I'm pretty picky about my pizza and this check most boxes for me. I went with a traditional Margherita pizza and it was good. It actually exceeded my expectations considering what you can get in the area. I wish the "undercarriage" of the pie was a bit more cooked and crispy. Also, the sauce was a little underwhelming but still decent nonetheless. We had the oven baked brownie à la mode and it was okay at best. Brownie was really dry and they didn't give you much ice cream to go with it. I would avoid it in all honesty. I will definitely come back and try a different pie and see how it compares to first go around. Okay update. So I've returned 3 days after my first experience and it was way better. My wife and I asked for well done on our pizzas and it was PERFECT. I had the spicy hot honey chicken pie and my wife had the bulgogi. They were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to have them again. The only other comparable customer service I've had that is on this level is from Chick Fil a, and the You Pie staff even goes beyond them. I love the location, across the street from the park I go to often with my kids and super close to the library. I ordered online so I have no opinion on the in store ordering experience. When I arrived at the store was clean and quiet which was nice. There were two young people standing on the employee side of the Order Here sign so I waited a bit as I didn't see a sign for pickup. After a few minutes of me just standing there I walked around to see if I could find a pick up area. Unable to find one I just wait again to be acknowledged and served. Ultimately neither of the young people said a peep (so odd) but after a while an older gentleman came out asked if I needed help and grabbed my pizzas and I was on my way! Literally took seconds so I'm not sure where the disconnect came in before but I digress. This is a stark difference between my Atlanta experience (also served by young people) they were friendly, acknowledged me right away and didn't ignore me. But the pizza? Same as before. I got the 10 in with Alfredo sauce, artichokes, black olives, chicken as sausage with a balsamic glaze drizzle...fire! And my son had the cheese pizza which he dramatically proclaimed it was the best pizza he'd ever had. I don't come to a pizza joint expecting 5 star service but if I could offer a word of advice? Don't create a barrier for people trying to patronize your establishment. A simple "how can I help" could go a long way. But other than that solid pizza and I'd come again.

Okay so. Food: good. Server: great. HOWEVER. For some reason, our server kept having to leave our table prematurely because the GM was telling the floor managers he needs to stop "socializing". First of all, we were trying to order a pitcher of beer and they were out of the first 4 beers we tried to get. So naturally he would go to the bar, put it in, get told they're out, then come back to tell us. A couple other times when we were trying to decide what to get he was trying to help us but then he told to leave our table. He spent maybe two minutes max at a time at our table. He was obviously just doing what he was told, which is understandable. But why was the GM telling the other managers to tell him that? Apparently a petty kitchen employee was telling the GM that our server was solely socializing just to get him in trouble. Regardless of the reasoning, as a paying customer I felt it extremely insulting and disruptive to constantly have my server ripped away from doing his job under the false assumption of "socializing". read more

I do not recommend this place, and my family will not eat here again. My husband and I paid for a Pizza Joint Beer Club membership, and management arbitrarily decided to cut the main benefit of the membership. A refund request was denied; the manager I spoke to said, "It is still a fair deal", like that means anything at all. I suppose making a promise through a contract to a customer, not to mention keeping your word as a business, means very little to the management there. There have been several incidents with us and with friends where this restaurant cut corners on "specials" that they offer, especially the "Beer Me Tuesday". I completely respect a business's desire to make a profit, but that profit should come by offering a good product at a good price, not by trickery, lying, and deception. Bottom line, I will not patronize a restaurant where I see business practices that I consider to be unethical. read more

I here how "amazing" Pizza Joint is all the time...only, I have never been that impressed..I guess it is what it is...a pizza place in a very noisy, confusing atmosphere. Service is just so-so...every server we've ever had has always been very nice and tried very hard...I just think the main problem is as far as servers go, they run about "half-staffed".... if you are going to open your doors to as many people they serve at a time, they really should consider staffing for that many people. The food is average--they do have some choices you can't get anywhere else & they will custom build pretty much whatever you want..but other than that, nothing really "amazing". read more

Every time I go to Pizza Joint, I always get pizza. It is always good, too. But my boyfriend and I tried something a little different : he had a spicy chicken calzone and I had a Mediterranean Stromboli. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server, while not very attentive, was funny and sweet. The food, however, did take about 45 minutes to arrive, but the dough and every thing is cooked fresh and made to order, so I can't really complain. The atmosphere is always fun and if you go at slower hours, even a little romantic since it is quiet. My boyfriend was also really excited about the dozens of beers they have on tap. read more

This is the place that price gouged loyal customers during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene last year when people were without power and some without homes. Other businesses stepped up to help out their neighbors during this difficult time. It was the worst natural disaster in the history of this area. Pizza Joint Evans decided instead to take advantage of advantage of this situation by doubling the price of their pizzas and tacking on an additional carryout charge. Businesses like this don't deserve your money. Plenty of other places nearby with better pizza that are more ethical. read more
