We came here before dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant next door because they would be closed when we finished dinner. There are several cases of various goodies including cakes, cookies, pastries and croissants. It's a small place so everyone was ordering the items to go. You choose your goodies then pay at the register. The employees were helpful and explained items if asked. It was crowded, but decor was nice and it appeared clean . My son got a fancy brownie and I couldn't resist the huckleberry cake. The picture makes it look a lot bigger than it was, and it was not cheap, but it was good. The filling and the icing had huckleberry in it. Prices on everything seemed higher than I am accustomed to but they did have some interesting things. read more

When my friend asked Google for the best bakery in town, we were sent to Park Ave Bakery-and were not disappointed at all. This little shop packs a big punch-from the friendly service to the yummy treats, it's all terrific. There are a few tables for dining in, which we did. Between the two of us, we had a few cookies, a croissant and the chocolate decadence. That chocolate was amazing-and after a couple bites, I couldn't eat any more. The sugar cookies were beautifully decorated, but they were the hard kind, not soft and fluffy like I prefer. The next time I'm in town, this will definitely be on my list of places to visit. read more

Went here while visiting family; the three of us ordered three pastries to share - a chocolate hazelnut, a tres leches cake, and a white chocolate lemon. All three were delicious! Definitely a few of the best pastries I've had lately. My only complaint was that the tres leches was a little drier than I like it. The coffee was also good. The fifth star only falls off because the service was a little haphazard - well-intentioned, but we got the wrong coffee order and then there was confusion once we got the right one. They also close very early on the weekends. I haven't tried their bread, but will when I'm in town next time. read more

This place is great. Came here during the morning while visiting downtown Helena and grabbed a cup of the dark roast on brew. It was so smooth and balanced that I bought three bags of the roasted whole bean (1889 by Ghost town coffee roasters)! We ordered pumpkin cookies (so good and moist!), an almond biscotti (perfect for dunking in the coffee), a caramel sticky bun (delicious and stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth good!), and a chocolate chip cookie (because for breakfast...why not?). The staff is really friendly and the baked goods are great. Loved it here :) read more

When I finished, she said the total was $30.95, and I said oh no, the card was only for $25, and Kenzie said "Don't worry, I can take care of the difference", and I thought wow cool, she'll adjust the price or whatever, and I went to get some water.
