    Bacon breakfast sandwich

Had the bacon breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll. Wonderful flaky biscuit, delicious and buttery. I would come back again and again just for the biscuit. The bacon was thick and the cheese was complimentary. The cinnamon roll was perfectly baked, the raisins were not my favorite but the cream cheese frosting was perfect. It was not too sweet, sometimes frosting like that can make your teeth hurt and this was not like that. The ambiance was nice, it was very mellow on a Friday morning. The lady at the counter was nice, she seemed to get a little frustrated with us since we took a minute to decide. There were 5 of us and it was our first time visiting. We had a good experience and would definitely come back here if we come back again.

Outstanding breakfast spot. Two locals took me here this morning and said it is the most consistent place in town. I believe it. Staff members were prompt, attentive accurate. Place has plenty of seating, and lots of parking at the rear. Very comfortable with no rush. Food was solid and well prepared. There were many items outside of the traditional favorite of eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. Oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, limited but very good pastry selections (I recommend the cinnamon roll). My Big Butte breakfast ranks in the middle of what I have tried on this trip. The sourdough toast was excellent as was the thick sliced bacon but the scrambled eggs were overdone and dry while the hash browns were a bit stringy. Overall it is a very good stop and I will visit again upon returning to Butte.

Great Harvest? More like the Great Depression. Ordered the Turkey & Provolone which comes dressed with lettuce tomato onion pickle mustard and Mayo. Instead I got this ... Also got the vegetable beef soup which turned out to be just broth and tomato chunks. I'm surprised the saltines had salt.

My best friend and I are on a week long road trip from Texas to Washington State. He is a farmer and professional chef. So his standards are pretty high when it comes to food. I decided to Yelp a nice spot for breakfast as we were coming from Bozeman. I found Great Harvest and knew this was the spot we needed to stop at! We pulled up and parked in the back. We came in through the back entrance. If you are looking for something super fancy and such this is not for you. The space is a bakery. They aren't meant to be pretty. But they make up for it with the food. The decor is quaint and makes you feel like home. I'd take a hole in the wall spot with amazing food over a fully decked out space with mediocre meals. The staff was friendly and helpful. We chatted with them for awhile and they had amazing suggestions. We went with them all. The food was great. I had the ham and cheese omelette. My friend had the Big Butte Breakfast. One thing we both agreed on is that we wish the potatoes were a little more cooked and crispy. Besides that it was awesome. The breads are epic. He had a coffee and I had a tea. The tea is a very strong brewed black tea. Brent said the coffee was great. We decided to buy some cookies, brownies and cinnamon rolls to take back home. Also some loaves of bread. Over all a great experience. Thanks so much to the staff for making it a great stop! Would definitely go back! Nothing like homemade food cooked with love!

Mediocre at best. Cheese steak was dry and tasteless, and tasted like meat was stuck in a hard bun and microwaved.

Many of the presidents ate there while they toured through the US and several A list celebrities as well. It was a beautiful space and it will forever be missed. Lucky for us, Selina, the owner opened again just next door. She even recently hung the old neon sign back up that was saved by the brave men and women of the Butte Silver Bow Fire Department during the fire. The first thing I ever had there was the Miner's Omelette which, as you can imagine, is very hearty with sirloin, onions, peppers and cheese. I also really enjoyed their country fried steak and they have excellent, classic diner style hash browns as well. Really grateful that the fire, although extremely damaging, took no lives and harmed no persons. Recently I looked into the pit of what remains of the old M&M and in the rubble, purple flowers were blooming. It was a nice little reminder or resilience and how life always finds a way.

We were excited to try it since it was one of four spots recommended by the visitor center. We had originally been looking for a historical venue, but since the original building had unfortunately burned down, we decided to go and try their recommended steak special. Our party of four ordered the steak special, the country fried chicken steak, the lobster roll, and the pork sandwich. My husband and I shared the steak special which was very good, and the the lobster roll. The prices were fair overall (though we did notice some unmentioned upcharges on the bill). The lobster roll was okay although I wouldn't order again. Our friends ordered the country fried chicken steak and the pork sandwich. The pork sandwich was a big disappointment. The meat felt like processed, pressed meat, and my friend only ate half of it. The service was a deal breaker. Just as I took my last bite, an employee named Roxanne (who wasn't even our server) marched up to our table. She aggressively asked to clear our plates and pack up our food, stating that a lady in a mobility scooter needed our exact table. To be absolutely clear: we were a party of four, and this was a standard table--not a designated, accessible handicap table. When I pointed out to Roxanne that one of our companions was still eating his meal, she completely ignored it and doubled down, clearing plates and asking again to pack food. Feeling incredibly uncomfortable and rushed, my companion just gave up and stopped eating right there. Forcing paying guests to abandon their meals at a standard table of four to quickly flip it is entirely unacceptable. We were there less than one hour. The lady in the scooter moved to the bar when we left. This left such a terrible taste in our mouths that we will never return and absolutely DO NOT recommend.

I ended up getting the three egg breakfast, with linked sausage, hash browns and a couple lemon ricotta pancakes. My friend got two eggs, the huckleberry French toast and pork linked sausage. First, let's start with the positive notes. The place was clean, there dining room was big with plenty of open tables, our server was super nice and we were seated right away, the food was good for the most part. My over medium eggs were perfectly done, my lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious but the entire experience was ruined when the server brought out the bottle of TABLE SYRUP instead of maple syrup! I realize this is a small business but I haven't eaten Mrs Butterworth syrup since I was like a child. Anyway, the pancakes were fluffy, delicious and perfectly done, the sausage however had a soft mildly off-putting texture and the hash browns seemed old and had no flavor. I would come here again but not for the hash browns or table syrup.
