We went for breakfast since the reviews were good. We were sat right in front of the door in the center. We all ordered different breakfast items like omelets and avocado toast and a breakfast bowl. All the food was good and hot. It took some time to get a decaf coffee and never got a refill but otherwise service was fine. It was a popular place as many people came and went while the place stayed full. However the atmosphere was lacking in my opinion and prefer the M&M cafe for that. Was driving through Butte on the way up to Kalispell and stopped by here for lunch. Good food and just what my family was looking for. We liked that they had both breakfast/brunch options but also lunch options. I got the Ore Cart and it was pretty straightforward - you can pick either pancakes or french toast, 2 eggs how you like, and either bacon or sausage. I chose the french toast over the pancakes at the recommendation of the server, and I definitely think it was a good rec. The toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Very yummy! We noticed that there's a lot of Indian influence on the menu and learned that one of the owners is from India! Very neat and unique to offer items like the Masala Spice omelette. The food did take quite a while to come out. Our server had noted that the kitchen was waiting for our chicken patty to defrost. I think normally the food comes out faster, but unfortunately for us this was not the case. The Cooper Plate is located in a casino and is not it's own building. The food was great and I loved the avocado toast. The price was fair and the serving was rather large, and I'm surprised I finished it all. It felt healthy and bountiful, and my server was friendly. However, the ambiance was very strange. The casino in the same building is a little uncomfortable and the high ceilings, mirrors, and low lighting make it feel utterly like a dinner restaurant. It was disquieting to eat breakfast in there. Also, I didn't like their choice of ceramic plates, the silverware made abrasive, awful noises scraping the plate. Parked in the parking structure across the street and used the app to pay for parking, only $1/hr. There is free parking in front and surrounding the restaurant as well. Outside area was clean and inviting. Entered through the doors and to the right is the restaurant. Approached the Host stand and waited to be seated. I was waiting for my friend so I waited a few minutes then I asked for a booth. Jager was very friendly and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Hailey was our server and was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took our orders and made sure that my food did not have onions in it. She was quick and checked on us as well. Gino is a very friendly guy and he would constantly check on us, offering to clear our dishes or fill our drinks. I ordered the Big Butte in burrito form and added chorizo to it. The burrito was very flavorful and I enjoyed the ratio of egg and meat with potatoes. Sometimes I get burritos at places and they stuff it with potatoes to make it full and skimp on the meat. Not this place. I was pleasantly surprised. The bacon was yummy. I ordered it extra crispy but not burnt and they came out just as I requested. Most places either burn it or they don't make it very crispy. The bacon was a decent thickness and not the flimsy cheap stuff. You can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients here. My friend got a similar item but in a bowl instead of a burrito. I LOVE that they offer this as an option. They have some great items on their menu. I also enjoyed the fact that the Chef/Owner, Vinay, would go around to the tables and chat with the guests to ensure everything was tasting good and answer any questions. You can tell he has a passion for cooking and wants to be sure everyone is truly enjoying his food. He is also creative and has some variety on his menu. I love the Indian food offerings paying tribute to his culture. Next time I return, I want to try the Butter Chicken Bowl. The customer service here is top notch and everyone was super friendly. They welcome you and make you feel like family. The place is clean, well lit, and a great atmosphere. You can even get drinks from the place next to them and have those with your meal. I will definitely be returning here next time I'm in town and will be sure to tell everyone I know about it, especially if they are traveling that way. Returned after a wonderful brunch experience with the eggs Benedict. Been wanting to try one of the Indian dishes. Ordered the Butter chicken which was perfect for my taste. It wasn't overly sweet or overly creamy. It was surprisingly light. Very flavorful. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The tables are adequately spaced apart. The chef clearly takes personal pride in his fare and comes out to the dining room to elicit feedback from customers. Top notch experience both times I've visited. Highly recommend. read more

I'm hoping I just caught this on an off-day because I was really looking for a better experience. The kid who was hosting was not friendly at all. I was actually about to leave when finally a server decided to come around. I went ahead and committed (a mistake). I ordered a coffee and an omelette. The coffee was not hot, nor did I ever get another refill on it. The omelette was more like a frittata and really nothing special at all. The toast was unbuttered and burned. The atmosphere was devoid of anything inviting or warm. The poor service today was not just me, btw. I observed another customer asking a busser for his check. The table next to me was looking around because their server was also not coming around to top off drinks. It truly felt like you just place your order and you receive nothing else from that point. Eventually I had waited so long to get my bill that I decided I was not waiting any longer and I left cash on the table. The entire experience from beginning to end was disappointing and I could never recommend it. I did notice there was a special needs man working there.
