There are a number of stores, offices, and food establishments located in this beautiful building. It is worth walking in to see the incredible staircase. It is nice to take a look at the directory as you can see that there are a number of places that are worth window shopping or utilizing their special expertise. I have often used the tailor and enjoyed a cup of coffee with one of their small tables located in The colonnade. A couple of other stores I have made use of are the salons. The Strength Shoppe is a one-on-one workout studio with excellent, knowledgeable staff. The last time I was there I noticed a number of new opportunities for a discerning shopper. While you can enter from the South Lake Avenue entrance you can also enter from the Shoppers Lane entrance. There are some outside patio tables available for enjoying the weather. Parking is convenient if you use the South Lake Avenue Parking Area alongside Shoppers Lane. When you park here READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY. Follow the instructions carefully. These lots are monitored constantly. There are times during the day and evening when there is free parking. Never assume that you have a short time to park for free! There's no parking attendants in the pit parking at all, so if it does get fisted and full, you probably won't know until it's too late and you'll definitely be circling a lot. I remember WAY back in the day when PMX used to be here and that was my experience going around the Paseo, but I guess nowadays, the only reason I'd be here is due to Cat Con or if I ever wanted to, Anime Pasadena. No matter what you do, unless you're super lucky somehow and can read signs, you will have to pay for parking or if you're okay walking from super far away. Currently, the Paseo is home to these businesses: -Regal Theaters -Panini Kabob Grill -Bath and Body Works -Equinox (lol) -DSW -Starbucks -Wushiland -Yard House (perfect for anime cons) There's also some jewelry stores, a book store, I think, the antique mall, and more stores I guess for people who live nearby. There's way better options in other parts of Pasadena that don't cost as much to park at. Unless I really have to, I wouldn't have to go out of my way to go here, more enjoyable parts of Pasadena with more dining and shopping options for sure.

When you walk around this shopping area you will find a myriad of different ways to spend your money. All well worth the effort. Make sure that you travel all the way back to Shoppers Lane, as a number of businesses are on the other side of the road under a parking structure. Green Street has long been one of Pasadena's favorite outside inside places to eat. Great service and great food. In the front of the commons along Lake Avenue you have both Mercado for Mexican cuisine and Dan modern great Chinese food. Uovo for some fresh made Italian noodles always adds to your eating experience. Williams-Sonoma has a great location here as well. Above the ground floor you'll find many offices that provide all of the services that you can think of. There is a directory at the entrance just off of Shoppers Lane by the entrance to the elevators. Lawyers, accountants, financial assistance, realty offices, and other services are available. The Commons has hours from 11:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. . They do have gates in this area that can be locked. Parking available along the South Lake Avenue corridor and in the multi-structure along Shoppers Lane. This is a great area to walk and enjoy Southern California weather. We also visited Pet Food Express where we were able to pet a cute Corgi and visited the Macy nearby. I parked in the parking lot behind Nick's and depending when you go, you might have to pay or it will be free. Since I parked my car after 7pm on a Wednesday, it's free. I wasn't sure at first and tried paying at the parking machine and also through the mobile app but it wasn't working. It wasn't until I walked inside Pet Food Express and the worker let me know they stop enforcing the parking time limit after 5pm on weekdays.

I came right when they opened on a weekday, so I was able to avoid the weekend crowds…read more Since I came early, I was also able to find parking inside the free parking garage, which was amazing since I came in the middle of a heatwave and having my car in the shade meant it wasn't cooking in the sun while I was inside the mall. I was a little confused because I took an elevator which spat me outside when I thought this was an indoor mall. It turns out that some stores are outside, while the majority are inside. If you're looking for somewhere to go in the middle of a heatwave in LA, this place has amazing AC. At one point I was even rubbing my arms because it was so cold inside. I'm a sucker for anything cute, so I was glad there were so many Japanese stores that reminded me of my trip to Tokyo. A couple of the stores even had the rows of vending machines that drop out capsules with various items inside. It was disappointing to see one of the stores had a broken token machine, so you couldn't use the vending machines even if you wanted to. Both the stores and restaurants are a mix of reasonably priced to expensive. If you go to one of the actual restaurants instead of one of the fast food places at the food court, I'd recommend making reservations since the one I went to is notorious for having long lines. Both at the store and the restaurant I went to, the employees greeted me and were friendly, asking if I'd want any help or letting me know about discounts they had that day. All malls are pretty much the same, so I wouldn't go out of my way just to visit this one, but if you're in the area, need somewhere to hide from the heat, the free AC and parking here are definitely a draw.

But most surprising of all was finding a whole 99 Ranch inside the mall. After dinner, we did some shopping here. Later at night, I came back here to play some games in Dave & Buster's. But the signs can improve a bit for better direction. I was so confused how to get to the parking near D&B entrance. Also, the parking garage seemed under maintained. But overall a really great place for both locals and tourists.

It is often one of the best places along the Southlake shopping quarter to meet up with friends. The architecture is stunning, fashioned after the Burlington arcade in London. The ceiling is made up of skylights covering the entire corridor from the Lake Avenue entrance to the Shoppers Lane entrance. For many years the businesses and offices along here have been known for their friendly service. They have benches and tables for customers. There is a parking lot along Shoppers Lane with paid parking. There are areas that have free parking with time limits. Please read the signs carefully so that you don't end up taking home a ticket as a souvenir. But there is usually plenty of parking depending upon the time of year and time of day. Walking through this area always puts a smile on my face. I look forward to coming back and just enjoying the incredible architecture and it's attention to detail.

The payment is made before getting into your car, which means you're not tied up trying to get out while the person ahead is fumbling for a credit card and can't figure out how to insert it correctly. It's a fine parking garage.
