Really nice shopping center and easy validation! Only critique is the amount of stores. Not many people were there and it looks like they put a lot of money into it. Nothing of interest here and they charge for parking. Waste of time and money. Tried speaking to variety of shops no one was friendly and some just handed out flyers and didn't speak English. The plaza is pretty look at and the public restrooms are well maintained. There aren't as many stores as there used to be, so you have to know what stores you want to shop. If you're just hoping to browse and find something, you might not be so lucky since most anchor stores have left. Five years ago, I used to come here 2-3 times a month. I haven't been back in a while and might not come back unless I know that the store I'm looking for is there. BCBG is still there, ANGL is now there, but Sephora and Macy's are both out (although the Macy's here wasn't as good as the one on Lake). read more

Went the paseo today. I was there only 40 mins and went to insert parking ticket. Charged $3.00 when it clearly states 90 mins free parking. Went to the attendant who when asked why I was being charged he looked at my ticket and said you have to pay. I asked why and he walked away from me saying something I couldn't hear. I said excuse me I can't hear you while you walk away from me. He turned back to me and yelled lady you've already paid the money. Take your car and go. I will NEVER go back to this facility with that kind of customer service. read more

Worst fucking parking lot ever. Drove around for 30 minutes only to find out that the guy forgot to put out the Lot Full sign. Had to pay $1.50 and never got to park. He sent us to a lot across the street and then the same thing happen there. Ended up having to pay five dollars at a lot that was in another direction. read more

Very dangerous when it rains. Meaning, when the tile floors of the mall are wet, it is a puddle of water that is impossible to walk through without falling. My date slipped and fell in the outdoor mall area, hurting her knee very badly. A person who works there (in one of the shops) saw it happen and said when it rains, dozens of people slip and fall. I would have give this outdoor mall a higher rating but their parking is awful. The management company they use doesn't seem to be taking care of business. This area is undergoing some major construction with a new hotel and retail shops after a Macy's building used to occupy on Colorado and Los Robles. There have been more vacancies recently because of the construction but h&m has a big store and there are still some good shops and restaurants here. The mall hosts some cool events like kids events and dancing every week in the summer. Parking is the biggest drawback but if you know the tricks it's more manageable. Here are some tips to help navigate the parking: 1. The underground parking can feel like wandering through a maze but there are typically more spots towards the west end of the lot. 2. There are parking structures across green street to the south and across marengo to the west that few people know about, but are still part of Paseo Colorado. 3. There's is a free 90 min validation machine outside the public restrooms under the steps by the courtyard. read more

I've never felt so uncomfortable walking through a shopping center. My son and nephew were walking around a fountain. I do understand the dangers that might occur if they climbed it but they were just around it. A security came up and just stood there staring at us with a terrible stink eye. I picked up my toddler and he cried as we walked away. We kept walking around and the security followed us around. I was walking with my brother, his wife, their kids, our parents and my son. I separated from them for a short period and felt eyes on my back and turned around and the security was right behind my son and I. My sister in law and mother saw this as well. I wasn't alone in feeling how uncomfortable it was. We bought a book from Buttercup and I was happy to leave this place. read more

Parking is not friendly. You can only validate once. Restaurant validation 2 hours or movie validation 4 hours. If you go eat and validate at restaurant you better nit change your mind on your way out and decide to catch a movie. Because you will pay 50$ for food $16+per person and 6+ for parking. Not one of the greatest shopping plaza ever. This place is so freaken big, yet it's so small at the same time. When I say big, it's not big as in lots of stores, but big as in, one store would take up an entire block. On top of that, the parking is just insane. Lame, lame, and more lame. The Sephora closed and I think the only reason why I'd come here at all is because it's conveniently located to use as a meeting spot for friends when exploring Old Town, Arclight, Islands, DSW, Gelson's and that's it. Place is still nice but feels quite dead. read more

Come here mainly for the movie theaters and restaurants. Usually have great specials at yard house so I like going there for happy hour. The arclight here is pretty nice. Spacious and clean theaters. Not too much people which I like. Only thing is parking is not free they validate, but only for a few hours. Shopping is so so. Don't really like the shops here. They have bath and body, happy nails, bcbg, Tommy Bahamas and now a Starbucks that recently moved in. Some businesses come and go here. This shopping plaza leaves a lot to be desired. Parking here is horrendous. Yes, they have their own parking lot downstairs, but its pretty useless. The day I went in they blocked off about a quarter of the lot with caution tape. I had to circle around quite a few times to look for a spot. Its also really hard to navigate your way around the parking garage. Traffic in this garage basically only flows one way. If you miss a turn to check that part of the garage you're outta luck because you have to drive all the way down the garage, then circle back to where you were. The exit signs don't lead you towards the exits, I am a very competent driver and I followed all the signs to go to the exits. They took me and the car in front of me around in a circle. We both did not know where we were going. He had to get out of his car to ask me if I knew my way out. I was also quite displeased by the directory. I was looking for DSW and I found it on the directory but I didn't know where I was...there wasn't any "you are here" indicator. You literally have to look around at where you are. Unfortunately, the store behind me wasn't on the directory and the store in front of me was getting renovated so I couldn't really use the directory to find out where I wanted to go relative to where I was... read more

Its been a few years since I've been Pasadena and so I thought I would stop by Colorado St. while I was in Southern California. I was quite disappointed with Paseo Colorado. There were not many shops that interested me to even walk in to browse. It also seemed like everything was spread out too far. Being from northern California I think that Santa Row is much nicer that Paseo. read more

Every time I go here more and more of the parking equipment is out of order. They don't seem to care much if you have to hunt all over the garage for a working pay machine or if you have to back out of two exit lanes before you find an exit gate that works. Nice outdoor mall with a Macy's (which is weird since there's another one just a few blocks away) and one of the nicest Gelson's you'll find anywhere. Plenty of good restaurant choices from a tea-only shoppe to a branch of the Yard House. But what's with the parking? You mean I only get 90 minutes free parking with my validation? That's not much time to get a decent meal in and still have time to shop. Even Century City and the Grove give you two hours. What politico nutjob in Pasadena City Hall came up with that number? Came here to browse while waiting for a family member. I must say I know it's been awhile since I was last here (perhaps when it first opened?) but mall has definitely taken a nosedive. I came in looking for a Baby-G watch and after circling the watch counter where they are located at every other Macy's I finally asked an associate and that particular store doesn't carry them. I ventured out into the outdoor mall area and there were very few people there (3pm on a Wednesday during the Christmas shopping season). Then I kept walking and didn't recognize the names of the stores, which were empty as well. Even the vendors with their little stands in the middle of the walkway were sitting around. It just looked so sad so I left in time to not pay for parking in the structure across the street from Macy's read more

I live here so have seen the Mall from the inside out . It's a facade that is not working very well, lots of empty stores, schlocky stores & not-so-hot restaurants. Rubio's, DSW & Arclight get 5 stars, however. The best thing about the Mall are the people, the visitors & the staff, and the cleanliness. The crew keep this place almost spotless! I love love loved living there. Patricia is amazing she signed me up for leasing my place and any questions Carol is the manager. They are so professional and great team. They have taken care of us while we lived there. Only reason we left because we bought a home. I still miss it there. Really enjoyed this Mall. Had a little of everything, and really good restaurants. Very neat, clean and safe feeling.

Nice place to walk around for a bit. Extremely close to the hotel I was staying at (Sheraton) and offered many restaurant options. Really nice place to hang out, but not much to do there if you're not watching a movie or having a meal there. There's only so many times that a girl can keep visiting Macy's or the Coach store (only went once since I wasn't in the mood for shopping). Maybe my own tastes have changed but I think that this place has a lot of potential. They should focus on giving their visitors unique experiences that they wouldn't get from going to another mall. read more

What is it with open air place and teens. It seems to attract them like flies to shit. I seen it here at Renaissance in Alhambra and partially the mall in Arcadia. I just hate all of these teens just hanging out hence why I think there was all this violence a couple of month ago. Also why would they hang out there if most of the stores adults can barely afford. Wow, you guys are some of the most ungrateful ruffians I've ever seen. THAT being said, I give this place a solid 3 stars. It is ok. I've been here a few years and many of the shops aren't really my style, neither are the restaurants. But they aren't TERRIBLE. And even if you don't like it you can kindly exit and walk further down Colorado Blvd. where you're BOUND to find a store of interest. Speaking of which, if you're around my age (teens to twenty-something) you'd probably prefer the shops west of the Paseo; H&M, Forever21, American Apparel and Urban Outfitters are all within the same region. And for crying out loud, stop complaining about parking! Yeah it sucks, yeah they charge you, but if you don't want that place looking like Compton, you need to just pay the damn parking fee and support the city! read more
