From the moment we stepped through the door, we were met with a truly welcoming atmosphere. The wonderful lady at the hostess station greeted us with such a warm smile and infectious positive energy that it immediately set the tone for the rest of our visit. Although I didn't catch their name, their kindness made a lasting impression. The playlist was absolutely phenomenal and perfectly complemented the ambiance, which was equally fantastic. The drinks were expertly crafted and just as impressive, making the start of our meal even more enjoyable. For our entrees, my partner chose the shrimp and grits and found them to be quite tasty. I went with the smoked corned hash, which had a delightful flavor, though it was a bit heavy on the salt for my taste. While I probably wouldn't order it again, it was still enjoyable overall. Our only concern during the visit was the long wait for our food. Despite the restaurant not being busy at the time, it took about 45 minutes for our meals to arrive, and we noticed a few tables that came after us received their food before we did. However, the same fantastic hostess quickly addressed our concerns by offering complimentary beverages and apologizing sincerely. They even summoned the chef over to apologize as well, which was a classy gesture that truly impressed us. Thanks to their excellent customer service and genuine hospitality, we will absolutely return the next time we're in Chicago. Thank you for making our experience memorable!

Where do I start? Ok... my wife and I wanted to try this place out on our date night. This was our first and last time there. Let me explain why! My wife made reservations for 5:45pm which we were seated right away. The hostess asked my wife, "would you like a table or booth?" My wife stated a booth. We were seated along a row of tables that was lined with a wall seat/couch and the other side of the table was a chairs. No booths insight! She sat us right next to the DJ booth which was kinda awkward due to the DJ was sitting in her section while facing my right side of my body. The waitress name Corrine (which was very nice but horrible service) took a long time serving our table. She took a long time coming to our table but very attentive to the other tables/guest. I was not interested by the way the "wine" menu was printed. The cover was stained, the pages inside were cut with a dull paper trimmer guillotine. The words were faded. The food menu was stained and reused over and over. They do not take pride into wiping their glasses, which there was major water spots on them. The price of the wine is ridiculous. 5oz glass ($13-$17), 8oz glass ($17-$24) and the bottle is priced over $45. I only tried the Brussel sprouts which were tasteless and burnt. My wife wanted a meal but she got so irritated, she declined of wanting anything to eat from there. Also the waitress wasn't even around enough for us to ask her "excuse me, where is the restroom?" While sitting there, I seen a male waiter wearing a skull cap and a sling bag on his chest. That is not appropriate for that type of setting, I know what that sling bag means when males wear them... When my wife finally got the waitress attention, she asked for the check. The waitress sensed something was wrong and kept pressing my wife by asking what was the issue, which made my wife highly upset. Now she (the waitress) want to show care that we even existed. Don't get me wrong, she was nice but the service was damaged and she couldn't make it right. My wife had a horrible experience with finally finding the restroom, only to be greeted with someone attempting to come inside. Once my wife yelled that she was inside there, the banged on the door and went to the other restroom. The parking is horrible and the prices is ridiculous. From the other guess reviews, the food doesn't look that advertising. I was looking to spend about $100 -$200 just for a night out but I'm glad I didn't. There's no need to tip because the service is automatically included. Only thing I liked about the restaurant is the music and a mixed clientele setting. Overall, we travelled from Hammond, IN just to be let down and disappointed.

Alright this place was a whooooole vibe! I recently came in October for a friend's birthday and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Our server was gorgeous and very friendly. She offered us free wine to taste that was very good for a white wine lover. We ordered - 2 coconut curry salmon dishes, herb crusted rack of lamb, brussel sprouts shareable, and all their mocktails. Then my sister got their fruit sorbet with sparkling wine. Everything was very very good. This wasn't your typical restaurant food but very upscale and carefully prepared. One of the coconut curry salmon dishes came out with the wrong sauce and they made sure to fix it as well as offer free appetizers to make up for it. And I don't know why but their watermelon nojito was so good I got like 3 The night we came it was pretty busy and they had a DJ. The music was veeeeery loud which made it a little difficult to have conversation unless you were sitting right next to the person. Lighting was low and moody and slightly romantic. I love the decor here and the history behind the place. Will always stop in when I'm in the area.

Went with two of my older cousins when I was visiting Chicago for the weekend who aren't big wine lovers but they know I am. They also wanted to try somewhere they've never been before. All in all, it was a fantastic brunch experience. I opted for something different for my main- shirred baked egg. Reminded me of a Shaksuka, a middle eastern dish. I am grossed out by runny eggs so I asked for it to be cooked over hard. I probably should've said over medium accounting for the fact they would continue to cook because it was served in the skillet. It was delicious and flavorful plus a bit spicy . I tried my cousins chicken and it was perfection! Perfectly seasoned, crispy and juicy. Yum! I had a hard time choosing which wines I wanted a glass of, so the waitress said we could try a few as a tasting before I decided. I took her up on that! She also brought all 3 of us glasses of their house cava. We all agreed it was amazing. I'm considering joining their wine club because I noticed some unusual bottles and I'm pretty well-versed. I love how unique they are. Oh yeah, their music playlist was

I feel like you can't go wrong with bronzeville winery. The food is always a pleasure, since it was busy for restaurant week service was slower but not bad. The energy is always nice, playing oldies was a nice brunch

This was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday! They had a dj who was playing great music. You definitely need a reservation and can expect a small wait. There's very little waiting room and no seated waiting space besides the bar. The hostess and wait staff were all very nice. The macaroni and cheese was very salty so they took it off our check without any issue. We enjoyed our entrees and the Brussel sprouts. Everything came out hot and fresh with little wait time. The birthday girl was celebrated with champagne and a delicious seasonal cheesecake.

We came for 11:30 brunch, and Bronzeville Winery never disappoints. The service is phenomenal, every team member pays attention to the smallest details and makes you feel welcome. We started with mimosas and coffee, both on point. I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my table enjoyed the French toast, chicken and waffles, and maple bacon. Every bite was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Everything about the experience from the food to the service to the vibe was top-tier. We'll definitely be back!

I've visited Bronzeville Winery several times, but this was my first time trying their brunch & it did not disappoint! We went to celebrate my sister's birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was top-notch. The hostess was incredibly kind and immediately asked if we were celebrating anything. When we said it was my sister's birthday, she surprised her with a complimentary glass of champagne; such a thoughtful touch! We ordered the shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, a salmon salad, and a Bloody Mary. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The only minor note: the salad portion could have used a bit more lettuce, as it came in a smaller bowl. But aside from that, everything was excellent. The service, food, and music created the perfect vibe for a relaxed and celebratory brunch. I have zero complaints and will definitely be back!

Black owned winery in Chicago I'm so glad we found you!!! This place did not disappoint and was decorated so beautifully!! The music was like listening to my own playlist but def had to follow their Spotify because I kept having to open Shazam for the remixes. The customer service was 10/10!! Our waitress was so bubbly, informative and helpful. The Brussels were phenomenal!! The shrimp was fantastic as well. I was overjoyed with the selection of wines they had as well as cocktails but the orange wine won me over. It was my first time tasting it and now I'm def a fan. I will be sure to visit next time I'm in town and have def shared to all my friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I've found another gem in Bronzeville! I took advantage of restaurant week and dined solo at Bronzeville Winery. Upon entry, you are greeted by the host and the bar! The bar is literally 4 steps from the door. One of my besties was supposed to join me for dinner but couldn't make it so I dined solo. I was seated right across from the Dj booth, facing the dinner room. The music created a vibe, the lighting was dope....a nice vibe. I decided on the restaurant week menu with caviar. My first experience like this with caviar and it was ok. Caviar was....salty but yet enjoyable. My next selection was their bread with butter. Yummers!!! I I loved it. I mean if we can't get good bread and butter...what are doing ‍ My next selection was a dinner salad topped with pomegranate seeds and goat cheese. Another delicious entree. My main course was their lobster roll with French fries but by the time it came, I was full. There was no way I was going to eat dessert, pack it up as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back.

The restaurant is beautiful; the artwork, the lighting, the cool chairs were all great. The host was warm and very sweet. He gave us complimentary wine because he said the kitchen had gotten backed up. Our sever then told us the same thing and that she wouldn't take orders for another 15/20 minutes. Our reservation was at 8:30pm on a Friday and we arrived on time. We didn't order until 9pm and didn't get our entrees until 9:45pm. So we were still eating at 10pm. This was a long wait. We saw a table of people leave and others were complaining. We did get an order of Brussel sprouts come out before our main courses to hold us over around 9:15pm, but the wait was just unacceptable. I don't know why the kitchen wasn't ready for a Friday night crowd, but it is what it is. Our server, Cierra, was nice but she didn't go out of her way to apologize or check on us either. That was a missed opportunity. Food wise, I had the salmon tagliatelle. The salmon was seasoned well and was a good portion. The pasta, unfortunately, was very overcooked and mushy. Plus I think there was too much pasta for the sauce. I left most of the pasta on the plate. My sister had a salad with a side of steak (keto meal). The steak was butchered and rare. She ordered medium well lol. The server took the steak off the bill after we showed it to her. It was a bad cut of meat, poorly cooked, and then cut into pieces before serving. My friend had the burger and said it was AMAZING, and so were the fries. The salmon curry was the last dish my other friend had. She was underwhelmed. The sauce was thick and the rice was mushy. The brussel sprouts were very tasty and the non-alcoholic sparkling wine I had was delicious.

Bronzeville winery is an experience; the food, the DJ, the decor, they curate the vibe. I have to say that the food is a fresh take on what would normally be southern home cooking with a twist. The shrimp and grits were delicious! Very cheesy grits and perfectly fried shrimp. I also had the coconut curry salmon which was cooked perfectly! The service is attentive and they're very knowledgeable about the wine list. The only drawback is that you may wait a while for your food.

They are beautiful but for that price I expected more. I been to many flower shops and this one is definitely the least I received for my money. I usually spend around $50 on flowers but this year I decided to do little bit more since my mom is having health issues and these are meant for her birthday. They are beautiful but disappointing for the price!

It seems like a nice place but our experience, particularly food, wasn't great. Service was good,…read moreour waiter was patient and friendly as we came as a party of 6 plus kids. What left me puzzled is food. What I loved were fries, round shaped which I thought was rather unusual and just the right amount of salt, crispiness, softness inside. That's about it though. As a main dish I picked prosciutto focaccia and while on paper it looked great, it came out very dry, almost stale, I didn't enjoy it at all. While fries were great, the portion of it was tiny. Like, 10 or 11 fries in a small plate. My partner got a chicken sandwich and it was good. Now, the kids got kids burger which comes with fries too and I swear the kids plate had double the fries compared to my side. We also got kids pasta and it was the same size as someone's pasta from our party. I mean, great value for kids menu items, sure, but I'm just not sure why adult dishes are so slim compared to kids. When they brought the check we noticed two items in it that we didn't order, which we realized after paying for it and looking at the receipt (they use portable terminals and have an option to text you the receipt). Our server corrected the mistake and refunded the difference for the two items we didn't order promptly after we pointed it out but this still left a bad aftertaste for us; we don't always look at receipts and this one would've gone unnoticed for sure, we only looked because total seems a bit too high. I also noticed that the soup upcharge on the menu is $2, but on the check it was $3. Pointed it out to the server too but she didn't do anything about it. It's just a dollar so we didn't press for it, and again, only noticed it because we started looking at the receipt due to unusually high total. Anyway, it was nice to visit, but we won't be back.

It's very peaceful, romantic and a calm atmosphere. All of the food was delicious. The plating is so attractive! The dishes have great flavor but are healthier options. The portion sizes were perfect for what we desired. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best branzino I've ever had. The skin was crunchy and delicious. But the fish was not dry at all! There's nothing better than a juicy branzino fish and chef Jose nailed it! Matching with the sauce and beans was so much better than any other veggies or starch. The octopus was also cooked to perfection. The flavor and temperature was just right. Not too hot and such a great texture. We don't always order desserts but we had to see every course of the menu. We decided to go with a lava cake and it did not disappoint. It had that perfect contrast of hot and cold but it's served with gelato which gives it a nice touch of texture compared to standard ice cream. Chef Jose came out and introduced himself. We came in because we were enticed by a beef tartare that was on their menu in the past. We're hoping he brings it back on a special sometime soon. He said to give him a call and he'll try to accommodate whenever possible to make his customers happy. What an amazing restaurant. We cannot wait to come back and see what's new. Thank you for an amazing dinner and night!

The vibe here definitely meets a park ridge niche that nothing else does - intimate but elevated, a great date night place. Excellent cocktails and decent portions. Tuna tower was a fun app and we ordered lamb chops and a pasta for our mains. My only wish is that they had a slightly larger menu. I hope they add to it or do seasonal offerings because the selection is not too large and we pretty much maxed out what we'd be interested in trying in one visit. But they did it well and we enjoyed the Valentine's Day touched around the restaurant!
