Good breakfast for hungry travelers in Chicago's Midway Airport. Generous portions, we could have easily chosen one offering and split our selection! Coffee was good and fresh, service was informative and helpful; friendly but professional. Not cheap, but then again, nothing in the airport is cheap! I'd choose them again.
Ive never felt so uncomfortable in my life at a restaurant till this place... i landed in midway for a layover suuuuper hungry looking for a place. So i stopped by at THE ORANGE LINE... not thinking of anything hungry i sat at the bar. I sit down put my purse on the bar counter top the bartender their tells me hes going to whip down the table. as i was removing my purse to put it on the seat next to me he proceeds to tell me where to put my purse under the table where the hooks were at.. odd not thinking of anything i start scanning the qr code for the menu mind you at this point this man never even greeted me nor nothing he just gave me the menu.. after looking at the menu i waited for him to get done talking to a couple that was sitting close to me. He asked me if i was ready to order after telling him what i wanted to order HE ASKED FOR MY ID EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN YOU SIT AT THE BAR THE BARTENDER INSTANTLY ASK FOR YOUR ID. AFTER i told him him what i wanted i asked him why he didnt first ask for my id first he said "cause i was busy looking at the menu and my phone" like if i was a undercover secret shopper for them that place would of failed. After that He asked me what i wanted to drink i told him water he then tried to give me A DIRTY GLASS CUP THAT HAD BEER RESIDUE AND WATER STAINS ON IT NOT THINKING I WOULDNT NOTICE I Kept starting at it he noticed me staring super hard and took it away.. after my food came i asked him for my water this dude proceed to say "you asked me for a drink" like whaaat? He was real life acting like he didnt ask me what i wanted to drink when i first came in like i was crazy.. VERY SASSSSSY LIKE I DONT KNOW IF HE WOKE UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BED BUT VERY SASSY FOR A 50 something year old man.. i told him well can i get my water he gives me my water with the food i ordered. I then told him he was WEIRD and that punctured something in him because after me calling him weird he accused me being drunk at 10 in the morning like be forreal im pretty sure in bartending school theres a lesson where they teach on how to spot if a person is suuuuuper drunk... i was very sober and coherent tired of being on the plane so him asking me if i was drunk was a whole scene he asked me what i said and i told him straight up he was weird he then took my food away and said he wasnt going to serve AND THAT WAS FINE WITH ME I WASNT GOING TO PAY FOR SOME FOOD WITH THAT TYPE OF HOSPITALITY AND THEN THE WAY HE ACTED TOWARDS ME IT SEEMED LIKE THIS RESTAURANT WOULDNT HANDLE MY FOOD WITH CARE HE JUST DIDNT WANT TO SERVE ME HE WAS VERY SASSSSSY DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A SHITTY DAY He mad about that BIG ASS BALD SPOT ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD HES BALDING
Had a connecting flight at MDW and barely enough time for lunch. The Orange Line had a conspicuously shorter line than the others, so I stopped by. Staff are friendly and attentive. Expect to get your name called out minutes after ordering, so stick around the cashier area. SOUTH SIDE CHICKEN CLUB: I guess chicken clubs are on burger buns-- oh, I mean "brioche"-- now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's... Fine. The chicken is completely unseasoned, a little dry, but not horrible. There was a decent enough amount of sauce to compensate. Veggies were as watery as the fries were toasty and crisp. I didn't hate it. It's $22 after tax... I expected as much from an airport burger.
Holy smokes!! We all know airport eateries are pricey, but $12 for a small cup of soup? That's ridiculous!! Add to that the service was really bad. Hopefully this review will help you avoid our mistake.
I'm updating my review. First came here 2/2023 and gave 4/5 stars. The second time here, 06/2024 and downgrading to 2/5 stars. I ordered the chicken club sandwich. It cane with parmesan fries. The sandwich was gross. It was a weird rectangle shaped chicken breast slapped between 2 pieces of bread. It was slightly undercooked and had no flavor. It was dripping wet from chipotle mayo and guacamole. The fries were okay. I can't recommend this place anymore. There's limited seating due to being in the airport, but the employees reserve tables for themselves when they're on break/lunch.
The main thing that drew me here were the prices. I was looking for something with avocado and the food items here seemed to be a little cheaper than the others in Concourse B. I sat at the bar but didn't order any drinks. The bartender greeted me immediately and I ordered a breakfast club and a water. My food took barely any time, but it wasn't that busy yet. The things that knock off the last star for me were the quality of the ingredients. It wasn't terrible, and I know I shouldn't have super high standards for airport food, but the biscuits and bacon were a little bit too soft, and the eggs weren't anything to rave about. Tots were perfect though. I ended up eating my whole meal with a fork since the biscuits weren't holding everything together well.
I came here today before my flight because it's a place I hadn't been yet at Midway. I got a beer and the 312 Chicken Biscuit. Frankly, everything was fine. I was hoping for a little more tenderness in the chicken, but it's really just chicken tenders on a biscuit. At least it came out super quickly. I'm not sure I'll be back but it was worth trying out.

The food was good I sat at the bar had the asian chicken salad and diet pepsi. the food too awhile since it seemed to get order stolen for to go orders. the service was good as the bar tender kept the fight up for the salad. the ambiance is a airport restaurant. they have two tvs and sit yourself. Better than some places at midway airport and close to my gate!
Bad coffee and no food I ordered a coffee and they don't have anything to put in the coffee. It's a breakfast place with nothing for coffee which is disappointing since ppl get here in the morning in hopes for some coffee. The kitchen at breakfast isn't open at 8am. The music is bad and so loud that you can hear the person across from you.
I ordered the most expensive Bacon Cheese Burger. All the burgers here are Well Done and are all cooked ahead of time. I was sitting at the counter watching the cook put 17 burgers on the grill at the same time. The burger has no seasoning and it's poor quality meat, the pickles on it not even pickle but more like sliced cucumbers and the bacon was like overcooked from the morning like scraps put on top. French fries are frozen and they are extremely salt. The bartender was very nice but this $23.00 burger is just not worth it.
If I could give seriously zero stars I would. This woman is extremely rude. She was running her mouth about customers loud enough for them (and others) to hear like a child.. Claims we think it's a "motel" because we're waiting for our flight that was delayed over here in her restaurant. My boyfriend was resting in an empty seat. 0/10 and she clearly shouldn't be in customer service. She has the attitude of someone that doesn't want to work in the customer service field but somehow still does. We come through midway often. We won't be back.
Tried the chicken avocado salad. While all of the components were good, the chicken could have been more seasoned / flavorful. The dressing was the clear star of the dish. It was a very big portion, but you are also paying airport prices. read more

For an airport overpriced breakfast spot, the food was better than expected. A few bucks more than a fast food order I was surprised for how much food was on the order.the best part was the crispy bacon, yummy. The eggs were cook well and the tots were golden and crunchy and soft inside but well cooked. The service was good and short wait time. If you have time until your flight takes off, they have a good seating area and beverage service. The noise and traffic level it's to be expected expect for an airport. I would hit it again, just need to remember it's a big portion and can be enough for 2. read more

Bonkers is all I can say, Friday night most places in terminal B are out of food. It's only dine in here, waitress is awesome but there's just one, one bartender and from the looks of it one cook. They aren't out of food but you have two options, wings or burger. read more

Keep in mind this is an airport restaurant. You are not going to get 5 star food. But this place is one of the better airport restaurants I've eaten at. I had the wings and they were a bit spicy and wet. But I'd say these wings come close to a lot of other bars I've eaten at. I'd definitely come back. And my waitress was very attentive. read more

Full service spot in Concourse B with solid burgers and fries! Ordered 2 chi-town bacon cheeseburgers that came with fries. Both burgers came out well presented, patties were tasty and had crisp lettuce and tomatoes. The portion of fries was hefty. Servers were friendly and attentive the entire meal. If you're looking for a spot to grab a bite and wait for your flight, would recommend! read more

First off, let me start by saying this place has potential. The food smelled good which is why I decided to stop. Everyone in there seemed to be enjoying their drinks, however, I order a chicken sandwich (no bacon) and a Pepsi. I actually got a burger . Since the burger looked good I said I'll keep it (I don't like sending food back) . After taking about 3 bites into the burger I noticed it's too pink for my liking . They could of done a better job at trying to compensate me . Not to mention, I had to constantly remind them about the Pepsi . I still paid my bill even though nothing I truly asked for was delivered . read more
Airport dining....last stop in Chi-town. The Orange Line is a clever name for a restaurant. It aligns with the train lines that one learns well when spending some time sightseeing in Chicago. As with most restaurants in Midway airport, this place was crowded and one struggles to find a place to sit. I ended up sitting at the bar. The server was very friendly. I ordered a Chipotle burger which came with fries and I ordered a beer. The beer was avail in 2 sizes - the smaller of the 2 e was in a pint glass......the other was basically a small vat of beer :) The burger was above average for an airport joint. It was good, but won;lt compete with any craft burgers...that being said, I enjoyed it just fine. The fries seemed like they were the run-of-0the mill bag of frozen then fried fires.......I was not won over by them, they were fine....but just fine. Overall, if you are looking for a burger and a beverage in the airport, this place will do fine, it is a respectable choice. read more

Stopped in for dinner on our layover. Had one vegan entree option (veggie burger) which is nice. We're going to get the edamame but they were out of that (darn; oh well; $15 is pretty pricey for edamame anyway). Got the Asian chicken salad w/ grilled chicken, carrots, spring mix, peanut vinaigrette, and chili chow mein noodles. Very tasty, and not too heavy; said it had cabbage, cilantro and mint, but not tonight. Also a bit pricey at $18, but got sit-down friendly. table service. Got one cocktail- the cosmo Kiss - asked if it could be served in a martini glass, but alas, came served in a little 6 oz plastic cup. Not bad, but a bit over-priced at $21, even for an airport drink. read more

Quite possibly the rudest staff at the Midway Airport. 10/10 do NOT recommend. They close at 9pm, and I walked up at 8:25pm. They debated in front of me if they should let me order. The cashier rolled her eyes and kept talking to another staff member as I was ordering. read more
