Indifferent about this place. I neither love it or hate it. Apparently, I am in the minority because the times I do opt to come here, it is usually filled with non-stop action. First off, there are several ways to get into the place so you might end up entering into a web of various activities occurring. Once you emerge from that, you need to decide if you are dining at the "pier" or the "cafe/ restaurant". The set up is very chopped up, and maze-like. Anyway, if it's a lovely day, opt for the pier side, since they have a beautiful deck, and the bar opens up to the outdoors. If you are looking to play any of the video/sports like activities, watch a game, opt for the cafe side. I still manage to confuse the dining options when checking in with the hostess. It's almost as though one might need a mini-tour of the place before committing to which side suits you. Once seating is decided, it's time for the menu selections. This is where I take a detour with my impression of the place. To me, its basic food. No real frills. No must - haves, no uniqueness to boast about. No real dissatisfaction either. However, If I can recommend anything, it is to make arrangements to be part of the pier crowd during the air show that takes place nearby. Fabulous view, and great entertainment while enjoying a cocktail or two as jets soar past overhead. No regrets with this one.

Great views from the deck! Great food reasonably priced. Specialty drinks tasty but a bit pricey. ( no prices on drink menu). We are definitely coming back many other items to try!

Even the tortilla chips were stale.

Not recommend. Nothing about this place was good. The menu was not cohesive and all over the place. Nobody in our party of 3 finished any of the food including our appetizer. I feel ripped off.

Nice greasy pepperoni pizza.

This place has the same menu as Sharky's but an infinitely better atmosphere. I ate at Sharkeys one night and the pier the next. Being here on business this was the convenient option as it was within walking distance from the Marriott. I consulted on the thing to get as far as food and pizza was the common option for both places. I took the bartender up on the pizza option, I was not disappointed. New York ish style pizza with really good flavor. The service was top-notch and all the waitresses and bartenders were on it. If I had one criticism it would be the lack of a competent manager to keep things running smoothly. People waited for someone to seat them and people waited at their table because no one told the waitress that they were seated. I'll go back the next time I'm in town but hopefully they have a decent house manager when I do.

Last night I went to The Pier for drinks, apps, and the Thursday night music. Every Thursday night during the spring-summer season a band will play from 8-10pm. The bands are usually local and include in a wide variety of musical selections. Onto the food & drinks. I had a Purple Rain drink, very sweet to the taste, and recommended by the waitress after discussing what I like. It was awesome. I also had the wood fired wings and skillet red pepper dip with "pizza chips". The food was excellent as always! The wings were full and juicy, while the dip was sizzling hot being served in a skillet. I will always recommend this restaurant - especially on Sunday's for BOGO wood fired pizza & bottomless mimosas during brunch.

Wow. We went here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Located adjacent to regular Sharky's, The Pier at Sharkeys gives you a seaside feel with the deck seating, breeze, island decor and great music. For our appetizer we ordered the giant pretzel with four dipping sauces. Very good. For my meal I ordered the lobster mac & cheese with pasta. It was out of this world. My wife ordered the crab stuffed shrimp. You can check out the pictures below! My two small children split a woodfired pizza and it was very good as well. The only downside, and this might be nitpicking, is the price. For an appetizer, three adult drinks and the three entrées, the bill came to $74. With tip, we got out just under $100. A little pricey but that's okay. We will be back for sure. The food, atmosphere and service were terrific.

Our table had two servers assigned to us, which was interesting. I'll be honest, I was skeptical of the prices and that I would leave hungry, but I was proven wrong! I was extremely full, and we went during happy hour so we got one of those deals! Split between 3 people, the bill was pretty reasonable! We each got a personalized wine flight. I got a rosé, Riesling, and Pinot Grigio - the rosé was my fav! Everything else we ordered: -Whipped Sheep's cheese w/ truffle honey + chips -Jamón & Manchego Croquetas (happy hour deal) -Patatas Bravas (happy hour deal) -Mussels + homemade sausage -Albondigas aka spiced meatballs (happy hour deal) -Bacon wrapped dates -Potato tortilla -Spiced beef empanadas -Espresso martini -Chocolate cake Overall I really enjoyed everything! Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd say my least favorite thing was the bacon-wrapped dates (I just don't eat dates very much). I was a little disappointed in the size of the empanadas, I'm used to eating bigger ones from other restaurants, but they were still very tasty! The food came out fast and was super fresh! Our main server Becca was funny, relatable, and really made this such a fun experience! She also treated us to the sangria chug (not sure if that's the official name but that's what I'm calling it lol). The dim lighting and dark decor makes a perfect ambiance for a girls night or date night!

The Milanese de pollo was really good but not close to Argentinian style, no fries no fried eggs included. My issue is that they use the Argentinian style label as a marketing tool and they are not even close. The price was ridiculously high for the experience.

In any case we placed our orders, I ordered the breakfast platter special, which was fried chicken and biscuits with country sausage gravy my wife ordered the eggs Benedict my daughter for her birthday ordered the French toast with two eggs and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Talking first about the chicken and waffles. I've come to see that many locations offer chicken and waffles. This being about average for what I would consider chicken and waffles as it was a small filet cut in a half upon a very thin flat waffle, which would've done better to be a Belgian waffle with a much fluffier plump chicken filet. My son did enjoy it but when he finished it the server came by and he says did you enjoy that? Was it good, it must've been good because you ate everything! Then let's discuss my wife's eggs Benedict, which she thoroughly loved. However, the ham looked like it was sliced deli ham for a sandwich instead of Canadian bacon or a little thicker slice of country ham. It's not my call, as my wife said she enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her stuffed French toast and egg. Everything was cooked to her liking and she said it had a good flavor and of all four dishes that certainly was the best of the four. as for the last dish, my Sriracha sausage gravy, fried chicken and biscuit with home fries, the jury is still out as the home fries came out a little overdone and cold. The sausage gravy looks like somebody spread it on with a paintbrush, and it wasn't very warm. The chicken was warm and did taste good and the biscuit was good, but it made no sense when the server said, it comes smothered in sausage gravy. Take a look at the picture, and it looks more like a couple tablespoons of gravy on each biscuit with the chicken. We did have a good time and the ambience of the place was very nice, especially seated along the windows looking at the snow outside and perhaps we'll give it another shot at a later date. Overall, nothing over the top but nothing to make us fear coming back either. It was just kind of middle of the road, but I am glad that the nicest dish and the best presentation went to my daughter for her 20th birthday. At least that was a saving grace as well as the lunch with the movie, listening to the various antics and chatter coming from the server.

Today is my birthday and I wanted to go here to celebrate with my family. Although I was craving a Supreme Pizza, others made diverse selections which I think provides a pretty conclusive picture. Bottom line is, this is a good pizza restaurant with good craft beers on tap. It is not a good upscale food restaurant . We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. They were ok, needed some salt, but the breading was good. My husband ordered the special, surf and turf which was prime rib and crab cakes. Which was supposed to come with a salad, which he never got, and two sides. The pasta side was penne with a very bland tomato sauce, it actually tasted like straight tomato sauce from a can. And the other side was grilled veggies, which were nice. The crab cakes were very good, with very little filler. The prime rib was fatty, tough and flavorless and kind of grey. We took most of it home for the dog. By the way, it was $55. My daughter ordered the salmon salad and was very happy with it. My son had the fish sandwich and said the best part of it was the bun. The fish had been fried too long in old oil and was limp and greasy. French fries were too. Although the menu said it came with Cole slaw, which he did not get. I guess he got the fries instead. Both my husband and daughter ordered the French Onion Soup. Apparently they grill the onions, but they were burned and gave the soup a acrid flavor. Not good. My Supreme pizza was very good as always. A solid menu choice. That pizza is 5 star worthy. Water and glasses were put on the table first thing with the menus. One of the 4 glasses had salt left on the rim from someone else's Margarita. Three of us ordered beer but my husband asked for unsweetened iced tea. It came and when he tasted it, asked me to taste it. It was very watered down. He asked the waitress if she could do something about it and she said she couldn't because it came out of the fountain like that. So he ordered a ginger ale instead. He had to ask her 2 more times to get it. Once we were home I looked more closely at the bill and realized they charged us both for the gross watery iced tea and the ginger ale which replaced it. We heard a guy at the next table complaining about the iced tea too. Why not just say it was not available instead of serving a bad drink? Overall, our waitress was not the best because when I ordered a second beer, she brought me a Yeungling, which was the beer my son had ordered, not the Block House Blueberry I had originally. I kept it, I like Yeungling too. So because of the service and the overpriced special, the dirty glass and the greasy overcooked food, the rating can only be 3 stars. Pizza was 5 stars. They need to stick to what they do well which are the pizza, and forget the upscale food.

You're probably here for some type of special occasion, because it is certainly pricey. I decided to splurge for a friend's birthday for brunch, which runs $95 per person and includes a mimosa. The same friend has visited a number of Frank Lloyd Wright houses with me, from this PA region to New York to Illinois, so it felt like the perfect place. I made a reservation on OpenTable and indicated that we had one vegetarian (myself). The restaurant followed up to make sure there were no other notes they needed to know, and also to see if I wanted to add anything on. You can add things like rose petals on the table and a single rose to the celebratory person, wine options, or an individual-ish celebration cake. I decided to add the celebration cake, which costs $20 and serves two people. There is a main restaurant, but the special experience this place has certainly become known for are the individual dining pods, which are out in the trees but well screened from any weather. There are heaters and fans available in your pod. It is a truly lovely private dining experience. You can just slightly hear conversations of other diners in nearby pods if you listen very hard, and there is piano music playing on speaker, which is instrumental version of popular songs like Britney Spears, Shakira etc. We found this funny but simultaneously enjoyed it. They had nice little touches like a Happy Birthday sign on the wall and an embossed happy birthday note for the birthday person to keep, and brought out chilled plates for a dessert involving frozen custard. It was nice attention to detail that reminded you this is a special dining experience. Service is attentive but unobtrusive and wants to make sure you are happy with your experience. Onto the food. The mimosas were already on our table when we arrived. Our server indicated they were sending out a complimentary amuse-bouche from the chef, which was an individual vegetable stuffed mushroom. It was delicious and a nice starting note. Then came the appetizer, a smoked burrata with pita, arugula, grape tomatoes and an edible orchid. Everything is so beautifully presented here, and just delicious. The entrées were crazy. There were two portions each of stuff French toast, potatoes and frittata. Those were all vegetarian and shareable. On a separate board came enough meat for two people to share as well, salmon, pork, sausage and carrots. Since that tray was not for me they also brought me a vegetarian bowl including veggies, chickpeas and quinoa. It was a lot of food and we ended up taking a nice amount of leftovers home from this part of the meal. Everything was wonderfully prepared, with the stuffed French toast probably being my favorite bite. Our server said she would be bringing dessert which I assumed was the celebration cake. But no, there was a French pastry each, presented with some fruit. They have a nice cocktail and cocktail menu and we elected to add an espresso mocktini each with this course. Those were on point and I've missed espresso martinis so much since I've largely given up drinking. After all of this came the celebration cake, which either came entirely or just the frozen custard from Tropical Bungalow, a local business. The Tahitian vanilla flavor was just delightful and the frozen custard was a wonderful texture. It was truly such a feast. We ate every bit of the desserts. One thing I appreciated here is that often when a place is known for the experience, the food is beautifully presented but not always plentiful. That is far from the case here, you are not going home hungry. My total bill came to $252, which included the two $95 brunches, the $20 celebration cake and two $14 mocktails. Adding a tip, I was a little over $300, which is a lot but it is a special occasion. We heard folks talking about staying overnight and looked up more information, and found that you can tour the four homes on the property here, two designed by Wright and two by his apprentice. In reviewing the tours I noted that there are package options, with one offering a tour of three of the houses and lunch at Tree Tops for a total of $75 per person (!). This is an incredible value and I think I would take this option next time, as the houses would definitely be worth touring as well. I look forward to my next visit here.
