First off the ladies in the office are fabulous! They did a personal walkthrough with me of all the slabs and were very knowledgeable of what everything was as well as the durability. They weren't pushy at all and never tried to "talk me into anything". They even gave me samples to take home. It was a nice experience. We chose the leathered fantasy brown which is very unique in texture. When the installers brought it in, it was flawless and perfectly cut to fit. They were also very professional. It didn't take them long to get it in place with no real issues to speak of. Everything fit nicely and I was pleased with the spacing on either side of the stove and fridge which I had specified. They got it right! Price wise I feel like we got a pretty good deal. I feel that their prices are very fair and you can't beat the quality. The selection is nice whether you're looking for granite, quartz or marble. I highly recommend Rio Stone! So before you go to some of these other places, make sure you check them out first!!!

She replaced our old soft sided pool with a steel sided pool - that we love - for over $4000. What…read morewe don't love is the 5" gap between the pool and the deck and the 3' of sand around the ladder and perimeter of the pool. Just what you DON'T want to track in to your pool or house - SAND. But most important is that we have been requesting the brand and model of our pool and the written warranty for months. So far - nothing. And now we're being ignored. So we've paid to have the deck extended to the pool to avoid potential trip hazard. We bought steps so we don't have to use the ladder and can minimize the sand going in to our pool and our house. We found 2 small (thumbnail size) tears in our liner (we're pretty sure that her installer used our clips that we use for our cover to clip to the rail of the pool when installing the liner - coincidentally 2 of those clips don't have rubber tips. Hmmm). She did come out promptly to patch them using a patch she cut from a piece of liner. Did it do the job? Yes. Does it look like crap? YES. Our answer was to purchase ($6 for ten) precut patches so at least it doesn't look half a$$ed. So far we've paid over $4000 for the pool. Another couple hundred for the contractor to "fill in" the gap on our deck. Amazon got about $300 out of us for the steps. Pinch a Penny got $6. And we haven't even gotten a quote to do something about the sand that surrounds the pool. The sand that, when tracked in on to hardwood floors scratched the heck out of them. Do I love my pool and did she install what she said she was going to? 100%. But the workmanship is shoddy to say the least. Oh. By the way. The ladder was ASSEMBLED AND INSTALLED WRONG! Which I found out by looking at a picture of the ladder on line. Not rocket science. Customer service is questionable at best. Hope you have more success. All I can say is to get EVERYTHING in writing UP FRONT. We have a contract but still waiting on written warranty and info about our pool.

Mel came with her assistant. They dove the pool, as well as, checked the perimeter of the pool with the sound device and then checked the pump area and filter for leaks. They fixed several small leaks. Stated thed would come back in a day or 2 to complete the repairs once they had the parts. On Monday I notified Mel the pool still had a leak, though less now. She stated they'd come out on Tuesday. On Tuesday, she came out as promised, installed the pump area parts, as well as, she redove the pool and found another couple of leaks.. Its now Thursday and it appears all leaks have been fixed. YaY! Thank you Mel.

We spoke for some time and I told him that I was not an "early bird" at that time. We made an appointment to meet for the first time and start pool service on Tuesday, 3/5. Then he called on 3/2 to change his appointment to Wednesday 3/6 at 10AM. That's fine. But by Wednesday at 10:30 he had not arrived nor had he called. That was a bad sign. When a "professional" is late for their first meeting with a new client, after already rescheduling his appointment, there is an issue. I called him and he was still 1/2 hour out from my location but explained that he could only service my pool at 7:30 in the morning - and that is unacceptable to me as I had expressed to him specifically during our first conversation. Needless to say, he will not be coming to service my pool and I certainly couldn't recommend him due to this unprofessional behavior.
