Eggwich with sausage
Allison H.

This is a nice place for a quick breakfast. I got the eggwich with sausage on pesto bagel. I received my order within a few minutes. The bagel was toasted and soft. It was delicious and hot in temperature. However, I think it's on the pricier side.

Lox and cream cheese, on sesame bagel

I found this nice bagel shop after doing lab tests at Kaiser. I hadn't eaten in over 12-hours, so I wanted something to takeout and eat in my vehicle. There were tables available, but I was feeling a bit lightheaded and wanted to sit in my truck. So I ordered a Pastrami Bagel Sandwich, a Lox & Cream Cheese Bagel and coffee to wash it down. The sandwiches were made quickly, and the nice folks were a delight to talk to. How were the sandwiches? Well, I wasn't hungry anymore. The crisp bagels, the fresh ingredients, the crunchy cucumbers and the smell of fresh food. A delight to the senses! Nice bagel shop with fair prices.

Bagel with cream cheese and fresh squeezed orange juice

Ordered from door dash. The bagel was delivered directly to me from the shop but unfortunately it was cold by the time I got it. Little over toasted and a bit smaller than I expected, price $4.99. They were generous with the cream cheese which is appreciated. The fresh squeezed orange juice was decent, little pricey but that may have included the up charge online. The to go cup was about 3/4 full, not sure of sizing as there was only one option, cost $6.49. The outer packaging/paper bag was sealed with staples to prevent tampering which is great. Not sure if the bagel and orange juice being up against each other in the bag caused bagel to get cold.

The Posh Bagel has really good fresh bagels, a very large selection , and great customer service as well! I came here on consecutive days this weekend because I was in the area, and I really enjoy their breakfast bagel sandwich. Since it was Sunday morning and I didn't feel like cooking, I decided to get my wife a bagel sandwich as well and we ordered a side of bacon. Because of covid-19 it was set up so you cannot sit inside, but they have an outdoor dining area. The customer service here is really good, they are very polite, efficient, and will ring you up very quickly so you can enjoy your food while it's hot. I'll be back, it's nice to know you have a good bagel shop in the neighborhood!

Egg omelette bagel

The veggie egg omelette bagel I got looks a little gray inside?? Not sure what's up with that..

Always over toasted garlic bagels not the employees fault

If you request a toasted Garlic or onion bagel here it will always be some what burnt this is not the employees fault they only have one toaster that's set to work well for most bagels except the onion and garlic ones and turning it down &letting it cool Is not practical as it takes time too many customers the owner should install a second toaster that's set lower to not burn the onion and garlic bagels or stop selling those to avoid customer complaints and having hardworking staff be subject to ridicule

Advertises $2.89 for a gourmet bagel, $3.00 extra for cream cheese. With tax that came out to over $6.00. Staff very dismissive...

Great food and variety. Clean location. Friendly employees. I will return. Sometimes it's very busy but worth the wait.

It's a surprise every day, which pizza they'll make, but it's guaranteed to always be good. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, the kind you can just taste. Even their salads, soups, and baked goods are delicious, it tastes like a quality bakery, for a place that's known for great pizza. This is definitely an if you know, you know spot, the kind you'll come back to for years on end for its consistency, its flavor, its heart. It's a staple of the East Bay for a reason, and even if you're not a vegetarian, you will adore it.

In total, we paid $7.50, which was not bad at all! The space is spacious inside with an ample parking lot, but I would say this is more of a grab-and-go place; there is some outdoor seating. We got a pizza with tomato, olive oil, feta, and olives. The service was quick, straightforward, and we were able to get our slices within 5 minutes and it came out hot which was great! The pizza itself is on the thinner side and has a good ratio of dough to cheese. The crust/base was chewy and light and did in fact, taste healthy (in a good way)! Do I think this place is somewhere you must go to try out? Honestly, no, it is a good value pizza that tastes delicious, but I would say to only stop in if you are around the area.

West coast you can only find it in Andersen Bakery. Sang Kee has it but it is way, way subpar. The one I bought here is (water roux)- the Hong Kong version which is different from the traditional French version at Andersen Bakery. They are equally good quality 2. The Portuguese Custer tart is authentic. But I prefer the one from our Chinese Bakery in San Leandro. They have the Portuguese pie crust with the English custard which is less sweet. ****A warning to American born, you might want to stick to the version here @ Napoleon because the modify version might be totally tasteless to you **** 3. The Chinese tamale. This is best so far. It has LEAN Chinese sausage, LEAN pork & egg yolk. I hope someday they will include a few dry shrimps in it. Totally tasteful WITHOUT MSG. It brings me back to the pre 2010 authenticate Chinese cooking. GOOD JOB guys & keep it up 4. The moon cake. Not as sweet as the commercial one. I want to buy 3 boxes. The red bean paste with egg yolk, the lotus paste & the mixed nut. But I only have $40 that I just got from the bank. I know Chinatown takes cash because it is non traceable. I have such wishful thinking that they might have charge service to accommodate customers who bought over $40. I ended up just buying one tamale & one moon cake.

The Dan tats (egg tarts) are always on point and have every sort of pineapple bun available. There is a sort of system that you do have to do your best to follow when you're there. Usually there is a single file line out the door. Please don't try to cut or people will give you the ugly side eye. Once you reach inside, you need to do your best to scan the option because once you're called up, there's not much time to browse. The good thing is that if you don't know what's available - you can always point to the egg tarts (always top shelf) and pineapple buns (always in the far left display case). Once you've come a few times, you can have a general idea what's available and don't even need to browse the case anymore :) During autumn moon festival season (fall) they always have the most impressive display of beautiful moon cakes available with 0-3 yolk options and a multitude of fillings. The basic classic ones are lotus, but if that's too unfamiliar - go with all the familiar easy options. They are all amazing. And they have since increased their "if you don't make it to $10" box prices to $1. So really, just buy all the Dan tats to make it just over the $10 mark so you don't have to carry all your pastries in a plastic bag. Oh and no more than 5 pennies at a time. Rules and signs exist for a reason.

The coconut was great, but the middle chunks of coconut, which I appreciate, just didn't do it for me. I personally think a softer - cream/cake center would've made it a 10/10.
