Whoa. This may be the best burrito bowl I've had in my life.....and this gal has had a lot of burrito bowls! I didn't think I would be able to find a reasonably priced lunch in Mountain Village so stumbling upon this place was quite a treat. I created my own bowl with a salad base, add ins (free and unlimited) and the most generous servicing of carnitas I've ever had on a burrito bowl. The bowl can most definitely serve two or act as a second meal, I was starving after a morning full of yoga and it hit the spot. Just enough spice with a couple of servings of veggies and I was ready to chaturanga with my bad self again! They are open in the morning and for lunch so be sure to stop here for a mid day meal! read more

Yummy bowl for an amazing value. Mine ended up with more ingredients than I can remember. It started with eggs, sausage, rice, grilled veggies, and more. Anbsolity fantastic. I got an affordable breakfast burrito which was an excellent and my wife got the San Juan which is about the best burrito bowl ever. It was huge, so luckily I got to have a few bites to finish it off. The Honey Siracha and Chipotle Aoili combo was just amazing. No inside seating, but several tables nearby to sit outside. After a morning hike up from town, I stopped for a lunch burrito on the recommendation of a couple I met on a hike the day before. I thought the burrito was very good and would give it a 4.5. All the ingredients were fresh and the carnitas was excellent...not very salty like so many places. It was so good that I may stop back again before leaving town. Listen - the only thing you really need to know about this place is that it's only $8 for a breakfast burrito that will keep you skiing til 2pm. Or, share it with a friend and save that $4/each for a shot of fireball when you need to warm up on the mountain. Pick is essentially Telluride Ski Resort's version of Chipotle. Pick a meat (or not), choose your fillings, and wrap that all up with a burrito. You'll be in and out within 5-10 minutes and both your wallet and your tummy will thank you. It would be great if they opened a bit earlier than 8am, but aside from that, this was a great bang for your buck brekkie or lunch option. Next time I can't get enough pow but I know I need lunch, I would definitely go back and order a burrito or bowl to get me back on the mountain faster than I could even get my order in at Tracks! read more

Ordered breakfast burritos two mornings in a row to eat before long hikes. They were delicious with fresh ingredients. Eggs are cooked on the spot and heat the inside of the burrito. Highly recommend getting the crispy hashbrowns as they add the perfect crunch. A wide variety of sauces give it the perfect seasoning. The two guys running the counter were so friendly, helpful and quick. Love the simple menu and feel of the place. Wish we had one of these back home. read more

Solid PICK. Get it? I know... my jokes are lame. It's not Chipotle, but it was pretty good for a choose-your-own Subway-style sort of burrito/bowl/nacho joint. I had the veggie burrito and the portions were decent for the $7.75 + tip I paid. They have a decent amount of unique sauces (honeys sriracha, lime sour cream, etc.) to choose from and as they go down the line, you just pick out what you want. I'd return for sure. Solid choice for a breakfast burrito or lunch. Closed for dinner, so hit up Los Buenos inside TBC instead if you're craving Mexican in the evening hours. read more

Walked in here on a whim with my wife at about 11:45am. The two gentlemen working behind the counter could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful as we had never been here before. I had the sausage breakfast burrito and my wife had the chicken bowl. The Burrito was outstanding with the sweet siracha sauce and my wife added the mango salsa which was just incredible. I rarely give 5 star reviews to eateries/restaurants, but this place was just so good with great service that just isn't so common anymore. Btw, they also offer vegan options. All of the locals really hyped this place up. I saw several folks eating their burritos all over town and every person I spoke with said I needed to try the burrito. I tried to go every day and eventually made it for lunch. They have the same premised as Chipotle, Qdoba, whole foods, etc. You pick your rice, beans, meat, etc. The burrito was really good, was it the best I've ever had, not really. I do recommend it though and if you want a solid burrito while in town this is the spot. read more

It's pretty much a local qdoba or chipotle. The best part is the prices, super affordable compared to everything else in the area. The downside is the crap hours, who closes at 2pm on a Saturday?? Meant to review this spot a while back after we got back from Telluride but here we are! My husband and I were craving burritos after a tough hike and were so excited to see this spot at the base of our hotel in Mountain Village. I will say, I think our experience was mostly due to the fact that we came 30 minutes before close and things just weren't the freshest/fully stocked. I built my own burrito and loved the variety of flavorful sauces and toppings that they offer, but was bummed that they were out of many of them, including guac, my fav!! They definitely have all the fixins for a sweet and spicy vibe, if you like that and I appreciate their homemade sauces! The biggest disappointment of all was that my burrito was cold, even when digging in right away! The cheese didn't even melt. I think everything had just been sitting out a while and they were ready to close shop so again, we probably didn't hit them at the right time. All in all, flavors are good, maybe just go closer to their open/peak of lunchtime! Their breakfast burritos sound fab so maybe I'd opt for that next time, too! read more

My rice was crunchy and stale, and both the beef and rice had cold spots too. The rest of the burrito and bowl was room temperature. Additionally, I received an eye roll every time I asked for something, like the extra-cost guacamole or the necessary lids for my side-sauces on a to go order.
