The security here wasn't rude or anything which was a good sign from off the bat, and once we got inside we had a lot of space to roam around towards the back when we wanted drinks or whatever which made it easy to not stress about needing to be at the very front of the dancing floor space. We are from Pittsburgh and it's hard, if not impossible, to find bars with covers as low as $5 on a Friday night. The Wu-Tang cover show was almost over by the time we got to the bar, but it was nice to hear a few good songs and enjoy the atmosphere. Well drinks were $7, which again isn't a bad deal at all. We stuck around for a while and mingled with some of the locals, and they seemed to be very fond of The Promontory. There were tables on the side of the dance floor and from other reviews the food here looks like it's worth a try.
