I called Susan and when making an appointment with her she wanted to know how old he was and any concerns so she could take good care of him. When I walked in today to leave Max there it was cozy and very much a place you'd feel comfortable and know your pup was going to be pampered. As I entered the shop later to pick up Max he was SMILING and his tail was wagging. The grooming took at least 3 years off his looks and he's feeling soooo much better. The boys get excited when we pull into the parking lot and they love the staff. Although it's gotten a little more pricey over the years, It's always clean. Everyone from the front office staff to the groomers to the kennel staff that work in the back are extremely nice, welcoming and friendly. We're always greeted with a smile when we arrive and when we leave. One of the great things is they send you pictures of your pet during playtime when you're boarding them and or daycare. To give you a piece of mind knowing they're in excellent hands. It's worth the money.

SO DISAPPOINTED and NEGLECTED! The first two times we went…read moreour 9 yr. old German Shepherd was with Lauren and this time also. The First 2 groomings were great. Then--------- I had always taken and picked her up. This time, my husband dropped her off. Normally, Lauren took the leash from me and to the grooming table they went. Yesterday, my husband was told by Lauren that she was 2 hours behind. She took the leash and he left. Jacki was our rescue 6 years ago. She was kept in a kennel all day and night for a very, very long time. I had given her history to the groomer and was told she wouldn't need to be kenneled. After my husband told me, I rushed out the door to get her. I walked in, and found Jacki in the kennel **** with her collar and leash wrapped around her leg and chest, still on!!! Her ears were flat like she was scared. No water in the kennel either. I was appalled. Who puts a dog in a kennel and leaves them like that? This establishment does. I opened the kennel door and Jacki shyly came out acting unsure and frightened. Lauren walked a bit towards me from the opposite side of the room, but never came close. No apology. She repeated that she was 2 hours behind as if she had no idea that Jacki was neglected and mistreated. I had to speak louder than normal since she never came over to me. I told her that she should have called me and asked if I could bring her later or reschedule. She said she would next time. I will not be going back. There won't be a next time, not ever. When we got outside, Jacki returned to her loving self. She gave me kisses and pulled me to the car. No apology or follow-up call from them. No recognition of how Jacki was treated so badly. Never again. I have since spoken with several dog people and knowledgeable in training. They would never leave a dog with a collar and leash on in the kennel. Everyone was appalled at Jacki's treatment.

I grabbed a few of those bone shaped cookies. My dog loved them. She actually went sort of crazy over them. I will definitely stop by for next year's birthday celebration. Also, the clerk at the register was helpful with suggestions. He also confidently knew the ingredients of the bakery items. Store is fairly clean. I wish it was in a different location for ease of access. If you're not familiar with this location you could easily drive past it. I'll definitely return for more birthday treats and dog toys.

He has been kenneled in other locations before and this had never happened. I was told by the manager it was possibly the large number of dogs in the play area that didn't work for him but because of fighting they couldn't have him back, and they were going to keep him in his kennel 24/7 for the next 2 days until we picked him. I understand, safety first, but when I asked how often he would be taken out to potty I was told the staffing was overloaded and he would probably not get out, but they would try to work something out. I told her that was not ok! She back pedaled and said it would be fine and they'd take care of him. Well, I don't think they did. My dog came home dirty, smelling, skittish, clearly had lost weight and was not himself. He threw up the first night home - which he never does. When my husband went in to pick him up, he came out tail tucked and not even happy to see us. My husband questioned them when we picked him up, they just brushed us off. They clearly had no plan for a dog they needed to separate. I watched my dog on video while he was there and he was interacting very well. If he got in a fight, I can understand keeping him isolated from group play - but they have to have a plan for that, a place they can potty dogs separately and give him interaction separately. I wasn't paying to keep him locked in a kennel alone 24/7. Based on his behavior when I picked him up - I am concerned he was not only isolated but treated very unkindly. It is taking time to coax him out of being skittish and back to his normal fun loving self. I do not recommend this place at all!!!

If you don't want to read the PDF, imagine those heartbreaking Sarah McLaughlan ASPCA ads (in the aaaarms of the aaaangels) and that about sums it up. Fuzzypups is nothing but a broker for a (particularly gruesome) puppy mill. I'm sure they'll claim he cleaned up his act or something, but think about it a minute- does someone who lets things get that bad actually "care about dogs" enough to turn things around and somehow become a responsible breeder working only for the betterment of the dogs and not for sheer profits? Let me answer that for you... NO! And no, I don't have a "fuzzypup," I ran across them while searching for a REPUTABLE havanese breeder and was absolutely appalled that these disgusting mill brokers tried to paint themselves as a "family business all about the dogs." Give me a break. All about the Benjamins maybe. I just laid my rescued mill dog (from a mill dog shelter, not "rescued" by buying them from the mill!!) to rest, about 5 years before her breed's typical lifespan, after years of illness and suffering, because people like ol' Clem and Fuzzypups couldn't care less if they're churning out dogs that are going to suffer from painful health defects all their short lives. They'd rather make money off torturing sentient creatures- and make no bones about it, that's what dogs in mills go through- torture! Before they accuse me of being against breeders, there's absolutely nothing wrong with buying a dog from a responsible breeder who is doing everything they can to produce healthy, well adjusted dogs, better the breed, and do right by dogkind. Heck, I'm looking for a good breeder myself, for my own reasons. Fuzzypups is NOT a good breeder, nor is Clem Disterhaupt. Sure, you might get lucky and end up with a healthy or psychologically sound dog if you buy from Fuzzypups, but based on other reviews it's quite the gamble. MORE IMPORTANTLY, any money you give to Fuzzypups, whether through boarding, grooming, or buying a puppy, is going directly back into the mill industry and ensuring people like Clem Disterhaupt can stay in business to keep churning out mill puppies. If you care about dogs AT ALL, stay far, FAR away!!
