They have an air machine if you need to add air to your tires. Inside the convenience store is surprisingly well stocked, and the prices there were comparable with larger gas stations. I was kind of expecting Bodega style pricing as there aren't a ton of convenience stores in the area, but they don't take advantage of you here which is commendable. The only downside was that the employees seemed utterly disengaged from their jobs. I went here on successive days as I was staying at the hotel across the street, and every time I went in there were two employees on duty, and neither of them barely looked up from their phones to take my money.

So I stick to the product I can see the price for. The woman at the register was super friendly and nice. She helped some of the customers in the lobby with the coffee area when they had questions and then quickly rang me out with a smile on her face. Would return for a snack run :)

Stay away at all costs! Please read to save yourself time, frustration, and money!…read more We brought my daughters Subaru to Jeff's for a water pump/timing belt. Simple job. They put a hole through the block and damaged the engine. It gets worse! They took responsibility and replaced the motor with a trash motor from another car. Several weeks of waiting. After a few months the valve covers they just put on started to leak and the car started to over heat. I chased my tail for a couple weeks working on it replacing sensors and thermostats to no avail. We took it to Greg's Japanese Auto (Highly recommend!) and they diagnosed the car to have head gasket failure. Same head gaskets that were installed when they put the new block in. Another trip to Seattle, showed them the report from Greg's and they took responsibility and said they would replace the head gaskets. Another couple weeks of no car for my daughter. We went to pick it up and every warning light, check engine light, etc was illuminated on the dash. My daughter was in tears! We left the car and Jeff told us the codes were from the transmission and NOT the motor he just worked on. These codes never existed before another half-assed session of poor workmanship. We would have to pay him to work on the transmission. I brought the car home and took it back to Greg's to have it diagnosed again. They concurred that the transmission was an issue and would need to be replaced but they also checked the work on the head gaskets and block. They said the coolant was still testing for hydrocarbons which means the head gaskets are still bad or the block was cracked. We need a new transmission and a new engine! The car is a total loss because they couldn't do a simple water pump correctly and compounded the problem by not being competent mechanics. Please do not use this shop.

I asked for help bc their car wash double charged my card, both the staff members "Kelly" and the bald man was so rude to me I was baffled. I came in as soon as it happened and when I got to the counter u was confronted with rude looks, Kelly denied helping me immediately when I explained to her what happened.. she immediately said it was my fault. I told them I work close by and I could just take a car wash chip if they didn't want to refund me one of the car washes. They said no. I can't believe a business would treat one of their locals this way. It's the principle. Even though it's 10$ I was double charged and it's only right to refund me 1, since I only got ONE CAR WASH. I just don't understand why they were so unkind and immediately unprofessional and not willing to help me. I couldn't believe it, they must both be so miserable. I'll be letting people know in the community how I was treated by this gas station and telling my bank. Shell gas stations are known to steal from their customers, especially in WA! I should have known better.... Please hire some decent staff that look presentable and act more kind to their local community. You should be ashamed stealing money from customers. This Yelp review is not your karma...

If you want expensive gas come here. If you want snacks and drinks, they have plenty inside. What…read morethey don't have is anything that a driver might need for roadside assistance. For example their air compressor is out of order, and they do not sell canned air inside the shop. As a matter of fact, other than drinks and snacks, they sell very little car related merchandise. There might be a couple of gas cans or some armor all, but not much else. Also if you're thinking of vacuuming out your car, don't come here because it also is out of order. They do have a car wash, although I question if it's in order because nothing else is. It also looks a little rickety. They have a bathroom outside, but from its appearance I think I would rather try to hold it until I could get somewhere else.

I can't believe I am going out of my way to review a gas station but this place is so disappointing…read moreit needs to be called out. I have given this place a decent amount of money over the last 5 years ONLY because it's decently convenient (I say decently because the geographical location is close to my house but actually pulling in/out at this spot is always a pain the ass). Today I went and FIVE of the pumps were out of service- one of which has been broken for over a year. There is zero flow. It's always jam packed and people all over park like idiots. It's a mess. The employees are not nice, they don't acknowledge you at all. There is no hello/goodbye, they don't even tell you your total. They just stand there and stare at you. Also FYI ladies I wouldn't be caught dead here alone at night because there's always sketchy stuff going on in parking lot.

But I've been using computers ever since that moment. Honestly! That's why it was extremely surprising that I couldn't figure out the interface on the gas pumps at this Shell Gas Station. They are touch screens and, apparently, written by someone with ADD... and dyslexia... and possibly schizophrenia. Seriously, I was standing outside for nearly five whole minutes trying to navigate the confusing questions it asked. I think it was just as confused as I was. "Card unreadable at this time." "Just kidding, what's your zip code?" "I don't recognize those numbers. Could you please stand on your head and try typing them in again?" It was 40 degrees outside, and I was like my MOM writing a CHECK at Target. Eventually, I made friends with the machine, took it out and got it drunk, and it gave me the gas for free. Okay. Just kidding about the free part. Three stars because I did, eventually, fill the tank with gas. Also, the station is conveniently located at the intersection of 75th Street, Roosevelt, and Lake City Way. (Note: I didn't actually go into the building. For all I know, they sell helpful manuals with instructions on how to use their space-aged gas pumps.)
