The Caesar salad was probably one of the best Caesar salads I've had. It was light, crisp, and refreshing without feeling overly heavy. We also had the crudo, which was excellent, and the burrata with tomatoes and crispy bread -- so simple but so good. Everyone at the table was loving it. But the pizzas were definitely a highlight for me. I love the square shape and that thick, crispy dough. And the chili oil they give you on the side is SO good. Such a great little touch and definitely something I kept going back to. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a really nice patio and a lovely indoor space. The staff was friendly, they have a great wine list, and we had a delicious Blanc de Blancs sparkling that paired perfectly with dinner. Overall, De La Nonna is just a great restaurant for a relaxed dinner with good food, good wine, and good company. I'm glad I got to come back because I definitely appreciated it even more this time around.

The dough was extremely soft and had a texture more like sliced bread than a properly baked pizza crust. The service was also questionable. The cashier didn't seem familiar with the menu and was trying to handle three different things at once, which made the whole ordering process feel disorganized. Overall, the atmosphere has potential, but the food and service didn't live up to it.

The pizza here is so killer, I was nodding my head(Yes!)as I was eating it. I rarely do this. The crust was so thin, the cheese had great flavor, and the cupped pepperoni added a salty richness. Servers were also very friendly and the interior is cozy and clean. Parking is street parking, good luck. We arrived 5:15pm on a Saturday (15 min after opening) and we didn't get reservations so we had to wait one hour to dine in. We could have gotten it to-go, but there's only 1.5 tables outside where you can stand and eat in front of all the people waiting. Even after getting seated and ordering, it still took a while for the food to arrive. Seating is tight inside and my partner & I were seated at a 4 seat table next to two women, so we couldn't help but listen to their entire conversation about going to therapy & problems with their moms. The princess cake is good but I'm not sure what the hype is. I don't think it's worth $15... I would just stick to the pizza if I come back. I do have to say the pizza is very greasy, so much that it did end up hurting my stomach, but I still enjoyed each bite.

One of the few things that didn't go wrong was finding this spot. The gentleman who was making the pizza (I'm sorry, I didn't get his name, which was rude of me) was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, he treated the other customers with dignity and familiarity, let my partner take video of him doing his dough flipping and was just genuinely pleasant. And then there's the pizza. Holy heck was it good. You know what? Good isn't even close. It was perfect. It was only a basic pepperoni, but what we got for our money was insane. It was prepared with care, baked perfectly, was absolutely HUGE, the cheese and pepperoni were perfectly distributed and the crust was just the right balance; not too thin, not too thick. And the flavor...get out of here. Just awesome. The pepperoni had the right amount of kick, the sauce was both sweet and tangy with a kick of black pepper, the cheese had a wonderfully salty character, but remained succulent. It was absolutely delightful. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza you will not be disappointed if you visit this shop.
