There isn't a cleanout available so Jaime pulled the toilet and scoped the entire main line and showed me exactly what the problems were. He popped down into my Mom's really cramped crawl space to see what it would take to correct it. The waste lines were very old and damaged cast iron and Jaime presented 3 different options to take care of the problems. I felt like he really listened to us and once we decided what to do he started right away to dig and install a new cleanout and replace the damaged drain lines. It was very tough work, but all their guys worked hard to get the work done. He quoted us an astronomical $1,750 just to change the valves, and up to $2,900 for options involving the box and drain. Those prices are completely disconnected from fair market rates. We reached out to other licensed professionals in the area and had the exact same work completed cleanly and properly for around $300. I understand businesses have overhead, but quoting nearly $2,000 for a standard 1-to-2-hour valve job feels predatory. Do your homework and call around before agreeing to their estimates.

I chose Turbo Plumbing & Rooter to do the work because their price quote was a little lower than the next closest price, but more importantly, the primary reason was the quality of the discussions we had regarding all the available options for attempting to repair, or just replacing the water heater. Also, the boss coming to an agreement with me on a little negotiation for something I wanted included in the contract was the clincher. We have a deal! The next day 2 workers arrived at the agreed upon time, removed the non-functional water heater from my garage, installed the new one in the same place, and hauled away all the remains. I have waited almost two weeks after the work was completed before writing this review, in order to ensure no problems would pop up, and none did. Now I can say whole heartedly, with the only exception being 2 sheet metal screws I found on the garage floor, that the job was completed in a professional, workmanlike, and timely manner. He spent about an hour with us this morning going over the job and he's helping us so much to be the liaison between us and our home warranty Co. The project didn't get worse , only better . They cleared away some roots they found near the pipes (getting rid of the offending hibiscus ASAP) Installed a shower head for me , installed a new toilet , fixed the clog and pipe and its all been super smooth. They did everything they said they would do on time and no BS, no attitude . Both Jose & Ricardo show up with a smile and good attitudes . Cleanup was amazing too. Barely lifted a finger . Ricardo & Jose are the crew your want . We will be clients for life (hoping we don't need them too much) When you find a good contractor keep them! We also treated them quite nicely . While we love our home & we did our due diligence yet WOW! You don't know what your buying until it comes up in your drain. Saturday night about midnight while attempting a shower the shower pan was up to our ankles , promptly exiting then plunging brought up a baseball sized hair ball from the previous owner . FF Monday Ricardo & Jose we're prompt and professional. They got right to work on the clog. Ricardo knows how to diagnose and when to call in the camera. Ben arrived about 10:30 after Ricardo tried several times to unclog . Upon hydrojetting and further inspection by Ben with the camera down the main line we found an area that the original contractor placed so much pipe glue it leaked through seam dried hard as a rock inside the pipe and has been snagging anything moving by it since the 80's . The pipe is causing the obstruction. It covered about 1/3 interior of pipe and everything was getting snagged on it. The bad news is what we thought a rooter job is now a hole in our guest room closet and pipe replacement, toilet replacement and faucet replacement in same bathroom. Original clog was in our master bath . Since owning this home the guest toilet ran very slow , no pressure in the flush at all. The clog just so happened to be in the other side of this wall . We elected to use closet entry and Ricardo suggested so we didn't have to break the tile floor . The shower stop was broken when we moved in, so we had them replace while they were here . Our home warranty company has been a serious PITA through this ordeal but these guys just keep on pushing on. Ben has experience working with them so he's been an awesome help navigating those calls. I'm more frustrated with our warranty company than anything. The guys cleaned up before they left this evening and will be completing the job tomorrow . fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse . Even though it's been a exhausting day for all of us, I'd recommend this company for any emergency. Service with a smile .
