We got the seasoned beef nachos, and 2 platters with ribs, burnt ends, brisket and sides. The nachos were average. They were Good but nothing special. The meat was all very tender and the sauces were delicious. The brisket was so tender and the ribs were very meaty. The burnt ends weren't very burnt though and were a little disappointing. The Mac and cheese was good but we would not recommend the baked beans. The cornbread was also delicious. The service was very slow and we waited quite a long time to order and be served. Over all would go back on a weeknight maybe when they are less crowded.

They have both a BBQ and a Polish specialties section and, unable to decide between the choices, we got both the Polish Dish (a combo for only $10?!) and the more "expensive" of the BBQ combo plates ($13 compared the other $11 and $12 combo options). The Polish Dish has pierogi, kielbasa, sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage and a side of rye bread and sour cream - we got this one with the optional mustard and horseradish. For the BBQ we got brisket (soooo good) and steak tips. The sides were beans and mac and cheese (all small but good) and cornbread. This dish allowed you to pick two sauces, so I did! Somehow we got a bag of chips on top of this - daily special? No idea but will enjoy those when I make up the leftovers in a sandwich. We will 100% be back.

First off I will help you by saying the beer is probably the worst I have ever had from any brewery and I have been to many and I mean many over my life. Secondly, they can't handle any social media criticism. I recently left a review of a show saying it wasn't very good but praised the atmosphere even though the beer is awful. They took it down not only once but twice. A real establishment would say something like "Im sorry we didnt live up to your standards" but no, like cowards they deleted it because they didnt want other people to see it. Very unprofessional. So here I am. The beer is a Negative star and the staff a one star and they only get that because the parking attendant was nice.

We paid our first visit to CPC today, and really enjoyed the food…read more COVID has all but closed the dining room, and the big sheets of plexiglass between you and the masked counterpersons are a sad reminder of where we are today. However, despite all those necessary adjustments, CPC dished up some terrific barbecue for us. We ordered a brisket plate ($15) and pulled pork plate ($13) to go. Each plate came with a slab of cornbread and your choice of 2 sides. We selected sweet potato fries, mac and cheese, Baked BBQ beans, and cheese grits. The meals were served with 2 containers of BBQ sauce -Sweet St. Louis and Tangy Memphis. We made up a few combination plates for dinner tonight, and both of us agreed that the food was very good. Let's start with the meat, because, after all, this is a BBQ place. I liked the brisket a lot, once you trimmed the slices, they were very lean, very meaty, very tasty and plain old excellent. The slices were on the thicker side, but I didn't mind that one bit. The pork was tender and juicy and full of flavor. I added some of that Sweet St. Louis sauce to my plate, and it was great, with tons of flavor and no heat. I sampled three of the sides and thought the Gold Medal Winner was the mac and cheese. It had a luxurious texture and was loaded with cheesy goodness. The grits were excellent too. My wife and I split opinions on the cornbread, I liked it more than she did, and I think that's because it wasn't as sweet or as moist as the cornbread we've had in the past at various BBQ joints.. We also picked up two pieces of smoked salmon we'll target for dinner this week. All of that ran us less than $40, so we think the value is pretty darned good. The location is gorgeous, you are right next to the North Pond Marina of Lake Congamond so you can watch the boats from their outdoor patio if you're in the mood to do some people and boat watching. I'm sure we will be back because the BBQ options around here are few and far between.

The pork was cooked perfectly. No sauce or rub on it but it came with 2 different BBQ sauces, one was a Carolina Gold style and another that seemed to be Kansas City style. I am a Carolina fan and was not disappointed at all. It really brought it all together. The slaw had a very nice kick to it. The cornbread and hush puppies were a little on the dry side but had good flavor. The collard greens did let me down as I am used to more hamhock or bacon flavor, however it was not a deal breaker for me. l am looking forward to my next visit here.

It has a cool vibe with lots of vintage looking signage on the walls including locally inspired ones. We ordered the nachos with chicken and they were really good. I had the bacon jam burger which was delicious! The burger was fresh beef, again, not frozen, which is a huge thing for me! The bacon jam wasn't too sweet. Really nice. My wife had the hot honey chicken sandwich which she really enjoyed. They have a great selection of beers on tap as well as cans/bottles. Not sure if that was the telling sign but for a rainy Saturday afternoon I would expect someone in here. Few people did show up after I ordered so that was good. Ordered that with a side of beans, brussels sprouts and a key lime pie to finish off the meal afterwards. Nothing I had screamed I need to come back soon. The pastrami did look good in one of the pictures here on Yelp, and a couple of gentlemen who showed up later order chicken sandwiches and I overheard them saying they were chicken sandwich connoisseurs and it was very good. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I was happy about the service. Went to dinner tonight and never experienced anything like this before…read more First off the place had 2 people dining In it to start at 6pm on a Sunday. Second our wings came out let's talk about Jumbo they definitely were not Jumbo they were little petite size with some horseradish on side. Didn't realize after that if you want blue cheese it's $1 a piece. Next the main event well food was cold- Mac n cheese cold. Ribs were hard and dry. Burnt ends dry. I am not sure what you call the baked beans but they were terrible. We were a party of 12 and 3 of us told them to take the food back it was that bad. They remade some ribs but they were no better. Than on top of this the manager never came out to address us with the issue of our food and why we took our plates back. So after waiting for awhile for our bill we finally get it and they tried to charge us for the 3 plates we didn't eat and sent back. The waitress went and got the manager who approaches the table not to say hello can I help you but to say I hear you are refusing to pay for your food Well we Beginning to tell him what happened so he repeats so your skipping out on your bill. So we started to say the people that ate and kept there good will pay he repeats so your skipping out on the whole bill. At this time we said we are not but if you feel that way call the police. Which is what he did. Advised them we are trying to not pay for our food. The police arrive and we explain everything to them. Tell me why the 3 meals now were not on the bill anymore. Funny huh. I truly will tell you that this establishment treated us unfairly. I feel like this was a racial issue considering we were 10 black people and 2 white people by the way he spoke to us and treated us. The two officers that came agreed with us and we paid our bill and left. This place should truthfully take smokehouse off the sign cause there is no smokehouse happening at this place. No smell of BBQ no taste of BBQ and definitely no good BBQ. I wouldn't waste your money at all at this place and let me tell you. Our lawyers are definitely going to be in contact with you on how unjust we were treated
