Some prompts from Google indicate that it is a larger area than it actually is. It is the original Bullock's department store in Pasadena. It has great historical and architectural significance. This area was developed to be a leisurely place to enjoy community, shopping, food. It was a new concept design specifically for this area. It is a walkable and enjoyable experience to shop and eat in this area. Now that it is Macy's they have continued to develop small boutique stores located alongside the lower edge of the building along Lake. Some of the small boutique stores have changed. The new stores have become very popular. Foundation stores like Trader Joe's and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf keep bringing in new customers. It is important to check opening hours for the different stores as they vary from store to store. Parking is available in the Macy's parking lot adjacent. I believe it's 3 hours parking but double check always the printed signs. The last time I walked by the area I was impressed at the generational diversity. Nice to realize that some of the historic influences of the past are being carried on by a new generation. When visiting this is a great place to consider. It gives you a good foundation for understanding how Pasadena developed its friendly atmosphere. Look forward to coming back often!

It's not just a standard retail shopping center, but an elevated version with a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by quaint patios, great selection of unique stores, variety of specialty shops, and good handful of casual + fine dining options. It's the next level shopping and dining experience you will remember. The sophisticated ambiance creates intrigue, wonder, and delight for visitors from all around near and far. Come enjoy the cool restaurants, fun shopping, spectacular dining and outdoor seating that you may not find anywhere else! Don't forget to check out both north and south shops. Btw, free parking is available located closer to Erewhon.

There's no parking attendants in the pit parking at all, so if it does get fisted and full, you probably won't know until it's too late and you'll definitely be circling a lot. I remember WAY back in the day when PMX used to be here and that was my experience going around the Paseo, but I guess nowadays, the only reason I'd be here is due to Cat Con or if I ever wanted to, Anime Pasadena. No matter what you do, unless you're super lucky somehow and can read signs, you will have to pay for parking or if you're okay walking from super far away. Currently, the Paseo is home to these businesses: -Regal Theaters -Panini Kabob Grill -Bath and Body Works -Equinox (lol) -DSW -Starbucks -Wushiland -Yard House (perfect for anime cons) There's also some jewelry stores, a book store, I think, the antique mall, and more stores I guess for people who live nearby. There's way better options in other parts of Pasadena that don't cost as much to park at. Unless I really have to, I wouldn't have to go out of my way to go here, more enjoyable parts of Pasadena with more dining and shopping options for sure.
