Lots of food options, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are served all day, which I like. First visit, I ordered the burger steak, added mushrooms and onions. It came with 2 sides and I opted for the mashed potatoes with gravy and a side salad with honey mustard dressing. I actually finished most of my meal. It was pretty good, so I came back the next day. I ended up ordering the corned beef hash. It was ginormous!!! I could only finish 1/4 of it! I like that I was able to customize the bell pepper and onion amount on it. It was also topped with 2 eggs, as you like and a side. Way too much food for this little girl! If you're ever in the area, I would gladly recommend this diner!

For lunch I had the M&M Philly with fries. Forgot to document this delicious sandwich when visiting with a friend, but trust me, it was excellent. Sunday breakfast on my own. Sat at the counter like I live to do to watch the crew make the meals. Three masters of the grill were all working in sync preparing the meals. Decided on the Garbage Omelette with hashbrowns and wheat toast. The entire meals was very well prepared and had superb flavor. The coffee complimented the entire experience. The staff working to take and serve the orders were spot on and friendly. Both of my visits showed that they cared about making sure everything was in order and no one went without. Highly pleased with the owners of the M&M carrying on an old tradition of uptown Butte, and high regards to the entire staff for making the place worth visiting.

Many of the presidents ate there while they toured through the US and several A list celebrities as well. It was a beautiful space and it will forever be missed. Lucky for us, Selina, the owner opened again just next door. She even recently hung the old neon sign back up that was saved by the brave men and women of the Butte Silver Bow Fire Department during the fire. The first thing I ever had there was the Miner's Omelette which, as you can imagine, is very hearty with sirloin, onions, peppers and cheese. I also really enjoyed their country fried steak and they have excellent, classic diner style hash browns as well. Really grateful that the fire, although extremely damaging, took no lives and harmed no persons. Recently I looked into the pit of what remains of the old M&M and in the rubble, purple flowers were blooming. It was a nice little reminder or resilience and how life always finds a way.

My over medium eggs were perfectly done, my lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious but the entire experience was ruined when the server brought out the bottle of TABLE SYRUP instead of maple syrup! I realize this is a small business but I haven't eaten Mrs Butterworth syrup since I was like a child. Anyway, the pancakes were fluffy, delicious and perfectly done, the sausage however had a soft mildly off-putting texture and the hash browns seemed old and had no flavor. I would come here again but not for the hash browns or table syrup.
