I LOVE this cafe!! It has the most comforting vibes and it's definitely stuck in the 90s which I love. The service is always a 10 when I come no matter the day nor time. Their biscuits and gravy are legendary but my favorite is their GIANT cinnamon roll. It's so big you can share with 4 people easily as I shared it with 3 people at one time and we were full and it wasn't fully ate! Definitely worth a visit (: P.s. I do hope they'll stop microwaving the cinnamon roll to heat up and just thrown into the oven for a few mins to prevent the frosting separation

We stopped in for a combination of breakfast and lunch. We got there about 11 and it was fairly busy, but there were tables available. The service was efficient and very pleasant. After looking at the menu, we ordered the 2 x 2 x 2 with scrambled eggs, link sausage and half a biscuit and gravy as well as their BLT salad. We got our food within 10 minutes. As you can see by the accompanying pictures, the salad was huge. As well as being large, it was also very very good. Different lettuce varieties and a good amount of bacon and chicken. The breakfast item was also very good. We recommend this place and will stop by again whenever we're in Payson.

This was such a cute little mom-and-pop restaurant tucked away in a small Arizona town on our way back to Colorado. It had that cozy, small-town charm that makes you feel right at home the second you walk in. I ordered the chili and cornbread to start -- the chili was phenomenal! It had just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without being too much. And the cornbread... oh my goodness, mouth-watering doesn't even begin to describe it. For my meal, I had eggs, toast, and sausage -- everything tasted homemade, like something your mom would whip up in her kitchen on a Sunday morning. Truly comfort food at its best. The service was great -- friendly and welcoming -- and the inside was exactly what you'd expect from a small-town café: super cute, quaint, and full of charm. If you're passing through, this spot is definitely worth stopping for. Delicious food, kind people, and that cozy hometown feel!

Have not been to the Pinon Cafe since it was called the Knotty Pine Cafe many years ago! Had a nice breakfast, chicken fried steak with home made biscuit. Order came with two eggs and home fried potatoes. Friend enjoyed the corn beef hash. Service as good. Ambience is pure country. Coffee was hot. All good here!

Best cinnamon roll in Arizona!! Change my mind! It is always fresh and consistent in flavor! You will spend $10 for it however it can feed 3-4 people.

This place has a real mom-and-pop café feel. The food is delicious, and the cinnamon roll is absolutely ginormous. Usually when cinnamon rolls are that big, the edges are dry and you only want the center -- but that wasn't the case here. The whole thing was soft, fresh, and delicious from edge to center. They're also very accommodating. If you want a half order, we absolutely loved that this way we could try a couple things each something sweet, something savory., they're more than happy to work with you. Everyone was very nice, the place was clean, and overall it was a great experience. I'd definitely come back!

This the best lil breakfast spot around! Friendliest staff in town where you feel at home

Has a great time after some snurr boarding (snow boarding) a friend in town recommended this cafe and we loved it! The burgers are really good and the fries are crunchy and taste like everything else they throw in the fryer (which I like) I do have regrets not getting the pancakes like my fellow yelp elite Jon but the biscuits and gravy were ok. (I would not get them again) Oooo also side note sometimes they use canned items so if you're not sure if you want to order something they can get you a sample. I wanted a soup but was a little cautious and got a sample thank goodness I did because I think it was Campbells a little dressed up lol Regardless the food is good the staff is welcoming and happy. I wish I had room for a cinni but I'll have to come back next time I'm in town.

Perfectly homestyle breakfast food! Portion sizes were huge for the price point, and everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. My biggest regret is not trying one of their GIANT cinnamon rolls that they were frosting as we were leaving.

The service was fast friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. The Elvis was amazing. Not too sweet. The atmosphere was cozy country. John 3:16 on the bottom of the menus. Everyone working there was friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. The cashier gave of great recommendations on places to visit in town and things to do nearby. We will definitely return whenever we are in the Payson area.

There's something about starting a day in the mountains with a small-town diner that just feels right. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. They were especially kind to our daughter, chatting with her and making her feel like she belonged there. As a parent, those little moments don't go unnoticed. The food is classic diner breakfast in the very best way possible. No gimmicks. No unnecessary twists. Just breakfast done well. My wife and I both ordered the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a side of bacon. My daughter went with a waffle topped with whipped cream and strawberry preserves, while my father-in-law also opted for the biscuits and gravy. Everything came out fresh, hot, and exactly how you'd hope a breakfast cooked on a seasoned griddle would. The coffee stayed hot, the service never skipped a beat, and the entire meal felt like the perfect start to a day outdoors. Beeline Cafe isn't trying to reinvent breakfast. It's preserving the kind of local diner experience that's becoming harder and harder to find. It's a local favorite for a reason, and after our visit, I completely understand why.

What a lovely start to the day!…read more Enjoyed a wholesome American breakfast while entertained by at least 20 small planes coming and going from the Payson Airport. Arrived at 8:30 am on a Saturday, and while the place was busy but we were seated at a corner window quickly. Service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed one of the lightest, fluffy pancakes I've ever had with tasty thick bacon. My husband lauded the hash-browns. The tables are cute - laminated with little cards promoting local business. Bonus: picked up pies to share with our crew for dinner. Enjoyed talking with the baker that was taking a break outside watching the planes. Seems like most of the staff have been working here a long time. I'd say this is a don't miss...

The…read moreoverall experience felt rushed, as though the goal was to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible to free up tables. The waitresses were friendly, but seemed a bit frustrated when we asked for a few extra things, like extra napkins or refills. I understand how hectic it can get during a rush, but it made us hesitant to ask for anything else. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The bacon was hard and dried out, more like it had been reheated one too many times than properly cooked crispy. My over-medium eggs came out over-hard, and one set of utensils was dirty. I didn't bother mentioning the food because the service already felt stretched thin, and we were ready to leave. The seating is also pretty cramped, with tables and chairs packed close together, which added to the feeling of being rushed. It's a shame because the restaurant has a great panoramic view of the runway, but I noticed that hardly anyone seemed to have time to enjoy it or watch the planes taking off and landing. One positive is that the place attracts a real mix of people, from pilots and locals to families, bikers, and tourists. It has the potential to be a fun, unique breakfast spot. Maybe things are more relaxed on a weekday, but between the rushed atmosphere and mediocre food, our experience wasn't enough to bring us back. There are plenty of other good breakfast spots in the area, and while the runway view is a nice bonus, it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience.

I love that they even have games for children, which makes it a great place for families. Unfortunately, the service really brought down our experience. My fork was dirty, and our waitress was rudely walking away while I was still talking to her. The restaurant wasn't even busy, so there really wasn't a reason for the service to feel so rushed and unwelcoming. Honestly, it just seemed like the employees weren't happy to be there. It's disappointing because the food, prices, and atmosphere have so much going for them. With better customer service and employees who seem happy to be there, this place could be amazing! Maybe we just caught them on an off day, and I'd love to see them turn things around because the potential is definitely there.

They don't have quite the selection of the other place, but the food is very good. My only criticism would be. There was not much in the way of carrots left by the time we got there on Sunday and they put the guacamole on the chips instead of giving it to you on the side. So the chips got sort of soggy by the time we got home. I will definitely have the shrimp tacos again. It was delicious and my son was very pleased with his Carne Asada tacos with guacamole. We also had a Carne Asada quesadilla and the famous chips with the guacamole already on them. Everything tasted very good. The inside is not anything fancy, but there's a few seats and there's a salsa bar with really nice salsa, limes, and if you can go when they are not out of carrots, there are carrots. I wished that their pickled carrots had more garlic in them. So I guess that would be my second criticism or more of a suggestion. The people there are very nice and if you can find the place you should go.
