Two perfectly capable men watched me lug it past them in the store then watched me from the store windows as I figured out how to load it in the van myself. Luckily it wasn't heavy, just awkward. Now for the issue- I want to state that the saleslady that I worked with was super nice and was trying to work with me and her boss- I showed her the chair I was looking at. Online, it came up as 649.00. It wouldn't show that price on her end, it's 799.00. So I show her my phone, on their companies' website, with that price. She goes to her boss, twice, and he will not budge on the price. I was asked if I'd still like to purchase it, and I said no thanks, why would I pay $150 more for the same item...? So I came home, and I have just purchased it at the cheaper price online. Seems pretty lame that they lost a sale because they wouldn't honor the price that their online store shows... I felt bad for the saleslady, I'm assuming she works on commission so she had to lose out on a sale. There is also a Fine Jewelery section which you typically do not find at a busines like this. Setup like a department store... you may view the jewelry items under glass. Value? Well, the things I am typically looking for are artificial plants like a cactus for my patio or for an indoor area I am trying to refresh. They are extremely reasonable as opposed to Target or Home Goods. From reading the reviews, customers have found some nice items. I think World Market is a great place for finding unique gifts or items from your home - some items are pricy, but if you're lucky, they usually have a nice selection of marked down items. The merchandise was stylish, fun, and get this ... reasonably priced. The pricing varies from under $10 and upwards. Right now the merchandise included seasonal Halloween, Fall, and Christmas decor. But I did end up buying a $15 gray colored desk clock. I luved the color, easy to read large numbers, quiet non ticking operation, and the price. The staff was super helpful and welcoming.
