My daughter loves her coaches at Tempest! She used to do gymnastics so it's a great fit for her.

Funny to learn parkour and flip and the coaches are nice to the kids and the events are fun to go to in an Academy to learn how to free run

Terrible gym. Incompetent and rude staff. First time I've been kicked off a machine in 30 years of…read moreworking out in gyms across the world...literally while in the middle of my set by an employee unracking my weights and telling me to get off cause they are moving the exact machine I was currently using,.. I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. Canceled my family's membership and never going back to this dump.

The instructors and the trainers are top-notch! They are very well trained and totally love what they do. Every single class that I attend, couldn't be any better! I walk in with excitement and walk out feeling extremely accomplished because of the care that I get from each and every person at Lifetime. The staff care so much about presenting a clean and perfect gym! it is so nice when you can have an all in one gym with a life spa and a life café! I use it all! Melissa McCasland runs our Aurora Family Group. She puts in 110% Every single day and makes working out SO MUCH FUN! If I can give Lifetime 10 STARS...I WOULD THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Unfortunately, the basketball courts are consistently treated as repurposable "shared space" for camps, birthday parties, and other non-basketball programming, while other dedicated areas like pickleball, yoga, and cycle studios maintain far more protected use. Ruthie Cooper, Lead General Manager, also stated that as of May 22, the courts will be reserved for Summer Camp from 7am to 6pm daily, plus a 15-minute grace period, further limiting member access. The courts themselves are often poorly maintained and not cleaned to the standard expected from a premium club. Many long-time basketball members have voiced concerns, but access continues to shrink despite strong and consistent participation. While local staff have been professional in communication, the overall handling of basketball member needs has been disappointing and does not reflect the experience many of us believed we were paying for.

The atmosphere gives the impression that if you are older, overweight, or simply not part of the young crowd, you are made to feel unwelcome and discouraged from coming in. Instead of treating all paying members with respect, the environment often feels selective, judgmental, and unnecessarily hostile toward older adults. :::writing{variant="social_post" id="46192"} As an older adult in my 50s/60s, I feel genuinely concerned and disappointed by the way my wife and I have been treated at EōS Fitness. It honestly feels like this gym only wants younger people under 30 and makes older members feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Back in 2023, I opened a membership for both of us during a promotion they were offering for around $10. On our very first visit, we were immediately stopped at the entrance and given a hard time. Because of how uncomfortable the experience felt, we verbally cancelled the membership on the spot and left the gym. We never returned after that day. Despite this, the cancellation was apparently never processed, and I continued being charged for months afterward until I finally stopped the charges myself. What makes this situation even more concerning is that this gym clearly tracks unpaid accounts and blocks people from entering if payments are not current. Their system immediately flags accounts if there is a balance issue. So it makes no sense that they continued charging and eventually claimed I was "in collections" years later even though we had stopped going entirely after verbally cancelling. A year later, my wife decided to give the gym another chance and opened a new membership under her name for both of us. Since then, almost every visit has become stressful. We barely even attend -- less than once a week -- yet every time we walk in, we are stopped, questioned, and treated as if there is always some kind of issue with our account. Meanwhile, younger members walk in freely without being questioned at all. After nearly a year of these repeated confrontations, it honestly feels like discrimination against older adults. We are paying members and still made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome every single time we enter. On top of that, there were ongoing billing issues involving charges appearing in different places/accounts for the same membership, and despite repeated attempts to fix the situation, nobody properly resolved it. The final incident happened when I was suddenly told I was "in collections" over an issue from 2024 despite having an active membership that had been paid for almost a year. The employee who stopped us, Maddy Barrios, refused to provide any information about management or who we could contact to file a complaint. We repeatedly asked for a manager's name, phone number, or corporate contact information, and she refused to provide anything, stating that she was the highest authority at the gym. I truly hope the owners understand that older adults deserve the same respect and welcoming environment as younger members. Many people in their 50s and 60s are financially stable, loyal paying customers, and should not be treated as though they are unwanted at the gym entrance. :::
