I love this little park. Always clean and super friendly people. Lots of dog walkers and children playing melts my heart. Me and my husband love to come for walks here.

This, as are most of the parks in La Mesa, is built with the mentality of "let's build it 15 years ago and leave it alone." They do keep it clean though. Two things I like at the same time as dislike about this park, as it shares a motto with my life: Keep it hot and keep it dangerous. This park is nestled in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, and it is rarely packed. ***wow: Roller Slide! Tire Swings! Giant sliding pole! ***more wow: Deadly temperatures on the shiny metal! Splintery wood structure! Slippery plastic tire swing sends kids flying to their wood chippy doom! All in a good day's fun.

They recently upgraded this park/play structure. (Check my pictures) Our playgroup likes it a lot. Our kids range from 1.5-3.5 and they all able to handle the structure with ease. I think any children over the age of 6 would probably get really bored with the play structure. Great grassy area for sports though. The parking area is small. The area is clean.

Very nice park. Had fun with the boys. Lots of space to kick a soccer ball around and there was shady spots to stay out of the sun.

The playground is small but there is a nice grass field to play on or play sports. There are bathrooms there and the overall area is clean

I really appreciate all the new additions and renovations. We were out of town for about a month and when we came back, so many of the play stations had been updated. It definitely did not go unnoticed and shows they are investing in the space. One thing I love about this place is how often the staff cleans and reorganizes. No matter how busy it gets, it never feels messy. It also never smells like feet in there, which is honestly a big problem at other indoor playgrounds. The staff does a great job maintaining a clean and pleasant environment. The only downside for us is that our daughter is growing out of it a little too fast. She can get bored if there are not other kids her age to play with. This is truly a great spot for younger children. I do wish they offered an hourly rate instead of requiring a full day pass, because sometimes you just need a quick hour or two to let the kids get their wiggles out. Overall, it is a wonderful, well maintained playground and we will continue recommending it to families with younger kids.

The place is always very clean and the staff are constantly sanitizing, especially after a child leaves a station, which we really appreciate. It is a great place to bring our son and very fulfilling in terms of fun, excitement, and play. It is definitely one of our favorite spots. The staff are always kind and respectful, and it never feels overcrowded. There is always just the right amount of kids and parents to enjoy the space comfortably.

I'd added parks in La Mesa and surrounding areas to my favorites in a map app a while ago,…read moreintending to check them out but hadn't. I was in the area of this park recently, and passed a parking area while driving on Bancroft. I was in need of a restroom so I turned at the first road after and that led to another, smaller parking area. I parked there, found the restroom I needed, then walked around a little bit. The park is on a slope. There is a covered area for family or company picnics@ some sort of a ball court. I walked down the slope to the other parking area. A dog would find plenty to sniff around at, but I didn't see much so I headed back to my truck. The parking area started filling. Some cars and vans with their clients, on outings. Some guy parked next to me was talking to himself and dumped what looked like grocery store dumpster finds out behind his vehicle, I guess to go through them. And commenting on stuff in my direction. Ok, time to go. 10 am by then so I made a mental note to come early again next time.

The park is small but has what is needed. There are BBQ areas and picnic tables as well as some grass and a small playground. There is also some parking available in a lot but you can also park on the street. The playground is fenced in which I really liked but it also has to be fenced in because this park is right on the street, and it's a busy one with a lot of speeders. I was very aware of the closure to the playground ensuring everyone who came and went closed it behind them and if not going to it immediately to make sure it got closed. The playground equipment is small but had some slides the kids liked and a few swings. There are also 2 stationary play cars my boys loved so much. Although the boys had fun here we won't come back because of how close this is to the road. If we aren't in the playground area and we wanted to have a picnic it would be a constant worry and I wouldn't be able to let me kids get more than an arms reach away from me. There are better parks to go to.
