For lunch I had the M&M Philly with fries. Forgot to document this delicious sandwich when visiting with a friend, but trust me, it was excellent. Sunday breakfast on my own. Sat at the counter like I live to do to watch the crew make the meals. Three masters of the grill were all working in sync preparing the meals. Decided on the Garbage Omelette with hashbrowns and wheat toast. The entire meals was very well prepared and had superb flavor. The coffee complimented the entire experience. The staff working to take and serve the orders were spot on and friendly. Both of my visits showed that they cared about making sure everything was in order and no one went without. Highly pleased with the owners of the M&M carrying on an old tradition of uptown Butte, and high regards to the entire staff for making the place worth visiting.

Many of the presidents ate there while they toured through the US and several A list celebrities as well. It was a beautiful space and it will forever be missed. Lucky for us, Selina, the owner opened again just next door. She even recently hung the old neon sign back up that was saved by the brave men and women of the Butte Silver Bow Fire Department during the fire. The first thing I ever had there was the Miner's Omelette which, as you can imagine, is very hearty with sirloin, onions, peppers and cheese. I also really enjoyed their country fried steak and they have excellent, classic diner style hash browns as well. Really grateful that the fire, although extremely damaging, took no lives and harmed no persons. Recently I looked into the pit of what remains of the old M&M and in the rubble, purple flowers were blooming. It was a nice little reminder or resilience and how life always finds a way.

The bacon was crispy and delicious, the eggs were cooked great, but I didn't love the pancakes. As you can see they were pretty light in color and the taste was just off. Almost like they were cooked on a dirty grill or a grill that wasn't fully hot before the batter was poured on, so it really just sucked up a bunch of oil or something. All-in-all it was a good breakfast and quite cheap. I don't know if I am in a huge hurry to visit again, but I also wouldn't be opposed.

Because you know, Hawaii. Lol. It was very sweet latte with macadamia nut and caramel syrup. The huckleberry smoothie was also good. Sweet, but good. I saw they had huckleberry lemonade after I ordered, so I might try that next time :) The two people working were so nice and friendly! They have two order windows going, one on either side of the small building. It makes for a fast and convenient coffee pick up.

The other two orders were Denver omelets which were both lukewarm with soggy hash browns. We also did not get a small cup of syrup that was asked for specifically. Definitely could and SHOULD do better here. The service was poor, at best. The cook/owner was snappy and rude to us and the other customers. We wanted to give them a break since they are a new restaurant, but the lady quite literally made a scene about how much our to go order inconvenienced her so much. We arrived shortly after the estimated wait, to which when we arrived we were told that it would take an additional 20 minutes before our order would be ready. If a couple breakfast burritos and a couple omelets with sides are enough to get someone to behave this way towards their customers then they should not be working in or OWNING a restaurant. As for the price, we were blindsided. None of the prices listed on the menu were accurate. Everything was more expensive than listed... When we saw a multiple dollar difference in each item on the menu than it was when we got the receipt we were very surprised. The pin in the cap, is that THEY CHARGE $1 FOR EACH TO GO BOX.
