I waited at the Bar for 20 minutes plus and the bartender served the patron who had just walked up and he informed her that I was there before him and to serve me first, and the bartender replied "he can go somewhere else if he wants, it won't affect me." I had bought 2 tables for 4 people about 2 months in advance for a show here for an event November 3. You would think they'd leave your name on the tables after paying $130 for the 2 tables. When I arrived at the venue I went up to the balcony section and all the tables were taken. Even though I basically reserved balcony seats. So myself and my 3 guest had to watch the show from downstairs behind the bar section. Good show even though we couldn't really see much from there . Other places I've reserved tables at will actually leave your name on them so that way you actually get what you paid for..and your tables should be available not taken by someone else . read more

Myself and a few friends came up this past weekend, 1st off looking at the tickets on the website before we went, we were only doing General emission which showed 10.00 + 2.99 serv, fee, then we went back on the website just before we left to see when the band was starting, I came across the general admission again and now it was 10.00 + 3.49 serv. fee. ok no problem, NOW we get there, and it is 20.00 to get in and no band, and as of today i see my debit card they actually took out 20.80. So Then of course we had to pay we were now there, 1st person goes and buys a round of drinks her total was 21.00, 2nd person goes up gets the same exact drinks and her bill was 32.00, so that was it we had to go, it was crooked from before we got there, not to mention my friends were coming up and I had to tell them it was 20.00 for a DJ, they said I don't think so for a DJ needless to say this place lost an additional 5 people that were going to go. We on Saturday for the Pearl Jam Tribute band and Too Fighters and they were AMAZING! Probably the best cover bands I have ever seen. What wasn't amazing was our server. We had a reserved table upstairs, was told immediately there is no drink menu, no blended drinks and no draft beer upstairs "unless we wanted 1.5 year old kegs from pre shut down" is what we were told. I'm not exactly sure why our server couldn't go get draft beer for us regardless if it was downstairs. The venue is awesome, huge with sooooo much potential but the service was very slow and very annoying. Granted I know we are in different times but good service is still good service. read more

The FOUNDRY. And Pockets before that (well, in a different building). Sorry, I have a lot of experience with this building and it's prior owners, so the name Piazza hasn't quite stuck in my vocabulary yet. Some thing have changed, many have remained the same. It took several years but the building now features a permanent stage upfront for the many concerts they have. Some of the seating has been altered as was the large bar that kind of moved on the platform level. They've done a nice job updating the place. OTB still opens its doors and they still have a number of gambling machines and other video games. Last time I checked the table pool area still existed, but I'm not sure these days. I come here every year to meet friends for the first day of the NCAA tourney. This year was a little different due to covid, you had to reserve a table for four, so our party size was controlled. Understandable. The food here has improved since the Foundry days but their beer menu has not. A large place like this should have an expansive menu of microbrews and/or local IL brewers. They do not. Still, I can't think of a better place to watch a game. With a bizzillion tv's in every direction, you can put eyes on every game they offer, and I think they show every sport down to lawn bowling. Seriously, they show it all here. Cheers. read more

I am surprised that The Piazza has not experienced any issues with operation during the pandemic. I recently went to an event here and while the employees were super nice and accommodating, the venue as a whole had no regard for safety of its guests. There were tons of people dancing without masks and they did nothing to ensure that there was adequate social distancing or proper procedures in place. Although they do have many outside events now, the employees do nothing to make sure the safety of its guests are prioritized despite the signage saying that masks should be worn. I'm highly disappointed in this venue, given that I am generally a fan of it. read more

It's a dive bar in a huge cavernous building and the owners somehow think it's the United Center. Whenever I come here, the service is never good, absolutely never friendly, and the food is never all that great. To make matters worse went for a Busta Rhymes concert that luckily on Groupon only had to pay $35 for, because if I had to pay the $75 it was originally I would've been beyond pissed. Not only is the cover to get in this place always absurd, apparently when there's a concert, a $4 domestic can of beer becomes $8. Gouging much? Then, I didn't even get to see Busta Rhymes. Got there at 7:45, by 11:45, the crappy host DJ, told us that Busta was still in route, had to ENDURE 4 hours of shitty local rap acts no one cares about besides their friends and family and I couldn't take it anymore and decided to dip. I'm a local and I will never return. And I hope I can get rid of these Bone Thugs-N-Harmony tickets for next month at the same location, from the same production company. At the George Clinton show on July 16, 2022, there were only 6 porta-johns for thousands of people outside, I waited 35 minutes in a line for one, and that was just one time, I didn't drink a lot, just 2 beers and a water. We were not allowed to use the inside bathrooms. The food was mediocre at best. Your signage was inadequate, it said cash only but they did take cards. The service was never stellar but this weekend, there was one waitress working on a Saturday afternoon while they were running an arm wrestling tournament. She ignored our table three times and was miffed when we asked for menus. She delivered my wife's cheeseburger without cheese and then brought out a slice of American separately. First time here since Salernos took over. I'm not sure how the service could get worse than when it was The Foundry, but they did it. Came in and sat in the upper bar area. Waited for someone to come by and finally walked the 5 feet to the bar. Bartender said she was on he way to take out order. Okay, maybe she was busy (talking to her friends/staff). She took our drink order, then never came back. Finally she came by and asked if we wanted more drinks. Told her we wanted some Nachos. Those were fine, nothing to write home about. But we needed more. Had to go ask to order more food. Had to go ask to order more beer. Asked if they could put up the NASCAR race, since it was only the Championship race. I got the "i'll find out what channel it's on". Would have understood if the 1st games werent already over and there were only 3 games on 10 screens, plus I did ask if they could put it on one of the side screens. That never happened. Instead I got to watch the DirectTV banner. Ended up watching it on my phone. Then with only 3 games on, they switched to putting up 2 games in the middle. One of which we were watching, but now it was on the other screen that is now behind a metal support. Service was the primary reason I stopped going to the Foundry. Now with even worse service, I can't see coming back anytime soon. Soooooo disappointed. It got the second star because it is a cool place to watch sports. Just don't expect service. read more

Came here for a concert on October 28th and the opening act never showed up and the main act came out late. Food was cold and cash only (ridiculous when there's a pandemic going on). Also had a limited menu. The place also smelled like sewer water and smelly shoes. Door employee was rude. We ended up leaving early and the guy working the door when we left told my mother she couldn't take the soda (that she paid for) out of the building with her. Highly disappointed tonight! Went there to cheer on my boyfriends 6:30p volleyball game like I do every Tuesday. Today they had a concert starting at 9p and when we entered at 6p they informed us everyone but the volleyball players have to pay $35 to get in. Seriously? It's a 6:30 game and we're out of there before 9p. We spend more than that on drinks and food while watching the games. Needless to say, I was not okay with spending $35 to watch the volleyball game so I went home to wait for him. He was done by 7:45p. A dad came in with his small girls and they tried charging him $70 for two little girls under 6 to walk to the volleyball area outside. There were so many ways I could think of on my own as to how they could have handled the volleyball squads besides attempting to charge the volleyball squads. I mean, slap red bands on us that show you we must leave before 9p. You still would have made at least $50 on me without charging me $35 for a concert I wasn't there to see. read more

This concert went from being an outdoor event to an indoor event. Inside they didn't have any seating and there were so many obstacles and walls that unless you purchased VIP tickets it was impossible to see the show. They had a smoking lounge that you were only able to use if you had VIP tickets. There was no re-entry, so you couldn't even go outside to smoke. The show was suppose to start at 8 and was delayed several times for a final show start time of 9. They only had a kitchen size garbage can, which was overflowing before the show ever started and no one emptied them. I had a horrible experience. First time visiting since the change from The Foundry to The Piazza and it was a good experience. The deals on the drinks were great on black Wednesday- $1 domestic and $3 mixed drinks hells yeah. I'm not a foodie at bars but I would say that the pizza and wings were good. Overall, the place was nice and clean and our server took good care of us. The place wasn't packed but there was a good crowd that came out and people were on the dance floor having a good time. Sunday breakfast with the Beatles, sounded like a good idea, but the Salerno's were ill prepared for such an event. Checking in took over 45 minutes. Service was slow and infrequent. We would go 20 minutes at a time before we see our server. Took our drinks order fairly quickly but ordering breakfast took another 40 minutes. They can't claim being under staffed since tickets were purchased in advance. After mother 45 minutes went by before we started seeking our server to ask about the food where abouts. Server blamed the kitchen and 15 minutes later the food showed up cold, not luck warm, rather room temperature cold. Tried couple of bites before we threw in the towel. It was just bad, cold eggs do not go down easy. I will skip the commentary about the poor quality of the endless mimosas as I don't expect top-shelf champaign in these settings, but they were warm. Again, bad warm mimosas don't go down easy. Manager stop by, did offer to redo our food or a credit. But not an apology. At this point we've been here for 3 hours and didn't want to sit for another round of where is our food. Half the staff weren't wearing masks so weren't half the guests. Can't exactly enforce the masking rule when your own staff is not following it On the upside, the band was decent even though their name wasn't prominently featured any were we can find, and we looked It's hard enough for businesses to get people to visit their establishments, but bad service and worse food will guarantee the ones that decided to try something new to never come back. The irony is their website explains the reason they offer limited menus at these events is to assure quality of service yet they felt short on both. read more

Came here with a group of 25 after work on Friday & had a great time. They had a nice section set up for us and our waitress did a great job keeping all of our drinks coming & tabs separated! The food was excellent - especially the pasta!! I wish there were some vegan options on the menu, but they were super accommodating & made me a delicious veggie rigatoni dish. The only complaint I have is that it's such a big place, that it always feels empty. It has such awesome potential to be a huge music venue, like Joes On Weed or similar, so I really hope they can get some bigger music acts & make it happen!! read more

First time I've checked out Piazza's since Foundry. The place looks amazing, service was great as usual and just when I thought the food couldn't get better it did! Pizza is amazing! This is a place everyone should check out. Huge TVs, great for watching sports. OTB is great for watching horses. Plus the stage, I can't wait to see a live show. Owners and employees have really done great. Our bartender Ryan was great also, very knowledgeable about sports and always looking to make his customers happy. This place is amazing! read more

Went for the first time today. The Pizza was one of the best thin crust I have had in the suburbs. This is not your regular sports bar; it's really a sports bar, restaurant, race book and entertainment venue. They have the biggest TV's I have ever seen in any bar, Vegas sports book or any other indoor venue I have been to. Latest technology, great staff, good food and plenty of room = the best sports bar in the area. If you want to watch a game you need to come here. read more

This sports bar/restaurant has a smoking room and the end result is that the entire place smells like smoke. For sure will not return until that changes. TVs are large and could be a great place to watch a game or UFC. They have a lot of other entertainment options like pool, darts, golden tee, a fantastic stage for live acts. Food was disappointing. Beer menu was a little better than week. Off track betting and slots on site. Place has so much potential but unfortunately it's just a stinky, low rent, gambling hole. read more

I've been here for two shows within the past few months and both times we've had incredibly rude waitstaff. The bartender and server were acting like they didn't want to be there.
