Reasons we love this park
Completely fenced in! This is not to say that we or anyone shouldn't watch their children and use the fence as a form of supervision, but when you have a super active child who wants to explore everything and a baby, it is nice to give your older child a little space to explore and know that if you don't have them on a tight lease they won't get hit by a car.
The area over all is pretty clean and there is a decent amount of shade.
So-So
The structures (one for smaller/younger children and a bigger one for the older kids) are average. Nothing super special.
Someone wrote a hate word on one of the structures. I'm not sure if it has been removed yet or not.
Negatives
The bathrooms/porta pottys, are on the other side of the fence and there is not a way to get to them.
All the college kids park right out front and tend to park super close to other cars making it difficult to move.
*******The city workers are the worst. There are multiple signs there they say to "LEAVE THE GATE CLOSED". Clearly the city doesn't care if you can read or not to have this job nor do you need to follow simple directions. On a number of occasions they just stroll in and leave it open. Thank goodness people keep an eye on their kids but seriously. There are signs there for a reason! The city needs to hire people who can read! read more
