I love to cook, especially Italian, this place is great! So many delicious options! I always buy a ton here! I can't add more than what's already said other than to reiterate how true the great reviews are. Check it out!

Olive oil from here was tasty and reasonably priced. Tried fig (surprisingly sweet) and Sorento lemon (good with fresh tomatoes).

AVP is excellent, by the way. We have been twice in the last couple of months. Front of House Team was excellent both visits. Our bartender/servers have been gracious and attentive. First visit was carbonara and beet salad; good but not life-changing. Second visit started with Frito Misto. Excellent. Bright, crispy and perfectly finished. The linguine is served with crab meat. I found it to be a glutinous mess. I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen. The mushroom side plate was under seasoned. Our friend who got the spaghetti loved it. Mushroom pasta was excellent with nicely cooked pasta and thorough mushroom taste. Our friends were very pleased with this plate. The chopped salad is perfectly dressed and is completely delicious. It was a treat. My lovely counterpart had the halibut piccata. She commented that it was "slightly overcooked." This is charitable: it was completely hammered. "It had the texture of chicken." The sauce was conspicuous by its sparsity; just not much flavor going on. She also observed that first bite was gritty, as if greens were inadequately cleaned. This dish has enormous potential, but it just wasn't delivered. This dish was palatable only by having the tomatoes on the vine as a side. My lovely counterpart on the Tomatoes on the Vine side: "I didn't love it, but it was necessary." She generally loves this sort of preparation but again, it just wasn't there. Cheesecake was great. Our server was excellent and attentive. Amanda, the assistant manager, was too busy to chat with us even though the house was mostly empty. Our table had two bottles of wine, ordered by the glass instead of by the bottle. The wine pours are staged outside of the bar, so the bartender wasn't involved. We are still at a loss to understand why Amanda was not willing to consider giving us even one of the bottles' worth at the bottle price and why she shut down our waitress when she asked. It seems like a weird hill to plant your flag on, and entirely inconsistent with our more than 30 years experience with Big Burrito. This is the first time we have experienced anything like this in a Big Burrito restaurant; truly bizarre and our poor server was clearly uncomfortable relaying the decision. We hadn't made any observations about the food to her and were having a great time even with kitchen's inconsistency. We might try again at some point: some of the dishes were great and there is clearly potential.

One thing I…read morereally appreciate is that they have a separate seating area for larger groups, which made the evening much more comfortable and enjoyable. We started with several appetizers, including the burrata, arancini, meatballs, and calamari. Everything was delicious, and the complimentary bread with the spread was a great addition to the table. For my salad, I ordered the Parma salad. It was fresh, flavorful, and generously sized. For my entrée, I had the spaghetti with clams. The flavor was very good, but I was disappointed by the size of the clams--they were extremely small. I would have preferred a shrimp pasta option if quality clams weren't available. That said, the overall experience was excellent. The food was consistently good, the service handled our large group well, and this is definitely a great choice for group dinners and team gatherings.

The warm Italian decor is welcoming and comfortable to connect over cocktails, a glass of wine or our favorite after dinner drink, an espresso. For an appetizer I recommend the arancini, fried calamari and buffalo caprese. I really enjoy their caesar salad with anchovies. And their pasta is delicious. The pappardelle bolognese and the fettucini con funghi are favorites and most recently tried the braised short rib lasagne, which I absolutely would order again. Salute!!!

There was a dinner party at the time and laughter rang throughout the place, it was awesome. My boyfriend got the pork chop and talked about it for an entire year, so we went back for his birthday. This time, I got the salmon, which was grilled perfectly and really paired well with the risotto. The drink, dare I say a new favorite, it almost tasted like a pickle! I loved it! Our server on both occasions was very helpful and down to earth and made the experience great. The food also came out quickly, and my boyfriend received a birthday dessert. 10/10, no notes!

The employees promptly greeted and seated us, and I appreciated that they recommended specific menu items to help me choose. After a reasonable wait, the foods were brought to our table. Turkish Tea - 4.5 stars - This black tea was a good size and was served hot. Packets of sweeteners were available. The total price was $55 plus tax and tip.

Falafel appetizer was very, very hard and chewy. Even with a serrated knife it was difficult to cut! Shepherd Salad was fresh but was mostly red and green bell peppers. Donor Kebab was over cooked. Dry. Chewy. Tzatziki sauce was fine. I ordered two extra mini-cups of tzatziki to help me finish the donor kebab. (Extra $1). Bread was very good.
