Probably one of the better meals we had throughout our stay, albeit a bit pricy, but at this point if you're going to spend $50+ on lunch, you may as well get the good stuff! Our server was also excellent. We went in for a late brunch/early lunch. The menu offered mostly breakfast items with a few salads and sandwiches. The French dip is 100% worth the money - it was so good! Perfectly cooked, soft, tasty bread, great horseradish and au jus. Add the truffle fries for the perfect side. Avocado toast was okay. Bread was soft but the avocado was minimal and sliced vs. mashed and spread. The smoked salmon add-on was generous and very fresh. The Greek yogurt bowl is pricy but hits the spot if you enjoy berries, tart Greek yogurt, and a sticky Colorado honeycomb. Sitting on the patio at Altezza watching the sun set over Wilson is a must do experience. Best view in Telluride. The food and drinks are delicious. Wonderful! My boyfriends planned thanksgiving dinner, so I did not know what to expect. I was so impressed with it all. The hotel location, the restaurant, the service and the food were all exceptional. We decided to have a lunch/dinner and arrive around 20 minutes early at 3:00pm. We were seating by a large window and our coats were taken. The views were unreal, so beautiful and we got to see a plane land as well. They had a preset dinner around $90 per person and it was so worth it. Three course meal which did not disappoint. It was so plentiful; you can best believe that we had leftovers. The Salmon was my favorite, but everything was so tasty. Jeannine was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. She was working on Thanksgiving Day which I'm sure was difficult and yet she was beyond friendly, professional and great at her job. Also, the blonde maitre'd at the front who took our coat was so nice. She was another standout for this meal. This experience couldn't have gone better (minus a mild dress code, there was a mother and son near us who were very drunk and loud in a t shirt) but that wasn't a big deal. I appreciated the restaurant and bar hours were later and allowed for flexibility in when to eat. We ate multiple meals at the restaurant. I enjoyed the elk. The rest of the food was perhaps a bit over priced for what we received. Food Allergies | Huge shout out to the chef and staff at Altezza. The chef came out to speak with us about our boys food allergies to help us all feel better. We ordered steaks with salt and pepper, broccolini with olive oil and steamed rice. I spent my black Friday with a group of friends at Altezza at the Peaks, expecting a fine dining experience, but it fell way far short of my expectation. For starter, they did not offer any complementary sharable such as bread, etc. like other fine dining experiences that I've been to until we had to ask for it. Later on, the server messed up our requests and brought out wrong foods, also forget a salad order of my friend. There were 2 order of medium rare filet mignons and both of them were raw instead. There were 2 people had risotto, 1 of them was cooked properly but the other was still hard and undercooked. There were 2 orders of Spaghettis, both of them pasta were dry and undercooked. We've asked about the pasta and they confirmed it served like that (no it's not al dente style) It's uncomfortable that they did not apologize even after we brought up the problems. Lastly, As we about to finish our time here, there was a waitress standing next to a man at the bar, let him touching her butt and between her legs for couple minutes like they're in an empty space. I hope appropriate behavior is included in the training manual, especially in an atmosphere like this. I love their atmosphere, decoration, view, but the experience I've got is completely negative. One of the most amazing dinners of my life! I will remember this experience for a long time. After a dreamy golden hour gondola ride from Telluride to Mountain Village, we got to the restaurant just in time for an amazing sunset over the San Juan Mountains. We were about 20 minutes early for our reservation, but the hostess seated us immediately anyway. I was in awe of our view of the snow capped mountains and golden aspen trees the whole time we ate. Our waitress was great, super friendly and attentive. And the food was great, I had the elk tenderloin. Delicious! Giving a 2 star rating is 100% about the service. The food was very good. We arrived for our anniversary dinner 30 minutes prior to our reservation. The hostess seemed confused when we checked when we inquired about having a drink outside before dinner. She told us we could walk around, but didn't have seating. We then figured out, they actually did have an outdoor seating section where you didn't need reservations. We figured, it's early season, maybe she is new. We were seated and waited 15 minutes for the waiter to come over. He seemed off put when he came to take our order. Never asked if we wanted anything to drink just jumped in. He was little help on recommendations. That was the last time we saw him until we had to flag down another server to ask for our check. It took over an hour to bring us our meal. My wife's soup came out before dinner, but they didn't bring my salad until our meal came...Over an hour after ordering. The place was not that busy, there were empty tables and we saw people who came in get served and finished before our food ever came. I had to flag someone down to get water. We looked at each other and thought we were getting punked. My steak was very good, my wife's salmon was dry, maybe because it was sitting under a heat lamp too long? You can serve decent food, and if the service is good, I'd come back. Atlezza, you guys really dropped the ball. The soup was savoury, hearty, tangy and flavorful. It was warming to the heart and delicious after a long day on the slopes. The calamari was fried with Cajun spices and had a great flavor as well. My only complaint was that the calamari slices were too thin and stringy. They should be thicker to allow a meaty centerpiece to the deep fried goodness. The chipotle aioli sauce really woke up the Rings though. Just the right amount of tanginess and zip. Service was courteous, friendly and efficient. read more

The servers are very attentive and are always filling up your water glass, which I appreciate. The food it incredible and they give you pretty good portions. We got the truffle fries to share, salad, the salmon, steak, and pasta. If anything, you must try the truffle fries and dip it in the mayonnaise. It was incredibly delicious. I was able to have a couple meals at Altezza during a trip to visit family, and I was completely satisfied and impressed after each meal. Servers were aware of vegan and menu was marked. We enjoyed dinner as a family of five and the breakfast buffet as well. Both were outstanding, not only in the food we ate, but the service as well. Friendly faces and prompt service both times we dined here. Our server on our first visit made a special request to the kitchen (we didn't even ask her to do this, she was just kind enough to do so) for gluten free French fries for our daughter since we were enjoying the truffle fries as an appetizer and our GF kiddo couldn't partake. What a kind thing to do! Our meals were delicious and exactly what we'd hoped for at the end of a long day. The breakfast staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and prompt in their service.
