When we came across Silver Spoon and spoke to the owner Jeanine, I knew we wanted to use their service for our special day. She was kind and comforting on the phone while being the upmost professional. As for the food everything was wonderful we did a menu more like a bbq and added lobster rolls to the mix (I love lobster & husband loves bbq) but the number one thing on their menu that I still crave is their jalapeño honey butter corn bread! Seriously need to try it if you can. The Team! I cannot say enough about the team they were so sweet and so accommodating, flexible and just made you really feel like we hired the right people to do the right job. I am in the customer service industry and I was beyond pleased with each and every one of them. We hired a Bartender, two wait staff and a chef all of them have the best personalities and just made you feel the way you need to at your wedding. The truck also sells drinks, candy/snacks, coffee (hot and iced), and ice cream. La Sirena is a quick spot to visit while at Ditch Plains go grab a bite and head right back to the sand and surf. This event was nicely laid out, plenty of space for cues at each truck, plenty of seating, plenty of garbage / recycle cans, gorgeous weather, great crowd, no shenanigans, very nice food truck staff (at each one), and absolutely perfect weather. This was their fourth annual and you really get your bang for your buck at this event. My favorite food truck food was Pizza Luca's Filetti Pizza and my favorite food truck aesthetically, was The Hamptons Aristrocrat. Thank you to our fabulous CM Drew and to Yelp - I love you guys. I placed the order on the digital menu board and grabbed my cold beer on the side window. I waited for inside for our food, listening for our number to be called. First impression: Shinnecock Lobster Factory Lobster Roll Bread? Stale The Lobster Roll? I can never find the perfect Lobster Roll on Long Island. I don't get it, New England is kicking our tails (See what I did there?) Lobster: It wasn't coated in butter but a mayo-y mess I ordered the biggest, baddest Lobster Roll they offer. It was meaty but with filler meat like parts of the claw. After I ate the big chucks of cold lobster coated with mayo and was left with cheaper part of the lobster, IMHO the roll wasn't worth the expensive upcharge. My wife ordered a Fried Fish platter. It came with three large pieces of fresh fish. The fish was lightly coated in batter and fried gold brown. The french fries were good as well as the fish, no complaints. The potato chips, I'm assuming they were homemade but after a few minutes became cold and oily, it didn't want me craving more. The Shinnecock Lobster Factory got the lobster bisque down, if they can work on the lobster roll this place would be 5 stars hands down.
