The world's most peaceful indoor playground. It was so relaxing being here.Everything is a tan calming color, the whole time they play super soothing music and everything is great low stimulation play for kids that keep them genuinely engaged without being overstimulated. So glad we came here today

    Infant fun!

We hosted my 3yr olds birthday party here, it was so amazing. All of the staff were so helpful, it was so relaxing all kids ages 5months up to 10yr had a blast, what I loved most was everyone was playing - not crazy screaming overwhelmed running wild, we added on the slime making for our party and it was a huge hit, each table had a host helping , it was even fun for parents, so many sections to play in, kept our kids entertained for 6hours!!

Me and my family went in for a tour of the playground museum today and all I can say is WOW. 10/10! Will totally recommend! It's beautiful, Clean, Staff is friendly, and there is SOO much for the kids to do. I have a 4 year old and a 20 month old and they were absolutely stoked with all of the activities. My oldest played with slime and had so much fun in the kitchen/grocery store area. They even have a 3 and under area with sensory walls and age appropriate toys. So stinking cute. Only downfall is that it is a little pricey but if you get the membership after a few visits it pays for itself! Can't wait to go back

I loved the La Mesa location. This Santee location is a whole new level of fun!! We went for the grand opening Saturday. It was amazing. They thought of everything my children would love; a jumper, glow room, art area and slime! We stayed all day. Can't wait to come back!! Thank you

Definitely a new favorite place for me and my kids! This indoor playground is amazing for my 2 and 3 year old. They have a blast, it feels clean for now, there is so much to explore, and since it's so new it's hardly busy on the weekdays. I think it's perfect for Littles. My one recommendation is to install non-toxic sanitary wipe stations around each play area, please. I've been to other indoor playgrounds where you see the workers constantly wiping down the toys as the pick them up which is reassuring to see as a parent knowing that these places are definitely germfests. Having the wipe stations would allow parents to help clean or wipe incase something goes in the mouth or gets sneezed on. I've also seen other playgrounds have bins off to the side for parents to throw toys into in case something does get "contaminated." Just some advice. We love this place and truly want to see it thrive since it is sooo fun and much needed in the neighborhood.

    Farming area!!

Took my 2 and 5 year old grandchildren for something to do on a warm day!! So many fun things to do that kept the two of them busy, busy, busy the whole time. Which was heaven for this Grammy!! lol Everything is kept neat and orderly throughout the day (I can only imagine what a monumental task that is!!!). We will definitely be back, might need to offer a membership!!!

This place is amazing!! It is clean, the staff is so friendly and it is clear that every detail was thoughtfully created. There are so many different sensory opportunities available for your littles, the texture on the walls, slime of the day, 2 art areas, a pebble table to dig in, and realistic play foods are just some. The options are endless and we plan on spending many days here in the summer!

A very chatty docent offered me a tour of the normally off-limits restoration hangar, and I enjoyed that. There is a MiG 21 in there under restoration as well as a recently painted yellow T-34 (as I recall). My attention was on the MiG. Outside, there is an interesting lineup of military aircraft, including one of San Diego's own, an F-102. The Atlas missile is also a San Diego product, as is the pedestal-mounted drone. Unfortunately, all the aircraft are showing signs of weather damage, some more than others. At least the canopies have been covered with blue tarps. The placard describing the deep blue Douglas A2D Skyshark indicated that of the 12 aircraft produced, it is the only survivor. Why is this uniquely rare aircraft displayed outside? Can't room be found for it in the Balboa Park location? It's a Navy aircraft with folding wings, so it wouldn't take up much space. It is a restoration facility, as well as a sort of catch-all for miscellaneous artifacts, most of which are aircraft-related. That said, it has a haphazard look about it that perhaps can be improved.

Maritime Museum - Star of India, the world's oldest active sailing ship, a San Diego icon only found at the Maritime Museum of San Diego.

The Maritime Museum of San Diego is honestly one of the most impressive history museums I've…read morevisited because the artifacts are the museum. You aren't just looking at history -- you're surrounded by ships that actually survived it. The Star of India, launched in 1863, survived mutiny, violent storms, collisions at sea, and decades carrying immigrants across dangerous oceans. Some sailors believed the ship was cursed after captains died during early voyages, yet somehow she survived long enough to become the oldest active sailing ship in the world. HMS Surprise shows the brutal reality of naval warfare during the Age of Sail. Ships like this once carried enough cannon firepower to destroy enemy vessels while sailors lived packed below deck surrounded by gunpowder, disease, and fear of battle. The Berkeley steam ferry even helped evacuate survivors during the 1906 San Francisco earthquake while much of the city burned. One of the most fascinating exhibits is the Soviet B-39 submarine from the Cold War. The inside is unbelievably cramped and gives you a real sense of what life was like beneath the ocean during one of the most dangerous periods in modern history. The USS Dolphin may have been my favorite. This experimental deep-diving U.S. Navy submarine helped test advanced underwater technology and launched the deepest-fired torpedo in naval history. The museum also includes the San Salvador, recreating the ship that explored California's coastline in 1542 -- long before America existed as a country. What makes this place incredible is the timeline it creates: 1500s exploration... 1800s global sailing... steam-powered industry... world wars... Cold War submarines... All sitting together in one harbor. This place doesn't just teach maritime history -- it shows how ships shaped exploration, immigration, trade, warfare, and entire empires.

We learned so much. The Museum is well-organized with plenty of memorabilia and artifacts to enjoy. There are several boats to explore. There's also plenty of seating along the boats, to just enjoy the scenery. The Maritime Museum is a must!
