Good cafe brunch spot! I went here for a casual meal into this small shop. There are tables for small groups both inside and outside. The staff there seemed like a family that was very friendly and welcoming. The sandwich was satisfying and the coffee was superb. They even gave me a complimentary cookie to go with the coffee. I really enjoyed it and would definitely at least go back for the coffee to try again.

Coffee Shop No. 500 The Perfect Blend Cafe Fredrick, MD April 18, 2025 I had limited time and The Perfect Blend was two blocks out of my way which means I would be adding four extra blocks to my trip. I know it doesn't sound like much but when you are cramming multiple cortados into a couple of hours the caffeine and the steps add up quickly. Thankfully, as I scrolled through The Perfect Blend's Google reviews I noticed they used Julius Meinl Coffee. Every cafe I've visited that uses Julius Meinl Coffee serves delicious espresso drinks. I knew I had to make the journey. When I arrived at The Perfect Blend I noticed they were only a few minutes away from closing up shop. I poked my head in and asked if they were still serving espresso drinks. The gentleman at the counter smiled broadly and said, "Of course. Come in and enjoy." The barista created an extraordinary cortado then invited me to stay and enjoy the shop even though they were about to close. The Perfect Blend makes its home on the first floor of the Francis Key Scott Apartments located in a national historic district. I enjoyed people watching and feeling thankful for the lovely couple who made feel at home as I sipped on a perfectly crafted cortado. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

This place is on the bottom of an office building so you wouldn't think it's good but it's a hidden gem. I got a ham egg and cheese English muffin with a coffee and it was great. From the service I got going in to me eating the food everything was great. This is definitely a great mom and pops shop that I will be returning to.

We were on the highway, Yelped lunch, and found this place. It's very convenient- right around the corner from the parking garage. It took us a second to find the entrance- it's one of several places inside the old Francis Scott Key Hotel. Seating is at a premium in the actual cafe, but there are several more tables in the lovely and spacious air-conditioned lobby. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and got our food out licketty-split. I ordered the California Turkey Club as a wrap in a tossed red pepper tortilla. It was delicious, with the meat, cheese, and lettuce in just the right proportions, and came with a wedge of orange which was a nice touch. Anywhere else I would have given the sandwich 10/10, but here it suffered from comparison to my Bride's sandwich. She got the Turkey Pesto Panini with Avocado. The sandwich was immense! My darling Bride literally chortled and clapped her hands in delight. I was hoping I would have to help her finish it, but no dice- one bite was what I got. I wholeheartedly concur with her assessment- "they got the flavour balance *perfect* and the cheese pull was like something out of a dream." We may stop here again on the trip home just for one of those to call my own. We both made our sandwiches into lunch combos- for $2.99 you get a bag of chips and a beverage. We opted for a coffee and a can of Dr. Pepper. When the lady asked me how I take my coffee, I said "seriously. Very seriously." I needn't have worried- it was an amazing cup! Turns out it's Julius Meinl, and they import it all the way from Vienna. I ended up buying a kilo bag to take home. It cost more than lunch, and I'm not even sorry. Our lunch came to $30 before tip, and was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Food amazing, drinks amazing, staff is super kind, and super quick. Hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been

My friend and I walked in and immediately felt so welcome. I ordered a drink first and went back up later for a sandwich, and the barista remembered my name. It wasn't only me, but every customer that I watched while I was there was treated like family. Everything we ordered was amazing. My friend would recommend the piña colada smoothie and I would recommend the chicken caesar wrap! (Forgot to take pics sorry...)

Love this little shop! The bacon egg and cheese on English muffin was so good! We got to pick which type of cheese we wanted, and they used real egg & bacon - yum! The shop is very small, but very cute, and the service was very quick at 10AM on a Monday! We will be back!

Before going, I read all the reviews saying they had great breakfast sandwiches and I was not disappointed. I ordered online for an easy experience and my food is ready as soon as I got there I got a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant and added avocado-- which was totally worth it! They add a ton of avocado. The sandwich was delicious and it was still warm when I picked it up. I love how they fried the egg. It was almost over medium. I also got a large iced latte with lavender. I like how on their online ordering system, you can write comments, so I was able to specify the amount of lavender syrup I wanted. They finished off my drink and added ice when I got there to ensure the ice didn't melt and water down the drink while they're waiting for me to arrive. Would highly recommend getting food to go from here! They have a small seating area and it's a cute ambience. There was someone playing music on the piano in there. On a nice day, you could also easily find a place to eat your food outside along the creek!

On a super busy Saturday morning, we were thrilled to find ourselves in front of The Perfect Blend Cafe and we were able to stop in get some hot bevs and sit for a minute. The woman working was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hot chocolate was wonderful (and you can order "kid temp" to get it drink-able) with whip cream. The menu looked tasty, so we may visit for a snack next time we're in town.

This is my favorite coffee shop/cafe in Frederick. They have a lot of flavored latte options which I love--the sea salt caramel and honey caramel are too of my favorites. And I'm obsessed with the veggie bagel (pictured). It's SO good. I haven't tried their other options bc I love this sandwich so much, but I've heard their other food is also great! There's limited seating but more tables/chairs in the hallway and outside. The staff are so nice and the service is quick.

And saw the "under" orientation of the toilet paper, which violates the original patent for toilet paper holders from 1891, where the paper clearly goes over the top. The "over" configuration: * prevents the roll from brushing the wall * makes it easier to grab with one hand * reduces accidental unrolling * and, most importantly, does not make decent people feel like they're living in a lawless society. What you have here is bathroom anarchy. I must admit that tile and brushed metal fixtures actually look really nice, which somehow makes the backward roll even more upsetting. It's like a beautifully plated meal served on the floor. Moreover, the ceiling contains approximately 400 judgmental eyes observing you while you attempt to live your life. The wallpaper on the ceiling (on the ceiling!!!) has a pattern based on the "evil eye" motif (sometimes called nazar), which shows up in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern design. Traditionally it's supposed to ward off bad luck or jealousy. All it does in this case is confirm the establishment has abandoned reason and at least one of the people who work has met a psychedelic mushroom. Still, the vibe everywhere else in this place is amazing and the coffees are very very good!

There is a long bar area and also a smaller bar area near the cashier area for seating. The place is warm and cozy, definitely a place where the baristas will start to know your orders. We noticed an outdoor seating area but couldn't see the space fully to know how big it was. -service was friendly and served with smiles -I didn't see a whole lot of food options. Luckily, we came on a Saturday, when waffles are served. -tons of coffee, tea options. And hot cocoa for the kids. They even put whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. My daughter felt very fancy! -waffles were delicious! Fluffy and filling! Kid approved! Cons -possibly a few more food options. I only saw toast and waffles (only on weekends) We had a great experience and would absolutely return again!

Since the building used to be a gas station, the Cafe has placed picnic tables outside for those who want to enjoy the fresh air on a warm day. The decor is whimsical, warm and cozy. You can buy fresh produce from a mini farm stand inside the cafe as well as honey and other products. You'll find the standard drink fare on the menu: coffee and tea. There was a small sign near the register (I almost missed it) that stated apple cider was available, which I ended up choosing. I was little disappointed in the drink selection because I'd hoped to buy a matcha latte, but it was not on the menu above the register. I did discover that they do have matcha lattes on the *online* menu as well as other food items that were not advertised inside the cafe. The lady taking the orders was very nice, but I felt bad because she seemed a little overwhelmed. A gentleman stood in the kitchen baking and completing food orders. I noticed that there were fresh croissants and other baked goods sitting on the counter in the kitchen, but the only baked items available to purchase were cookies. I visited at approximately 9:45 on a Saturday morning (the cafe opened at 9:00), so I was surprised to see that none of the other baked good were displayed for purchase. I would have enjoyed a good croissant, but they were being kept in the back. The cafe was also eerily silent. There were maybe ten people inside, including small groups who arrived together, but no one spoke. Maybe everyone was a little bleary-eyed and still waking up, but is was kind of unnerving how silent everyone was. Don't get me wrong, it was the perfect setting for someone who needed to study, but no one was doing that. I certainly don't blame that on the Cafe, but it would be nice if there was some nice music playing softly in the background. I can't say that I had the best experience at The Station Market and Cafe, but I wouldn't deter others from trying it out themselves. Maybe I was there on an off day.
