Not only that, but also they insisted on a midday appointment with zero flexibility (if I had days off, I wouldn't need a school). I don't need your facility to tell me to find "other therapies" because all other properly trained Montessori instructors felt adequately "equipped to handle" my child. No questions were asked as to how my sons autism presents itself. Just an immediate dismissal. Her assumptions, presumptions, tone and lack of self control when speaking to me what's ghastly. I would like to respond to Sue M's response to my review. I am not a "random or not so random"…read moreperson. My granddaughter attends this daycare and upon enrollment, we asked if management was able to hear the audio since we were made aware that we as parents could not. This is not "inside" info. Maybe that's a question you should think to ask your future daycare providers, as I'm certain there will be more than a couple. I am by no means invalidating your experience. I stand by my comment that you should be ashamed, not for posting the review, but for name dropping employees AND calling them racist. You do not know these people. It is one thing to leave a bad review since you obviously had a bad experience, but name dropping and calling people racist is a totally different scenario. Your review will follow these employees should they seek other opportunities. And for the record, my granddaughter is not 100% white and we have had zero problems. Just thought I'd throw that out there before you make assumptions as to the race of my granddaughter. I would like to address the previous review given by Sue M. Sue M's review infuriates me for several reasons. My granddaughter attends this daycare and we have had zero problems. It is diverse and the staff are amazing. If I were Emma or any one else you name dropped, I would personally file a law suit against you for defamation of character. Your child attended this facility for all of two months. You do not know them. At all. You should be ashamed. It is my understanding the management has access to the audio recordings for the classrooms. Have you asked them to review the footage? Have you even considered the possibility that your child is not being truthful? In this review you definitely sound like the "my child can do no wrong" parent. You should consider removing this review. Just my opinion. Hope you and your family can find a daycare to meet your standards. Good luck in the future.

So If they can not even find my child's records or application in the system, how can we rely on them to really care for our children for 8 hours a day?? I worked with Hannah about 2 months prior to starting my child at this daycare and provided her application form, payment details and my child's vaccination records, but she forgot to run the application as well as she forgot to put my child on waiting list. When I called a week prior before starting my child, Jennifer (the director) answered the call and she was not able to find my child's application. Since Hannah was not available, she had me waiting until Hannah comes in. Hannah returned my call and told me that she forgot to run the application and put my child on waiting list so now I have to wait for another two months before my child can start daycare there. With all of that she was not even apologetic and the director did not even have courtsey to call me back or apologize. I was so much relying on them and now I have to look for other daycares who can take my child in just one week. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Well, I do not know where to even start. My ex husband (and FBI Special Agent) chose this facility…read moreand enrolled them by Mrs. Jaimie Cain, the director at that time. Mrs. Cain- Preemptively enrolled my children in this daycare even though my ex and I share 50/50 custody and everything went down hill from there. ( They are only profit driven at least at this location) The kids continue to tell me that there is never any soap refilled in the dispensers and therefore my children were coming home sick every other week because basic safety features were not followed. Moving forward- The accounting department knew we were 50/50 custody and I asked a number of times to type up two different accounts so my ex (The FBI Special Agent) and I can keep our billing different. Things got progressively worse here and we came to a head when Mrs. Cain didn't know my children's whereabouts, even though they ride the CLA busses. How is this safe?? I own and operate a small business myself and I would never care for my patients the way CLA care for their children and respective families. I am a doctor and I am appalled that Mrs. Cain did not follow the divorce decree from day 1 and went by the verbal consent of my ex Mr. FBI Special Agent. I cannot speak any worse of this facility. My girls were called into the office and nothing was ever documented if it made the center look bad. Clearly, this business is profit driven and I will not cower to speak my mind just because my ex-husband Mr. FBI SPECIAL AGENT TRIED TO TRUMP ME and the school didn't follow our divorce decree. Ironically- Mrs. Jaimie Cain has stepped down and now they are under a different management. Only in Texas could this occur- when we all lived in DC things were much more professional and buttoned up. Sincerely, Sandhya Sharma LPC CACII EMDR

The Director and the Director of the Preschool make an effort to know the names of all parents and family members. I visited several other area care centers in the area before I chose CCY. I found that the larger places offered more "activities" for the bigger kids, but that the infant areas were cramped and seemed like an afterthought. At CCY, the preschool building feels like more like a home setting and there are multiple, flexible settings for the infants and toddlers that the directors adjust depending on the number of kids they're dealing with. The rooms are bright and clean and full of developmentally appropriate toys. There are daily notification reports on what the kids ate, how they slept (and potty notes) and activities they did. There are extra notifications that come home if there are any incidents (skinned knees, someone whacked someone else with a toy hard enough to leave a mark, etc.). As the mother of several children who have been in all kinds of care situations including in my own care in the summer, I am well aware that bumps, bruises and colds will happen. It's part of life with little people. I feel every time anything has happened with my little it was handled professionally and with care. The directors also plan activities that make it more like a private school setting (which it is for the private kindergarten); book fairs, parents night out, fall festival, picture day, theme weeks, etc. Our family loves CCY and I know my littlest loves it because most evenings it take some coaxing to get him to leave.  I have been a teacher for almost a decade in one of the area's best high schools. My older kids go to one of the area's best private schools. For my littlest, I chose Children's Courtyard and choose to every year because I think it's the best preschool in the area.

This is my kids' second daycare, so a lot of my opinions are based on a comparison of the two…read moredaycares my kids went to. I just love this place and everyone who works there. I switched my kids to this daycare because there seemed to be more structure in their schedules, and my son was especially unhappy about attending his old school every day. I was shocked when, on day 2 of attending Southlake Early Care, my son did not have a meltdown about being dropped off and just casually walked into his classroom, excited to see what everyone was up to. He didn't even turn around to say goodbye to me. He is just so happy to come here every day. At the old school, some days he would come home with the same diaper he had on when I dropped him off. They were under the impression that he was potty trained, when he was actually still working on it. But at Southlake Early Care, he was consistently reminded and helped in using the bathroom. He is now completely potty trained (for daytime) and doesn't wear pull ups during the day at all. As for my daughter, at her old school, she was getting one 20-minute nap for the whole day because they did not have a consistent nap schedule for all the babies. When we moved her to Southlake Early Care, I was a little wary about how they get all the babies in the room to nap at the same time. But they do. She now naps at least two hours every day, and she is so much more lively and happy in the evenings at home. One day, when I dropped her off after a long weekend, she ran straight to her teacher, who was sitting on the floor playing with the other babies. She jumped into her arms and gave her a big hug. It makes me so happy to see that my kids have a connection with the people I trust to take care of them all day. The staff are also very friendly and easy to talk to. They know my name, always ask how things are going, and they instantly know which kids are mine (unlike previous school). Oh and it is cheaper than most other daycares!!! Not only is it cheaper, but they also include supplies -- diapers, wipes, formula, all meals, etc. You can also tell that their teachers are happy to be there, which was not the same at the previous daycare. From what I can tell, Southlake Early Care treats their teachers well, and it makes the kids happier, too.

Teachers are well taken care of which means they'll take care of your children too. There were a couple of times that a teacher could be nominated to go on a cruise for their efforts. This place is very clean, cutely decorated, and well monitored for safety. The director and assistant directors are excellent. They are friendly, helpful, and very professional. They make a point to be sure to greet you when you come in and go out. It feels like a family here. My children have always felt loved by staff...literally knew that they were loved and important. They us Conscious Discipline and help children to recognize the importance of learning to manage emotions at an early age. They always have developmentally fun activities going on. They serve healthy meals and my children love to eat fresh fruit and veggies. In fact, I was about to serve a build your own taco and as I set out the ingredients, my daughter was asking for the ranch because we was excited and hoping for a salad at age 5. My first requirement in childcare was looking for a place that teaches the Bible and are unafraid to pray or talk about God. This place does incorporate some faith into their childcare curriculum. My children are school age now and they wanted to come back for their summer care program, which we love. They go on trips twice a week to places that we can't always make time to go to as a family so I enjoy hearing about their experiences. If you're on the fence, schedule a tour and get your application. It's beyond worth it!

I can walk into the director Heathers office at anytime either at drop off or pick up. No matter what chaos she may be dealing with, her demeanor is always the same: welcoming, cheerful, compassionate and an overwhelming sense of love for her job. Everyday at pickup, I watch every child say goodnight Ms Heather with either a wave or a smile. There was an incidence where my daughter was being bitten by another student. Ms Heather had called me and when I expressed my concerns, assured me that an action plan was set in place and resolution was on the rise. My daughter's teacher along with the other staff members helped me with potty training. I asked them what they were doing at school to obtain so much success and mirrored that same behavior at home. My daughter is fully potty trained now and has moved up to the next class. My daughter is definitely a picky eater. She's only ever eaten mac and cheese and chicken nuggets only because I called them Dino nuggets. When I asked her teacher how she was getting her to eat other foods, she told me that she encourages all the kids to at least take a bite and if they truly don't like it, they can discard the bite into a napkin. This is a technique that I have incorporated at home. There are a few staff members that my daughter is partial to. One being Mr Ian. All the kids are draw to him like a magnet. There are echos of look at me Mr Ian or Mr Ian can you come play with me?? Ms Hunter is fairly new to the staff. Probably within the last 2 months or so. She's the office manager and has a presence about her. When my daughter sees her, it's always a shriek of joy! She runs to Ms Hunter who always has open arms for a Huge hug. As a parent, you always want to make sure that your child enjoys who they spend time with the majority of the day. I absolutely would recommend that you bring your child here to be cared for by the TLE Staff.

We set up an appointment and met with Angie the next day. Now, there are some 1 star reviews (hidden, for good reason) and I can only laugh...how can you bash Angie and the owners?! I am honestly the most introverted socially awkward person and usually come off as rude just because being peppy and talkative isn't my thang....however Angie was always been super sweet to me, answers any questions I have and always has something nice to say to me or my son when we come in. I can't even believe someone would say anything bad about these people, even the owners say hi and made special accommodations for my sons schedule. As for the curriculum, my son is in EPSII now, and the projects that I see and the things they do in class seem age appropriate to me. This place is a BILLION time better then Kids R Kids. The teachers have been working there for years, seem happy and not agitated and most of all, my son is progressing! I can barely even get him to come home with me. Immensely better and wide variety of toys and crafts and sensory things vs. Kids R Kids. Even the "report card" I received was filled out and quite a few paragraphs about things the teachers have been working on specifically with my son and how he is doing. I'll admit, when I found Kids R Kids I was impressed with all the gadgets and how you can log in and watch your kid from your phone...but my son was so unhappy and the "teachers" were just a revolving door of college kids or unhappy adults. Not to mention way more expensive then this place! I don't need to "login" to watch my kid, to know if he is happy, healthy and learning...I can see it when I pick him up! They also fill out his daily Tadpole report very thoroughly!
