We saw the new Reuben egg rolls available at Headkeepers and had to try them. We picked them up take out and the pick up was great! The service was quick! The rolls are huge! We could have split one order but so glad we have extra to reheat later! Let me tell you they are crunchy and taste amazing. It comes with thousand island in the side...perfect!

    | Greensburg, PA | Head Keeper Tapas Bar | @headkeepergbg reminiscing of patio days. everything here was scrumptious. These crab cakes hit the spot (so i'm told) and the potatoes were thick and flavorful. Crème brûlée was super sweet and delicious. Can't go wrong with a charcuterie. My sour was fantastic. I have visited The Headkeeper twice and haven't been disappointed. The service is great - everyone is friendly. If you are looking for shareable plates because you like to try multiple things, this is the place to go. There is outdoor and indoor seating. My favorite part is looking at all the different beverages in the cases and picking out something new.

12 coolers of a wide variety of craft and import beers!

Great beer selection and tasty tapas-type plates. Will go back. Had the crab cake sliders. We're ok, but liked the place overall and definitely the beer selection.

This was the first time we'd been at The Headkeeper in quite a few years. It may not have even come to mind, but it was one of the few places open on a Monday and this was for a special occasion dinner. Something to love is that, being primarily tapas, you can try a few things & not be overwhelmed. That said, the dinner salad is very share-able--it's huge! Our waitress was great, the selections were very nice and varied, presentation of the food was lovely and this is a place to put on the rotation. You will not be disappointed!

We sat on the patio and Jojo was our server - she was such a sweetheart. I ordered a gin and tonic with infused watermelon cucumber gin (delicious) and the chicken italiano. Chicken was seasoned perfectly, pasta side was incredible, roasted vegetables picked from their garden were delicious. My coworkers got the filet, wagu beef tacos, and the seasonal sweet and sour salad. Everyone left satisfied and happy. So much so that we not only recommended all of our other coworkers to go here, but we came back two days later. When we came back, we ran into our coworkers at the bar. We sat outside on the patio and had another incredible meal once again served by the delightful Jojo. I had many more gin and tonics with infused gin and the wagu tacos. My coworkers got crab cakes, the chicken italiano, and filet. Everyone was once again satisfied and happy. It came to closing time and Jojo locked up the front door, turned on the patio lights, and continued serving us. She let us stay out back talking and drinking for 2 hours past closing. It was such a delightful night and I cannot recommend this place enough. Service was incredible, ambiance was wonderful, and the food was delicious. My coworkers and I came from out of town but we all expressed the desire to come back, have another incredible meal, and see Jojo again. It was only after the first time we went that we realized the important work Major Stokes does for the community. The sustainability efforts and work they do with nonprofits is extremely commendable and only made us love them more. I don't write Yelp reviews, but this place was so exceptional that I had to.

Our waitress was very friendly. I was able to find metered street parking right in front of the restaurant, however, it was Monday afternoon. As far as cleanliness, it didn't smell very fresh when I walked in but the tables, floors and cushions looked clean. The chairs did look like they needed a good scrub!

Our server, Rachel, was very kind and attentive, checking on us to make sure we enjoyed each dish and replacing plates and silverware a few times. The restaurant has a very romantic vibe with low lights, and simple beautiful decor. You can also see into the kitchen, and our table had a great view. It was very cool to be able to see all the food being prepared! Now the food.... Oh my goodness. Everything was absolutely incredible. We got a few of the snacks, small plates, and finished with dessert. My boyfriend and I kept trying to pick out which dish was our favorite, but it was almost impossible. Two of our highlights were the scallop crudo (my pick) and the oyster mushrooms (his pick), but we would definitely highly recommend everything that we ordered! I wish I could eat here every day. This place is awesome. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh.

She offered to make a chocolate martini I said ok that sounded good. My husband ordered a beer. Two minutes later. The waitress came back, and asked what we wanted to order. We were so confused . We ordered again acting like she didn't just take our order 2 minutes ago. I actually ended up changing my order and asked if they had a "house" pilot grigio. She said yes. She asked if we were going to order food and we said just drinks tonight. 5 minutes pass and she brings a large appetizer to our table. I said we didn't order this. She asked if we talked about it though . We said "no" we were never ordering food. I was so taken back by this experience I wanted to cash out after our drinks. I headed to the bar and asked for our bill. We were going to leave cash and leave because the whole situation was very uncomfortable. (Thinking 20 would be enough for the drinks and tip) We finally get the bill and the house wine is on there along with the beer. The total was $37 for 2 drinks. How can a house wine be $17 for a glass? As we left, the whole situation didnt sit right with me. I called later to ask how much a glass of house wine was and the person that answered stated $9.
