Newell's is my favorite breakfast place in Concord. I was bummed when I moved from my old place, I had a diner where I was a regular, but the the Newell Post quickly became my new go to breakfast/lunch hangout. Their homemade corned beef hash is the best. I'm partial to their breakfast, but lunch is also great. You really can't go wrong here. read more

It was good. The food wasn't not too expensive at all, the meal came fast we didn't wait long and we loved the homemade hash. It was very good. Would return for sure. I have not had hash like that in some time. Sure the bacon was greasy, just how I like it. I am not going their for high tooting NY City breakfast or health food so to those of you that complain about greasy bacon stick to your protein shakes and don't leave home. read more

Best breakfast place around. Good food, good people. Down fall tight seating and normally a wait but it's all worth it due to the yummy food. read more

We visited the restaurant based on its yelp reviews and we were not disappointed. Whether it was the Greek omelet the homemade pancakes or the corn beef hash......top notch. And homemade bread. read more

We visited The Newell Post this morning based on great Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed! We had the Farmer breakfast, eggs benedict florentine & garden omelette. All were hot & delicious! The best eggs & hollandaise. Everything homemade. Great wait staff & atmosphere. Highly recommend The Newell Post to find your brunch 'happy place'! read more

Best home cooked breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean and bright dining area. I have gone here several times and it's always amazing

Great service, and the best homemade corned beef hash I have EVER eaten. Went early, 8am, because I heard it is always packed. We beat the crowd. Everything was outstanding! read more

Great place for breakfast. My wife and I had the hash breakfast and it was outstanding! They bake their own bread so you can even brag about the toast you had. Great food, service and price. You can't go wrong here. read more

We ate here for breakfast and it was Ahhhhmazing!!! The server was perfect, knew everything about the menu, cited the specials, and kept our cups filled. The French toast was the best I've had thus far and the sausage and gravy biscuit was heavenly! read more

Wonderful breakfast place!!! The breads and sweets are made in the store that day. The corn beef hash was not from a can either and was really tasty! You can actually count on wanting to eat the toast because it's the store made bread. The portions are a good deal for the money. Even though I was totally full with omelet, I bought a biscuit with honey. It was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. I actually bought two loaves of sourdough to take home. It's as good as When Pigs Fly bread, but it's much denser. read more

We were driving through concord and stopped for a late breakfast. We went into the restaurant and found it to have a warm atmosphere. We had the corn beef hash (real corn beef ) which was EXCELLENT, sausage gravy & biscuit (the biscuit was definitely home made and not a frozen product) which was very tasty. We also tried a sweet bun which was huge and very good. My favorite part was the hash brown potatoes, which had such a great flavor to them and probably the best I have had in years. Not sure of what the spice in them were, but I loved them. This is definitely the place to be in this area because we listened to someone who ended up being one of the owners going around talking to other tables (and ours) and everyone had great things to say about the food. I would go on a regular basis if I lived in the area but will stop in again when back in Concord. THANKS NEWELL POST FOR A GREAT START TO OUR DAY!!!!!! read more

Homemade breads, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, overall a great little place. I feel like this is a very worthy stop for brunch, but in full disclosure their breakfasty items are all that I've ordered. read more

This was our first visit to The Newell Post. We managed to get seated before the waiting line started. I ordered the All Country Breakfast - eggs, sausage, baked apples, sausage gravy with biscuit - all of wich were excellent. My husband ordered one of the three egg omelets and he said it was excellent as well. Very nice homey atmosphere. Will definately go again and recommend to others. read more

We have fallen in love with this wonderful place. The food was great! The services was sweet and attentive and the sticky buns are to die for. We will be regulars! read more

This is the second great breakfast we have had in two days, while visiting in New Hampshire. This place only opened 5 months ago and I cannot say eough good things about our experience. Both the exterior and interior of newly constructed restaurant are lovely. The inside is very comfortable and the owners have plans for further decorating. The quality of the food is tremendous and employees are exceptionally friendly. It is obvious they are doing everything possible to build their new business and cannot do enough to satisfy their customers. My bacon seemed over done and when I mentioned it, they were back to the table within a couple of minutes with bacon done exactly the way I wanted it. The prices were reasonable and the only item I thought was overpriced was the fruit cup. I think they could provide more for the money. This place deserves a 5 star rating and will soon be the #1 breakfast place in the Concord area. read more

My husband and I have been to the Newell Post several times and have been happy with the service and food. Today was different than our past visits. The waitress took our order in a timely fashion but we waited 35 minutes for our food to be delivered. My husband got a breakfast and I ordered a chicken ranch pita . The server asked if I would like sweet potato fries but never told me they were extra. My sandwich was definitely not worth the price especially with the added cost for the fries. We asked after 25 minutes if our food would be out soon and were told it was being plated and it took longer because of the chicken. Ten minutes later when I got my sandwich it was not that big (for the price) and it was little cubes of chicken not the pattie I thought it was going to be. That chicken should have cooked in 30 seconds. We heard several complaints about the food from other patrons and inquiries as to why it was taking so long to get their food. The waitresses were very busy serving coffee to appease everyone. My husband said his breakfast was okay but toast was not included in the price which is unusual. Don't know what was going on in the kitchen but it will be a while before we go back. We felt bad for the waitstaff as they were doing a good job. read more

Have been going there about once a week since shortly after they opened. The wait staff is terrific. The food, however, has seen a steady decline over the past couple of years. Sometimes it's hot and sometimes barely warm. They seem to have a problem with keeping kitchen staff making consistency impossible. read more

They catered my company's cookout. The food and service was very good.

Breakfast is average, nothing special, and service is not the best sometimes. Limited parking is an issue when they are busy.

Today was the third time I have visited in about a month. The first two times I ordered the corned beef hash: while a few bites were lean and tasted good, I had to pick around a lot of fat and the meat was swimming in grease. The first time the toast was good but the second contained so much butter that it was a soggy mess. TODAY I ordered lunch and waited for 35+ minutes with no communication from the server. There were plenty of open tables so I couldn't understand the delay. I finally went to find the server to ask her what was taking so long. After another minute I had had enough and left. read more

just visited the establishment today, very satisfied, live in Hillsboro and will make a trip often for a nice meal ,very friendly wait staff and attentive, was too full for desert but could not pass up the blueberry pie, took it to go we are making dinner out of it with a coffee, still full from the noon meal, highly recommend this cozy restaurant, every lady working the tables were awesome, everyone had a smile and very conscious of there responsibilitys. read more

Tried Newell Post for the first time today. That is the only reason for the 4 star vote and not 5 stars at this point, need more than one good visit, but certainly so far so good. Service was good and food was great and very reasonably priced. Toast is all from homemade bread cut thick and perfectly crispy. Omelet was very tasty. Home fries are all made fresh and cooked to perfection. I hope our next visit is as good as the first and this will become our new favorite breakfast spot. Restaurant is a little small and we did have to wait 10-15 minutes for a seat but not unexpected for a place that is good. read more

Never a bad meal at Newell. Love that everything is home made, staff is always super nice-even when it is packed. A real gem.

Stopped here for breakfast a few Sundays ago based on its yelp reviews. It's a small place and it was busy; but we got seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was really friendly, offered great recommendations, and checked in on us without being obtrusive. The food was great - my corned beef omelet was really yummy. At one point the owner came out and checked on all her patrons - a nice touch. If I lived in Concord, I'd be back often! read more

My company used Newell Post to provide breakfasts to our staff every week during tax season. It was a huge hit and everyone looked forward to it during the cold crazy tax season months. Additionally we use them for appetizers and desserts for seminars we put on and the dessert bar tray is amazing! read more

This is great if you need a place for convenient eating. However it is hit or miss with there food.

This place is great! Great service, homemade bread and desserts, very clean, and just overall really good food!

After reading others' reviews I thought this would be a great breakfast. Meh. I had pancakes, which are generally good no matter where you go, I mean they're pancakes. But something was off about these. I noticed it with the first bite, had my husband try, and he said "they don't taste like pancakes". They were kind of dense, you should be able to cut a pancake with your fork easily, but I had to saw at it. Very pale in color, which could have been solved by just leaving them on the griddle longer. But the flavor... Something very off. Like spoiled yogurt. It was so strong that it was still clear through being completely saturated with real maple syrup, which we paid extra for. I know they were buttermilk pancakes, but that does not account for the bad flavor and texture, I've never had a buttermilk pancake like that in my life. My husband had a breakfast sandwich which looked good and he said it was. It had a huge sausage patty that fit the toast. We both thought the breakfast potatoes were over seasoned, very heavy on paprika, garlic, and salt. Especially paprika. The stars I am giving are for service, our waitress was prompt and courteous. read more

We visited today based on recommendations from Yelp! and did not disappoint. Breakfast was fresh and hot - great homemade bread (toast) and home fries. Belgian waffle was light and fluffy. Staff was friendly and we called ahead to see if there was a wait which there was not. 10 minutes after we sat down there was a line out the door. Highly recommend to others. read more

Excellent breakfast and lunch place for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. We will definitely be stopping by on our way up/back from the White Mountains. read more

Where else can you order eggs, crab cakes and baked beans for breakfast? It was fantastic!

From the friendly staff to the nurturing food, this place is a gem. It is so hard to find an atmosphere reminiscent of an American traditional Rockefeller painting, where you feel transported back to that place from your childhood. The place where your grandparents brought you. Where they knew the people who ate there and the family who owned it. The place where they welled up with pride when they saw the look on your face as you bit into the blueberry pancake made the way they were meant to be made. The sound of people laughing. The smiles on all of the staffs faces as they are as excited to seat you as you are to have journeyed in. At this place it is a joy to have to wait a short time to be seated because as you wait in the beautiful Sunday morning sun, you realize that this place is different from most establishments. This is a home to the community. It's everyone's breakfast, lunch, and dinner table. read more

Great scratch made-to-order breakfast. Good service, but come hungry, cause the portions are huge. Reasonable prices... What more to say, but excellent. read more

It has the potential to be a great breakfast joint but the potatoes are frozen and deepfried which is lame and the bathrooms are RIGHT THERE which is unappetizing... read more

Charming family owned breakfast:lunch place. Everything you would want in the morning - friendly staff, no loud music, prompt service and great tasting food. Breakfast all day - we ordered eggs - omelette and veggie scramble with home made toast and hash browns (though we were tempted by optional grits). Clean, not greasy, fresh veggies (down to real mushrooms) and perfectly toasted hash browns. Home made toast - cinn raisin and wheat - was good but came with lots of butter so get it dry if you want to control quantity. read more

Our first time here and love this place! We sat at the counter because the tables were full. I went off my eating plan for the home made corned beef hash and it is absolutely hands down the best I have had!!! My husband had the crab cake Benedict and he said it was fabulous and was more crab meat chunks than breading, which is not the usual. Our server Kathy was very good and the owner, Deb chatted with us and is so interesting! We drove up from Manchester and we look forward to coming up again soon. read more

Food is always great here. Everything is homemade. Waiting area is small but it moves fairly quickly. No hashbrowns's on weekends, but if you ask on weekdays they will make them for you. We go here almost every week! read more

Disappointing after hearing good things. Less than fresh fruit, burned toast, undercooked over hard eggs, no herb tea. I know I'm looking for healthy alternatives, but they were not available. Place was packed on a Friday morning, and service was only so-so. read more

I really wanted to give the Post a better score but no. We were seated quickly by a very nice hostess and had a good waitress, friendly folks. We placed our order and had a long wait to get our food. Not a problem as I was in no hurry and the coffee kept coming. Once we got our food was where I was a little disappointed. I got the corned beef hash which was homemade, shredded corned beef the way I like it, but with very few potatoes. It was cold! The potatoes were refrigerator cold and the meat about room temperature. IMHO there is no excuse for cold food that should be hot. I mentioned it to the waitress and she told me I should have let her know but she had not come back to check on us until we were done. The wife got a Benedict which was good but the homefries seemed to have too much garlic or some seasoning that just took away from them. The baked beans I had for a side were great and hot. I will go back and try again as I think this place has potential, very clean and friendly. read more
