To make a long story short the process from dig day forward was very frustrating. I am a home builder, so I am familiar with construction processes, contractors, and scheduling. In the very beginning, I requested to be given a seasoned superintendent for my project. What I got was a messenger. 99% of my questions could not be answered, and unfortunately a few build details were overlooked or installed improperly and had to be corrected. This was not because I did't express my concern but more because it just went in one ear and out the other. I ended up working with John the manager after a certain point in time. Fortunately, he saw to it to make things right. My 1st pool school was rushed and lacked the "Congratulations on your new pool, I'm here to teach you how to maintain it" attitude. This was my first pool, I was a deer in headlights. Eventually, they sent a second pool school technician to me by the name of Brian Heathcoe. What a wonderful human being Brian is!. He showed me every process on maintaining the pool and was patient enough to answer my 100 questions. I've had my pool for 10 months now and there has been a time or two when I was unsure of something and reached out to Brian on his cell phone. He answered immediately and took care of me. He has since been promoted, and I can understand why. Blue Haven needs to hire more people like Brian! My bottom line suggestion is if you go with Blue Haven on the Gulf make sure you communicate and hold them accountable to what they say they're going to do. One last thing, if you want an amazing and patient designer then ask for Amy Wright!

Buyer Beware! Pool is in its 2nd summer. The weeds and mold around the brick pavers is horrific. Had many quotes to have the paver sand redone because of course Blue Haven said "out of warranty". Every single contractor that came to quote asked "Blue Haven Pool?" They could tell by the paver installation their Crap work. Sad to think about how much original pool cost and the amount I am now paying to correct the paver sand, mold removal and weeds. Oh and most quotes - 5 year warranty. Do not use!! Welp - wouldn't you know that got the attention of Julie their warranty manager who had told us to pack sand earlier. She now messaged us to say, while this is outside the warranty, the pavers may not have been maintained properly in only 18 months. However - now they are willing for to send someone out (specific date given) to show us how to maintain.....IF...we remove the 2 star google review and replace with a 5 star review. Are they for real? BBB coming in next. For what it is worth - the design is beautiful. The actual pool is beautiful. The paver patio is the problem that will be ruined if we do not shell out $1000s to fix less than 2 years of install. I wish i could add pictures here. If you could see the mold and weeds growing.

When the engineer came and said he told them the pool way too high which caused the yard to drain all rain towards the house. The small little grates put in seem to provide little help as there is no exit for the flow of water in there. I'm trying once again to address the water issue, but I'm beyond frustrated. Pavers are sinking as well. I sure wish someone would come check things out. I'm tempted to have the whole pool removed and going back to grass. Pictures might be hard to tell, but standing there you definitely can. Every worker I get here say the pool should have been lower and graded correctly.

A week later we were scheduled for liner replacement on Monday. No show no call. Showed up Tuesday. New liner installed. Husband noticed the ball valves hadn't been installed. Texted Kevin I. Regards to our upgraded ladder still hasn't shown up & let him know about the ball valves. He said his guys did t have any in their truck during the install which was over 2 weeks ago. I guess they just weren't going to install them which are important for pool maintenance. The ladder situation- no upgraded ladder since I had texted Devin that we would order our own set of steps. Plus a pool bottom mat. I never received an acknowledgment on our request. So we assumed we would get the upgraded ladder still. I didn't order the set we wanted. My complaint or should say dissatisfaction with Syan pools would be lack of communication & not installing a completed piping system which was paid for.
