Outstanding. Nice peaceful and quiet. The only place I found that's not dedicated to piping in some horrible music that nobody wants to hear

The price for food and drinks here is impressive, especially for the quality of both food and customer service.

We liked that they had both breakfast/brunch options but also lunch options. I got the Ore Cart and it was pretty straightforward - you can pick either pancakes or french toast, 2 eggs how you like, and either bacon or sausage. I chose the french toast over the pancakes at the recommendation of the server, and I definitely think it was a good rec. The toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Very yummy! We noticed that there's a lot of Indian influence on the menu and learned that one of the owners is from India! Very neat and unique to offer items like the Masala Spice omelette. The food did take quite a while to come out. Our server had noted that the kitchen was waiting for our chicken patty to defrost. I think normally the food comes out faster, but unfortunately for us this was not the case. The Cooper Plate is located in a casino and is not it's own building. Look for its sign on the front side of the casino.

Many of the presidents ate there while they toured through the US and several A list celebrities as well. It was a beautiful space and it will forever be missed. Lucky for us, Selina, the owner opened again just next door. She even recently hung the old neon sign back up that was saved by the brave men and women of the Butte Silver Bow Fire Department during the fire. The first thing I ever had there was the Miner's Omelette which, as you can imagine, is very hearty with sirloin, onions, peppers and cheese. I also really enjoyed their country fried steak and they have excellent, classic diner style hash browns as well. Really grateful that the fire, although extremely damaging, took no lives and harmed no persons. Recently I looked into the pit of what remains of the old M&M and in the rubble, purple flowers were blooming. It was a nice little reminder or resilience and how life always finds a way.

We arrived at M&M just before 7 PM. There was a crowd outside for their weekly live music event…read moreand surprisingly there were a few tables available inside. We were excited to try it since it was one of four spots recommended by the visitor center. We had originally been looking for a historical venue, but since the original building had unfortunately burned down, we decided to go and try their recommended steak special. Our party of four ordered the steak special, the country fried chicken steak, the lobster roll, and the pork sandwich. My husband and I shared the steak special which was very good, and the the lobster roll. The prices were fair overall (though we did notice some unmentioned upcharges on the bill). The lobster roll was okay although I wouldn't order again. Our friends ordered the country fried chicken steak and the pork sandwich. The pork sandwich was a big disappointment. The meat felt like processed, pressed meat, and my friend only ate half of it. The service was a deal breaker. Just as I took my last bite, an employee named Roxanne (who wasn't even our server) marched up to our table. She aggressively asked to clear our plates and pack up our food, stating that a lady in a mobility scooter needed our exact table. To be absolutely clear: we were a party of four, and this was a standard table--not a designated, accessible handicap table. When I pointed out to Roxanne that one of our companions was still eating his meal, she completely ignored it and doubled down, clearing plates and asking again to pack food. Feeling incredibly uncomfortable and rushed, my companion just gave up and stopped eating right there. Forcing paying guests to abandon their meals at a standard table of four to quickly flip it is entirely unacceptable. We were there less than one hour. The lady in the scooter moved to the bar when we left. This left such a terrible taste in our mouths that we will never return and absolutely DO NOT recommend.
