I was very pleased to find Legacy Plumbing who clearly had the best reviews for plumbing services in the Dallas area. I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. The coordinator had their plumber Spencer call me to see if I had any questions after our initial call. I initially brought in another company for an estimate but called Spencer back for a fact check to verify the first company's pricing. Spencer was able to respond immediately with what Leak Geek's pricing would be for the same pricing and said they could get out there within about an hour. I ended up hiring Leak Geeks, and Spencer got here within about 30 minutes of being dispatched. He did a great job identifying where the leak was coming from. It was a worse case than I had hoped for, but he found it. He cut and capped the line so I could still use the rest of the water in the house while the drywall was being remediated and the eventual repairs could be made. He referred a remediation company, American Water Damage, who had an estimator come out, again within about an hour, provide an estimate, and get a remediation tech to come out to move a basin, cut open the upstairs wall, and place fans and a dehumidifier. I'm impressed and relieved that they could get all of this done in the same day. Spencer was friendly and professional throughout. I couldn't have asked for more (except for the leak to not have happened in the first place).2

I also had them look at my sink disposal and two toilets. They provided good advice about the condition of a water valve on one toilet and after discussing price options, I decided to get the toilet pumps updated. Overall, they took just over an hour for all the repairs and then explained everything they completed by taking me on a "tour" of the repairs until I was satisfied. I paid $1000 for a 30 minute job of running an auger to clear a sewer line. Sewer line was…read morereclogged within days. There was no warranty on the work and no guarantees on a $1000 job. Their only response was to continue to push the $7k job to crack the foundation. While I agree that there are additional fixes needed, the camera showed enough clearance in the pipes that it should have been able to flow using septic toilet paper as advised. I only wanted the clog to be fixed while I worked on arranging the overall fix, but Dustin did not agree and was very combative regarding my request for a simple visit to guarantee the $1000 job I just paid for.
