The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. But most of all the food is delicious and they really aim to please. Always a nice size serving. Our waitress was very pleasant. We try to stop whenever we're passing through. I really enjoy their chicken cutlet Parmesan . And of course, the mozzarella sticks.!! Inside and outside seating. read more

Food is always authentic home made Italian. Service is great. Ambience is nice. It's quaint and relaxed. I highly recommend the lasagna!

Incredibly delicious, efficient lovely service, incredibly low prices! Everything is yummy!

We found this super cute family owned restaurant today on the way to Naugatuck. It's very small so get reservations. We were fortunate as they had a table. Immediately our server was there to get our drink order. They bring bread and the table has amazing olive oil, we asked for parmigiana and red peppers and made a mix to dip in. Delicious. I ordered the lasagna and JT the Chicken Marsala. The lasagna comes with an incredibly delicious Caesar salad with homemade croutons and dressing. But guys, the lasagna is truly the absolute best we have ever had. The recipe is Minas (owner) with her son. Seriously, amazing. Service was over the top and the cute restaurant, while quite small puts out some of the best Italian cuisine we have enjoyed. The ingredients were so fresh, homemade, and the bread offered upon arriving is incredible. You have to come!! read more

A true hidden gem! Antonio's has that classic, no-frills Italian comfort that just feels right. The portions are extremely generous, each dish tastes like a home cooked meal, and you can tell the recipes have been loved for years. Each entree came with a house salad with choice of dressing and bread came out warm from the oven. The chicken parm was tender, saucy, but also crispy breading. It was served over tortellini in vodka sauce which was indulgent. The rustica pasta had a nice ratio of pasta to sausage to broccoli rabe. Servers treat you like family and there was a steady takeout window as well. I will definitely be back! read more

My hair dresser recommended Antonio's to me and I am so glad she did. I love the food. It is authentic and delicious. This is my 3rd time now coming! Our food is great each time. Most recently we sat on the patio for the first time, it was so nice. The staff was really attentive, even though the majority of the tables were seated inside. I got the lasagna poppers as an app and chicken Marsala as my meal. The bread you get with your meal is great too. Portions are really generous. We always love the lasagna poppers, I've never had anything like them. We will keep coming back. read more

3.2.25 This place is a win win from start to finish. It's a smaller cozy Italian family run restaurant with food that's so tasty. Delicious actually. They're a little hidden gem goldmine. They're stuck right in plain sight but unassuming. Their service is always kind and caring. Genuine sincere hospitality. They're located right off of the highway. Easy access in either direction. The parking lot is also on the smaller side but I've never had an issue finding a spot. I've been coming here for quite a while and tried many different items from their menu. The one that sticks out the most to me is their amazing lasagna. It's the perfect balance of pasta, sauce and cheese. It's just wet & saucy enough without being messy. I don't like lasagna that's in the drier side or a lil pasty side. I've done take out and dined in and I can tell you that their to go food travels well. Almost forgot about their bread. Think it's made on the premises but not positive. It's so good it tastes like homemade to me. So I'm sticking with that until I know for sure or not. But still loving it. Their prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get but more importantly the quality of food you receive. That's worth the price. Loving you Antonio's. My only nitpicking tidbit is the wait time for to go food when I've called for pickup. But I knew there's plenty things in life to be more worried about than this. Only my two cents worth. Still a worthy 5 ***** review in my book that's well worth it. read more

What a fantastic Italian restaurant. Quality food and ingredients. Portions were much more than any of us expected. We were a party of 6 people and not a disappointment among us. Flavors were spot on and everything tasted fresh. Waitress was knowledgeable attentive and friendly. Ambiance was that of a small relaxing family neighborhood place. read more

This is such a gem of a classic Italian restaurant! The menu is extensive plus great Pizza options. It's family run and they take such pride in the food and service to the customers. It's small place so reservations are necessary. Salt of the earth folks. Treat yourself to a great dinner or getting takeout. If I lived closer I would eat there more often! read more

The food here is excellent for a little family place in the valley. Directly off route 8 north / south the restaurant is on the right before a small shopping center past the firehouse. Interior is small but does have plenty of seating when not very busy. I have never made a reservation and most times early enough especially on weekend ls we have gotten a table or waited minimal time. I have also done plenty of take out with no issues in ordering or getting food as they have an entrance / window for pick ups. The food is delicious thry make fantastic pizza but I prefer and I have had the pasta in a cream sauce with chicken and cherry peppers which is always delicious. Have also had the carpel chicken and the thick cut pork chops in a Demi glaze with cherry peppers as well , get the theme I like some heat with the sweetness for an offset. So if your in the valley whether pick up / takeout or your looking a nice family run Italian eatery then stop on in. https://www.theoriginalantoniosmenu.com/ read more

Always a good time, always good food, always consistent with their flavor and quality. Unlike most Italian restaurants nowadays, this place still serves a salad before your entree. They give you bread to snack on as well before any food arrives. It's small, cozy, but with plenty of seating inside. The place is clean, easy to navigate, and has a cozy inviting feeling. I have been going here for over 10 years now and won't stop doing so. The service is always great, they greet you when you walk in, seat you, and get right to it- no beats skipped. Highly recommend going here if you're looking for absolutely delicious Italian cuisine, that's super affordable and reasonably portioned . I will say though, I was surprised to see that they serve canola oil in their oil dispensers at the table. I use olive oil for cooking, frying, everything , so I'd like to say I'm easily able to identify even a blend. read more

We went to Antonio's on Sunday and were beyond impressed. The space is warm and cozy. You feel like you're visiting family. The staff is so welcoming and kind. I don't have enough wonderful things to say about them. The food was wonderful! So homey yet creative. I'm very picky about where I eat Italian and we already plan to return. The dishes were flavorful and comforting. We focused on the specials menu and were not disappointed in the least! We had fried mozzarella, pepperoni and onion hot honey flat bread, broccoli rave, braised beef ravioli, chicken parm alla vodka, and ricotta cheesecake. There wasn't a bad bite to be had. Make sure to discover this hidden gem for yourself! read more

If you're looking for an amazing Italian dinner then this is definitely a must visit spot. The food is incredible and the service is even better. It is a family owned establishment and they make it very known - everyone there feels like family and you are greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. The interior is up-scale and perfect for a night out with family and friends, or date night. Plenty of parking on the side of the building or the street. I could recommend any of their dishes. The chicken Parmesan with vodka was incredible. They told me they sell over 200 a week and that is no surprise to me. The hot honey pepperoni pizza is also top of my list, and the caramelized onions were a great addition to the pie. Check out their appetizers, desserts, and specials too because truly there is so much they have to offer. read more

Best Italian food ever. Better than any restaurant I've been to in New Haven and I've been to a lot!!!!

I just realized I haven't written a better updated review for Antonio's in all of the years I've been coming here, so it's time for me to rectify that! My fiancé has lived 2 minutes up the road for years, and I live less than 10 minutes away, so Antonio's has been a local go-to for us for years. They serve fresh Italian bread before the meal, and if you've been visiting as long as we have, you know to ask for the white bean hummus to dip it in (trust me, you won't regret it - we sometimes buy a pint to take home)! The whole family works here, and you NEED to make a reservation any time of the day you want to dine here, because they're always packed and it's a smaller space. Their pizzas and dinners are delicious, and we especially love the meatballs for an appetizer. Antonio's is truly the heart of Beacon Falls! read more

Love the pasta fagioli and bread and hummus. Tuscan salad too - perfect lunch. Thursday meal deal perfect for my family also.

Great place and service, excellent food for good prices. I would definitely go again! Small location but beautiful atmosphere

Five stars for Antonio's! I think my wife and I have found our new favorite Italian restaurant. Love this place and everything about, convenient parking lot, opera music playing and of course the food and service. We came the night before Valentine's Day and were seated. Place is cozy, not as big as I thought, about 12-15 tables. For an app we got the regular calamari, I say regular because they have different styles, a General Tso's, a Misto and they had a New York style on special. The portions are enormous. We received a full salad bowl size of calamari with some lemon and of course marinara sauce, delicious we even had some to bring home. It was perfectly fried, lightly breaded and amazing, could have eaten the whole bowl if an entree wasn't coming. I also appreciated the downtime between the app and the entree, enough for me to digest my food. Have to highlight the fresh bread as well, they were generous with refilling that once empty. I got the rustica for dinner. It was broccoli rabe, sausage, cavatelli, garlic and oil. Again, huge portion and delicious, I usually don't have leftovers but I did on this day, can't wait to eat it again later. My wife got the Chicken Parm with pasta, two huge pieces of chicken and she got the vodka sauce on it, loved it. I can't say enough good things about this place, family style and you get the most bang for your buck, will absolutely be back soon! read more

We came here Saturday and it was a wonderful time. The food was DELICIOUS. We started with the fried calamari with the Gorgonzola & peppers ( there's 2 or 3 versions) and omg it was huge and the best I might have over tried...and I'm Italian! We also got the Eggplant rolatini app and it was hot and divine. For an entree I got Chicken Cacciatore and it was loaded with mushrooms, peppers and sauce and I'm still dreaming about it. Soooooo good. This restaurant is a tiny little hole in the whole find. It's very cute and cozy with lights and traditional Italian checkered tablecloths. Loved it. The service was so kind, friendly and warm. I am 100% going back!! read more

OMG! A friend had recommended The Original Antonio's last month and I finally decided to made a reservation for last Saturday night. I'm of Italian descent and know great Italian food when I taste it. This restaurant has it all - great food, great service and great ambiance. We had the Mama's Meatballs for an appetizer - I thought I made good meatballs using my Sicilian grandmother's recipe, but these put mine to shame. Absolutely delicious! My wife ordered the seafood Fra Diovolo and I had the shrimp parmigiana - both incredible! Our server Mora, was wonderful - attentive, but not intrusive and made our first experience there a delight. I heartily recommend The Original Antonio's, you will not be disappointed! read more

Homestyle Italian food at its finest. Excellent authentic Italian food that is carefully prepared. The food may take a little time to come out but it seems it is made to order and worth the wait. In the meantime you receive delicious crusty Italian bread with EVOO/butter and a true salad which has more than just a few lettuce leaves (cucumber, onion, tomatoes, and olives). Soups are really good too. All portions are generous and served hot. Service is polite, thoughtful and friendly. This place is small. Call for reservation before you go. Also does a robust take out business. Prices are very competitive compared to other restaurants. Love it! It's worth a short drive to get there. read more

Generous and delicious dinners. The service is great too. We like to eat outside on the porch.

Came back again, this time to dine in. It was a Thursday before 6 but we didn't have reservations and they seemed a little frazzled by two adults and a baby showing up. But they immediately sat us and all was well. Service was a little slow, but with a 9 month old it can't ever be quick enough haha. Portions were massive and we took leftovers of everything home. My wife ordered a chicken parm with vodka tortellini and said it was the best chicken parm she's ever had. We'll definitely be coming back again in the future. read more

Antonios is a Connecticut staple you NEED to visit! I checked out Antonios after hearing amazing things from my CT foodie friends. This spot is clearly a community staple - judging by the happy locals at every table when I arrived. Everyone there felt like family - from the amazing owners and waitstaff, to the friendly folks sitting around us. The ambiance is casual and feels very homey. And the FOOD! Guys - if you're all about authentic Italian food, you need to add this spot to your list. Everything from the fresh bread to the desserts are handmade in house, and were absolutely unreal. I was beyond impressed with the amount of business this small restaurant does and how efficiently they do it! We ended up here by a happy accident last night and we couldn't be happier. I had the huge harvest salad loaded with delicious candied pecans, gorgonzola, cranberries and very well seasoned grilled chicken which was cooked perfectly and had a nice char on it. My cousin had a shrimp and lobster cocktail (I don't eat seafood but it looked phenomenal and he loved it). Prices are extremely affordable. We were celebrating my aunt's 92nd birthday and she called me first thing this morning still raving about this place! Service was fast and excellent, especially for being so busy. Didn't have a chance to snap a photo but we'll definitely be back! Appreciate the phenomenal food and evening! read more
