After weighing all the options, ground transportation seemed the most cost-effective. After receiving multiple bids, Cmoorepets was the best option. Not knowing much about this method of travel, I was reliant on the Facebook page and the reviews that were on the page. I messaged the company and quickly received a quote. The setup process was very easy. I gave the pickup date and location and drop-off location. The payment was 1/2 on pickup and 1/2 at drop-off. A group text was setup between us, the breeder and the driver(Courtney-owner) and her co-driver(Christian-brother). We received many text messages and pictures along the way with location and updated estimated arrival times. This was such a great experience, I highly recommend this outfit if you are in need of transporting a pet. They are friendly, courteous, and trustworthy. I called last minute to ask if they'd be able to help me out. They came out that evening to meet my furry family and listen to my routine. They asked a lot of questions about each pet. They asked questions about any health issues and had backup plans in case something happened to them. They put me at ease right away and it was an easy decision to have them care for my three cats. I received daily updates and pictures of the cats playing, eating, and posing. These daily updates were very helpful and I stopped worrying about them after day one. They kept the schedule that I keep so as not to cause stress to the cats and provided information for me before I left to help with that as well. You choose how many times they come out. They don't just feed and empty boxes. They make sure the cats have a little play time, a little love and maybe even some brushing. I came home and everyone seemed just fine. They weren't overly fussy or put out because we were gone. UpScale Tailz provides extremely affordable services and I didn't stress my cats by taking them out of their environment. What surprised me the most was how professional this business is. Allison had a bunch of paperwork to go over with me. It was a legit operation. They have a website with a login where I can schedule services and pay my invoices. This has become one of the most useful aspects for using Chico and Chums. I can schedule a service on my portal and know that everything will be taken care of. A few months ago Dewey had some bladder problems and was on medicine. I had to go out of town for work and was terrified to leave him. Chico and Chums took great care of Dewey, and gave him his medicine, and gave me detailed updates. I was still a bit worried, so I asked for Dewey to be taken to the vet to make sure he was still okay. C&C was able to interact with my vet on my behalf and it really was a relief to know Dewey was in good hands.
