They understood exactly what we wanted -- a blend of grace and nature, with the stunning backdrop of Lake Tahoe -- and executed it flawlessly. As soon as we met Vanessa and the team at One Fine Day, we knew instantly they were the ones to pull off our vision. We had an absolute blast from the moment we started ideating to our last visit where we picked up our boxes of belongings and said goodbye-for-now. My husband and I were equally sad (still sad!) to no longer have our standing meeting with Vanessa after more than a year of discussions, tastings, decisions and getting to know each other. Vanessa has a remarkably calm, collected presence. She's just as organized and detail-oriented. She's exceptionally talented at balancing ideas and perspectives, turning wild hairs and ridiculousness into event magic, and communicating with kindness and grace. Our interactions with Stephanie and the rest of the team were no different. In addition to our wedding and reception at High Camp, they helped us plan our Friday Welcome event at West Shore Café which by guest count, was larger than our wedding and reception. They helped us arrange a "kids village" and location for our after-party. Every detail across multiple events -- from the decor, vendor selection, flow, and tending to the various needs of 250+ guests -- was flawless. We're profoundly grateful to One Fine Day for making our wedding weekend more than we could have ever dreamed it to be. If we ever need help planning an event in the future, there's only one call we'll make.

Stop searching and just hire Taylor and her team with Revel and Rye to plan your wedding already!!!…read more Hiring a wedding planner in Lake Tahoe is a high-stakes decision: you need someone experienced, professional, and knows the ins-and-outs of the wedding industry in Lake Tahoe. Taylor, Christy, and the Revel and Rye team executed our vision flawlessly for our June 2025 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! From the Introduction Call, Design Board meeting, and regular check-ins with Taylor, we were impressed with how responsive she was to our questions, and she even met with us in person to tour venues together. We didn't have to worry about a single thing! We decided to have our ceremony and reception at a State Park, which presented a huge logistical challenge with an extremely limited time of 2 hours to set-up a venue for 80+ guests from scratch! Taylor successfully coordinated with all of our vendors to create a beautiful ceremony and reception space, that left our guests in awe! The best part about hiring Taylor, is that she takes great pride in her work and is passionate about what she does! She's not just a wedding planner - she is a Creative Director, and we were so amazed at the ideas her team came up with, from wedding favors to signage, based on our wedding vision! Afterwards, we received multiple comments about how smoothly everything went and how every detail was thoughtfully executed. It allowed me and my husband to truly be present on our wedding day. You will be in the best hands with Revel and Rye!

They worked with me and were very adaptable as I changed my mind a couple of times. They arrived right on time and had to hassle with a huge flight of stairs from the street to get it up to the deck where the wedding furniture was. I will say, that the farm tables I rented were pretty scratched up, however, i had table runners that covered a lot of it so it wasn't noticeable once the tables were decorated. One farm table leg fell off after the crew left, and we didn't have the tools to fix it--fortunately we had an extra full-length linen and table that worked in its' place for my guests to sit at instead, and Eventmasters refunded my money for that table rental. My recommendation is to inspect all of the tables and make sure nothing is broken and everything is structurally sound before the crew leaves so you don't have to scramble to make sure you have seating for everyone. Other than that, I was very happy with my choice to rent from Eventmasters--their pricing is very reasonable and their inventory is widely varied for tastes of all kinds. Thank you!

Jessica is very organized, detailed oriented and knowledgeable about everything wedding that she made the whole wedding planning thing seem easy! My fiance and I were so impressed after the initial consultation and knew we had to have her as our planner. Right after we booked OUATE, my fiance and I had a meeting with Jessica and basically told her everything we wanted, what we didn't want and what we dreamed of having but didn't think we could afford. She also had us fill out a questionnaire to get a sense of our style, get to know us and get an idea of what we envision for our dream wedding. After reviewing everything we gave her, she created a design board with everthing we had talked about. I loved how we got to go thourgh and point out what we liked and what we didn't like. This gave us a great sense of what our wedding was going to look like. Since I had a very hard time picking a theme and staying with that direction, this really helped me get on track and focus on one thing at a time. This also really helped me stop stressing and feeling overwhelmed and let me enjoy the wedding planning process. As a bride, I knew I wanted to be involved in the fun stuff but not the boring, budget related stuff. Jessica was amazing at handling all the stuff I didn't want to do or did not know how to do. We gave her our total budget and she planned around that very well and helped us stay on track. She also did all of the orders (which were a ton since we had our wedding at private estate and had to bring everything in) and delt with the most of our vendors. She has a great working relationship with a ton of wedding vendors in Reno that she was able to get things done and get them done fast! And she had wonderful recommendations for our wedding vendors. We loved them all! During the whole wedding planning process Jessica and her sister, Cassie kept us on track and made sure we were getting things done when they needed to be done. I loved how they took all of my ideas and wishes and made them happen without any questions. The whole time, they were professional but so nice and fun to work with! It made wedding planning a lot of fun! The day of the wedding, I had absolutley nothing to worry about. I sat in the house and got ready while Jessica, Cassie and her team set everything up and dealt with all the vendors. The wedding was not too big but the whole production of it was a lot! We had a ton of flowers, a fire pit, a dessert bar, photo booth, a lounge and a ton of details such a signage and personalized items. Jesssica and her team were so organized and executed everything PERFECTLY! It was above and beyond anything I had even imagined. They took my vision to the next level and made it better than I could had ever wished for. Jessica and Cassie kept the wedding on track the whole night and everything went off witthout a hitch. My husband and I nor our wedding party or family had to lift a finger, it was amazing! We got to spend our time enjoying ourselves while OUATE delt with everything else. Jessica, Cassie and the entire OUATE team are amazing!! They made planning our wedding an absolute joy and I would HIGHLY recommend them for wedding and party planning. And don't get me wrong, an average reception isn't necessarily a bad thing, but a wonderful wedding reception is a wonderful thing. When your guests are dancing to beat the band at the end of the evening, when they don't wanna go home, cuz it seems like the fun's never gonna stop, when that happens you know you had a great DJ or DJs as far as Katie and Matt are concerned, cuz you get two for the price of one. Vesta and I have photographed a lotta weddings and wedding receptions and we've seen our fair share of DJs and Katie and Matt are among the best in Reno. And they're fun people too. So, you can't go wrong with them. And it's really nice when your DJ is personable, friendly and actually cares about the bride and groom and their guests. And it's really nice when they keep the reception rolling along the way it's supposed too. Vesta and I photographed one wedding where the DJ forgot the bouquet and garter toss. Another where the DJ didn't do the bouquet toss till after most people had gone home, cuz he was so boring and there were only two girls left to catch the flowers. We've worked with Katie and Matt twice and both times they steered the reception along without issue, while staying in tune with the bride and her wishes, even though her wishes may change throughout the evening. Like us, Katie and Matt put the bride first. They are there to do a job and they work for the same person we do, the bride. Her wishes come first. It's her wedding, her special day. Not all DJs know this. Sadly, neither do all photographers. We know it and one of the reasons we like working with Katie and Matt so much is because they know it too. PS. In the photos I've attached to this review, I've included photographs of Katie and Matt, photos of them working and photos of dancers enjoying their work.

Here is why Lindsay is worth e.v.e.r.y. penny: From the moment I picked up the phone for our consult, Lindsay was on my team. Her warm demeanor instantly makes you feel like you're talking to an old friend or family member. She is organized, professional, and experienced: she knows the ins and outs of the industry and maintains good working relationships with local vendors. Her services range from month-of-coordination to full service wedding/event planning, so she truly can meet every couple's needs. She listens to your vision and gives helpful suggestions along the way that still allows you to feel like your event is a personal one instead of "cookie-cutter" or what the vendor wants.... Something that sets Lindsay apart from other vendors is how she keeps an open line of communication to all of her clients, even if you've booked her for month-of-coordination like I did. Despite being incredibly busy, Lindsay was always willing to answer any of my questions promptly throughout my planning process. She also recommended some truly amazing vendors that we cannot imagine having our wedding without in hindsight. Hiring Lindsay was best decision I made in our 15 months of planning because it wouldn't have all been possible without her. Despite all my efforts planning each individual part of my wedding and hiring my own vendors independently, none of it would have come together cohesively on the day of if Lindsay hadn't been there (since there are always last minute things that don't go EXACTLY as you planned them, like the weather in our case). Lindsay gracefully ensured my other vendors stuck to their timelines and stayed out of each others' way and also helped us pivot our ceremony to indoors at the last minute when the weather took a turn for the worse. There is nothing that can go wrong on your day when you have Lindsay there behind the scenes to create that perfect day of your dreams. Thank you so much, Lindsay, for being part of our best day!!!
