying 10 items (~$16 worth) which should have the box factored in anyway at only .05 per donut... which is probably the cost of the wax bag they don't charge for! Enough statistical analysis. Then we ask about the chocolate covered Bavarian cream vs. the choc cov'd custard. That sent her into a tiff as she set us straight! Basically their Bav. cream is white & custard is yellow. But most examples online showed Bav. cream as a light yellowy custard! On the bright side most of what we got was tasty. Cinnamon roll & lemonade donut was the best.

Today it's table top cornhole boards. The one game even I couldn't lose at! It goes beyond the cute little shop for ice cream and local stuff. They carry many made in Michigan products. They have a nostalgic look at pop AND great ice cream. It's also fun to see the latest find on their shelves. Depending on which doggie is working, you have several petting opportunities. It's also a wonderful experience to visit with Stacy or Kate. 12/24

Its really spacious inside with really cool seating. It isn't too loud in there when you go between 3-5pm. I think its the perfect time to go with kids. They do have high chairs. Incredible selection…read more I was making my way North when allergies hit me and I realized I had not brought anything with me in the way of supplements or products to keep my immune system intact. I googled furiously because I needed Vitamin D and Vitamin C, plus some of those harder-to-find supplements. This bright and clean store was right on one of the main streets in Gaylord so it was really easy to get to. I found everything I could possibly want and more. Fast forward a few months and today I realized I was out of one product I knew I had purchased there. I called and, sure enough, they had it in stock. I ordered 4 and the manager shipped them out today. You're not going to find a nice, better stocked healthy food store up North. This rivals Better Health and several stores downstate.
