Our daughters attended CCP for 2 years. The curriculum and teachers were wonderful. The director runs a well organized and structured preschool. I felt she worked with me, as a working mom who sometimes ran late or needed to change the days my children went (mid-year). We had a very negative experience with this school. They do not communicate well with parents and they are constantly changing teachers. Both of my kids had 4+ teachers each during their 5-6 months in attendance. There were frequently times when my son couldn't even tell us his teachers name and we didn't even know that it had changed. I then showed up on a Tuesday at 5pm and their belongings were packed by the front door with a letter stating that my son was no longer welcome. We had no notice and no indication that he was in jeopardy of expulsion prior to this. As a two parent working household this was a struggle in the middle of the month, middle of the week, and 1 week before the beginning of my sons preK year. In the end we are so grateful to have moved on to a better place, but if you are considering your childcare options I would encourage you to keep looking. read more

My daughter went here from when she was almost 2 through Pre-K. We love this school so very much, it became one of our favorite places to be. The teachers & staff are all wonderful and she made lasting friendships that she even had come to her birthday party this year now that she's in kindergarten. The curriculum is amazing for each age group and set her up for success in grade school, she is ahead of the curve now. They also have a lot of fun in the classrooms and created beautiful art everyday that was sent home and we loved decorating our fridge with. She always had wonderful stories to share about what happened each day. Our family highly recommends this school. I am currently pregnant with our second child and will definitely be enrolling her into the school when she gets a little older. read more

The school has a great curriculum and wonderful atmosphere. The teachers are amazing and very hands on. It all ends there though. The director is one of the rudest people I've met. She is a micro-manager and expects children (who aren't even 2 years-old) to be on strict nap schedules. If your child doesn't nap, you better be ready to leave work and pick them up in the middle of the day. She will then tell you that by law, your 1 year-old must be napping! read more

Before attending Colleyville Christian Preschool, we had a negative experience with another preschool that will go unnamed. Needless to say, I was leery of sending my son to preschool at all and very selective at where we sent our son. I was ecstatic when my son warmed to the school immediately and he has become attached to every teacher that he has come to know. The curriculum is extensive and the growth is so noticeable from day to day. The warmth and devotion that the director and each staff member shows toward the kids is unparalleled. read more

Colleyville Christian has been a great blessing to our family! My son went through their program and flourished. I loved the staff and how friendly and loving they always were. I never worried about leaving him and knew he was having lots of fun and learning about the Bible. Academically, he was ahead of his class when he entered first grade and has continuously tested above grade level. I know this is greatly due to his advanced start at CCS. My 5 yr old daughter went to this school for 2 1/2 yrs and all the teachers were just wonderful. When she started kindergarten this year, she was so beyond her skill set for that age that they had her tested. I attribute this to the curriculum taught at Colleyville Christian pre-school. Also my 2 yr old boy now goes to school here and is just so so happy...the teachers and administration are so kind and loving. They send him home with a daily report card of what he learned and how his nap was, how many times he went potty, etc. Very detailed, very clean school. Highly recommend! read more

My daughter attended Colleyville Christian School since she was 20 months old all the way to Kindergarten and I could not be more thankful for the loving care the staff provides. I researched lots of other places before choosing this one, I literally had paid for enrollment somewhere else; but when I met this school I knew this was the place for us! And I was right! This is not a franchise, this is a family owned business that cares about every detail! The Director, Ms Diane, is always there to make sure the kids are being treated with care and respect. Ms Stephanie (who has her first and last teacher, how awesome is that?!) is absolutely the best! My daughter still talks about her! In addition to all that, my daughter is soooo advanced in her reading and math!! I cannot say enough about how much we love Colleyville Christian and can't wait to get my new baby there!!! read more

My son attended Colleyville Christian School for Pre-K and Kinder and he is now in 3rd grade. Before Kinder, we moved to East Dallas and made the drive all the way to Colleyville because we did not want to leave this gem of a school! (In fact, I asked if they would open a 2nd location!) When we first toured the school, I was extremely impressed at the set-up. There are shelves upon shelves of books, plenty of educational games and toys, and, my favorite part is the village. The school has a village set up with a post-office, store, and other places to teach the kids life skills! Incredibly important and rarely found in standard schools let alone Pre-K. When we first spoke to the Director, she mentioned that not only was an academic curriculum critical, but teaching kids how to raise their hands, stand in line, and other skills needed for a successful transition to elementary - well, I was sold. Yes, there are rules and standards that must be met, but in my opinion, that only helps children understand how to navigate through life. I, personally, prefer expectations over coddling. My son had the most wonderful experience, and as parents, so did we. They have a perfect blend of curriculum and creativity. The kids learned about various cultures around the globe through language and cuisine, important artists, architecture, and history. It was incredibly enriching for my child and can only imagine it has gotten better over the years. The teachers and staff are the most loving and wonderful people who have helped me raise a polite and well-behaved young man, and I have to believe that his kindness and consideration was heavily influenced by the staff at CCS. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for the time our son spent at the school. He made lifelong friends and we still remain in touch today. read more

This is a good school if your child is perfect. If your child colors outside of the lines or need individual attention it is not a good fit. The teachers are excellent and really care about the children however the director has no tolerance for children who need extra help to be successful. read more

My child attended the sister school in Southlake with the same owner and director and we loved it at first. However, we went back to school after the spring break closure to find that the school had been sold to another company with a completely different curriculum and philosophy. The previous owner made no attempt to inform all parents or even all of the staff of this sale. This was the most unprofessional thing I have ever been a part of. There was no warning or even discussion that this was a possibility and I had to find out as I was dropping my child off to strangers on my way to work. We had also already paid for the entire month of March and this change occured in the middle of the month so this money was just wasted because when transferring my child to a new school, the new school wanted payment for the remaining weeks of the month. read more

My daughters attend Colleyville Christian School and we are blown away every day at how much they are learning. It is a fun, safe environment and my girls absolutely love attending everyday. Even on days they do not attend they ask if they can go. They are not only learning their letters, numbers, reading, etc. but learning so much about Jesus. They know Bible stories, worship songs, and have memorized scripture. The teachers and directors truly care about each and every child at the school. It is not a corporate owned school so it has a very warm, loving, Christian atmosphere. They do lots of special events for the children like the petting zoo, nature days, snow cones, mini-train rides, etc. Their motto is "excellence in Chrisitan education" and it is 100% true. I love that it truly is a preschool- not a daycare- they are learning all day not being babysat. I highly recommend this school and just cannot say enough about it. I am aware of the sister school being sold in Southlake (menioned in another review) - however, my understanding is that the curriculum, philosophy and teachers and staff all remained the same. It is also my understanding that the Southlake location was sold because the owner's husband was extremely ill and in ICU last winter and she simply couldn't manage both campus alone. read more
