We knew what we did and didn't want and in no way were we set on buying at this store. That was until we met Michael. He greeted us with a big smile without coming off as pushy or overbearing. We let Michael know our wants and needs for a couch, this man had an 6th sense and he instantly took us to the couch we ended up purchasing. This couch was big and beautiful. It felt built to last while also comfortable for my family and I. Michael explained the pros of the couch. He showed us all it was capable of and why we would love it. The price on it was more than fair compared to all others in the market. The warranty was what really assured us this was going to be our couch of the future. Purchase was smooth and pain free. Setting up the delivery was fast and we can't wait to enjoy our purchase. I will definitely be back when we are in the market for more house furniture. Thanks to the crew at American Furniture. Michael and Steve were super cool and nice to our family.

They ended up…read morenot having the exact chair that I was looking for, but they had other items in the same family of seating so I tested them out and showed them the one I wanted online and was assured they could order it for me. Now for the issue- I want to state that the saleslady that I worked with was super nice and was trying to work with me and her boss- I showed her the chair I was looking at. Online, it came up as 649.00. It wouldn't show that price on her end, it's 799.00. So I show her my phone, on their companies' website, with that price. She goes to her boss, twice, and he will not budge on the price. I was asked if I'd still like to purchase it, and I said no thanks, why would I pay $150 more for the same item...? So I came home, and I have just purchased it at the cheaper price online. Seems pretty lame that they lost a sale because they wouldn't honor the price that their online store shows... I felt bad for the saleslady, I'm assuming she works on commission so she had to lose out on a sale. I purchased a couch at this location about 7 years ago and was super happy with my purchase and the interaction. This time, not so much. Not sure if I'll even bother going in to try and purchase from them again.

I couldn't find anything I liked in the store so the salesman said they could order anything I wanted online. The salesman was nice so instead of just ordering myself I had him do it so he would get the sale. He didn't show me the itemized transaction and I was distracted (working from my phone) so I didn't ask to see it; that's my mistake. The frame was delivered 2 days later and it's the wrong frame; the salesman actually ordered the wrong frame and the delivery guys didn't check the order with me before assembling it. They were over an hour past the delivery window, it was the end of the day so I'm sure they just wanted to go home. Since it's been assembled I can't return it so I'm stuck with a frame I do not really like. It's my fault too for not checking but if the salesman or delivery man had bothered to check with me I would have caught it. I'm bummed, I've ordered Ashley furniture for years and never had any issues. This one just happens to be pretty huge,

I wasn't needing any "new to me" furniture, decor, or jewelry. But you know how that goes. This place is large in square footage. Stocked with gently previously owned furniture, home decor, and jewelry. The furniture quality is outstanding. The kinds of pieces solidly made not shoddy. The styles range from mid century, cherry wood Asian themed, modern farmhouse, and contemporary. So many styles. The pieces are staged in showroom type setting making everything eye catching, so much so I caught myself mentally doing a home makeup over in my mind. Hubs even found a framed lithograph art print of 1984 Laker Kareem Abdul Jabar by LeRoy Neiman. Then I happened upon the jewelry section. Letting out a big sigh, I luv looking at jewelry. They have beautiful pieces and some high end brands such as Rolex and Piguet watches, Tiffany. My eye was drawn to the vintage art deco jewelry set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) of gold and lapis. Very unique. All the jewelry looked to be in excellent condition. The woman working the counter had a great attitude, so fun and easy to talk with. She entertained my gawking and questions. Not pushy in pressing a sale. Plus she was knowledgeable.

Customer service is readily available if you need it. It is nice to be able to meander however without employees breathing down your neck. This is a very big store. Things are well organized and in great condition. So many items from indoor/outdoor furniture, artificial plants, couch pillows, mirrors, framed art, and seasonal decor (see Mrs. Clause:)). There is also a Fine Jewelery section which you typically do not find at a busines like this. Setup like a department store... you may view the jewelry items under glass. Value? Well, the things I am typically looking for are artificial plants like a cactus for my patio or for an indoor area I am trying to refresh. They are extremely reasonable as opposed to Target or Home Goods. From reading the reviews, customers have found some nice items. Next time you are cruising through the TJ's parking lot and have some time on your hands consider a walk through this fun and interesting store. Who knows... you may find your very own special treasure! Happy shopping.

There are snacks, chocolates, candles, coffee syrups - even self care items! Most items are from around the world - they even had a whole display of different Sakes! I love their mugs and glasses so much - I bought a mushroom shaped glass for my coffee that was on clearance! They also have a great selection of throw pillows and other home decorating items. I think World Market is a great place for finding unique gifts or items from your home - some items are pricy, but if you're lucky, they usually have a nice selection of marked down items. Everything was well organized and the staff was really welcoming! I'll be back to this location the next time I am in Folsom! Check them out!

Pricing is comparable and some are cheaper than the domestic counterparts at my local grocery store. This section is in the back left corner of the shop. I also like their selection of furniture ... lamps, sofas, dining sets. The various styles are farmhouse, bohemian, modern contemporary, and mid century. Pricing is not outrageous. The shop in Folsom is clean, organized. Staff are kind. Like all other shops, gone are the days where extra staff walk the floor providing assistance. If assistance is needed, just go to the cashier at the front registers.
