Homemade tortillas
Rachel Macie H.

I'm always on the lookout for another awesome market and right here needless to say is just that in soo many ways! So we came in and one of the first things to get our attention was those fresh made tortillas in both corn and flour like they are awesome super yummy and just perfect for the goodness that we have made at home with them! Besides the tortillas they have an abundance of other delicious Mexican goodies that are sure to grab your tastebuds it's markets like this that make me feel like I'm back in Cali and it's definitely something that I miss so whenever I find one I always go! Overall awesome marketplace with some delicious tortillas and lots of other yummy products it's when will I get the chance to come here again is the real question!

The best in town! We have been going to Reyna's for years now. The homemade tortillas cannot be beat. Check the rack in the back for fresh and warm ones. You can watch how they are made too. Employees are always helpful and friendly. We always buy queso, salsa and chorizo as well. My only complaint is you have to watch for dates. Somethings are a few days out. The handwritten numbers are the day they are made so personal preference how far out you want to go. The tamales are too salty for us but could be our taste. Overall, we've never had anything we didn't enjoy

Beans full of bugs

be careful with the products that you buy from here. check them - I bought a pack of red beans from here and a few days later i went to check in my pantry and the bag was full of bugs. upon doing a google pic search I found that it was bean weevel big and it was inside the bag of red beans I got at this place. Never again!

Fresh tortillas and homemade guacamole.

They make tortillas both flour and corn. They had homemade Guacamole. I got the mild. It was very much like a traditional from back in San Diego although I felt it needed a bit more avocado and a touch of cilantro. The tortillas were fresh and warm. Made with corn oil instead of Manteca or lard but still tasty just like home.

Yum just what I was looking for

If you are looking to open that Mexican cook book and try some recipes you will find everything you need here BUT you will pay for it! This place is extremely price gouging! Some items you can't get anywhere else so I buy here. Cotija cheese ($8.50) a salty crumbly white cheese to top many a Mexican dish, Chorizo ($12.00) sausages that I open and cook as a mixture to add into egg chilequiles, and as a side to hueuvos rancheros. Note the $5 chorizo is not right, it's super greasy when heated up on the stove. It's meant to be dryer, salty, spicy. A great add in homemade adult macaroni and cheese too. Mmmmm. The back of the store aluminum garbage bins contain all the dried chilis you may need for mole or your own saucey concoctions. I especially love the bug candy! I love to give it as gag gifts! So would you like red, blue, or green hard lollys with a special surprise of cricket, worms, or scorpion! Haha. Pinatas adorn the ceilings and you can watch them make the tortillas from scratch. It's such a festive atmosphere that makes me miss my familia south of the border!

This place is the go-to grocery store in the strip for everything Mexican. All the tortillas are homemade and created right in front of you. The shelf in the back has the freshest selection of tortillas, the ones we grabbed were still warm! They have great guacamole and an assortment of salsas and queso toward the front of the store, they even have some samples out if you're having trouble deciding between flavors. If you want to channel your inner chef, they have every fresh pepper you can think of and dried peppers in barrels to add some spice to any dish you're making. And if after all that shopping in the Strip District gets you hungry, they have a taco stand out front for authentic street tacos before going to your next store.

Not only is Reyna's market great, full of all kinds of dried peppers, cured meats, cheese etc... They have the most amazing taco cart out front. The line was crazy long but totally worth it. Next time I'm in town this is a must stop!

While flavor is fine, it's the same size you can buy at Chipotle for $3. Then, the queso fundido is bad. The queso isn't really melted, the flavor is missing, and they don't give tortillas to eat it with, just tortilla chips. For $14, this is really bad. The chips and salsa is again bad. The chips are so stale which is disappointing. Don't get the fajitas. I got the "mix 3" and ordered chicken and shrimp. There were 5 pieces of shrimp and a few measly, dry pieces of chicken. At $22, fajitas should also come with tortillas. But again, no tortillas are provided. Quite disappointing. Churros are decent and the chocolate ice cream is actually tasty (definitely store bought). Avoid this restaurant if you don't want to be scammed and left disappointed in the entire experience.

Happy Hour drinks: Tocayo Margarita $8 (delicious) Ranch Water $8 (Hubby liked this, not I) Loud, festive music playing overhead. Tables in the middle, booths along the walls. Pretty decor on the walls.

We love this placeeee!!!…read more They have a sister restaurant in Shadyside.. Tocayo... but Totopo is sooo much bigger. Right on the Main Street of Mt. Lebanon, we have been here a handful of times. The restaurant has won countless awards through the years and they deserve it. Right from the jump, you can see the modern and thematic choices that transport you into an ambiance worth the dining experience already. The staff is great, always attentive, and the wait staff constantly will check in on you. This trip, we had earned some rewards (they have an awesome reward program... who doesn't like free food) so we just wanted a quick bite. It was happy hour on apps, so we just got the Carnitas Nachos and Queso. They always give chips and salsa... which is soooo good. We almost ordered the table side fresh made guacamole but the nachos came with guacamole. Let's just say two apps... STUFFEEEEDDDD us. Everything was so good. The carnitas had a wonderful smoky taste and was so juicy. Everything was fresh made. We ate and left happy for only $3.

The chips and salsa are a great start but the meals were even better! My husband ordered two sets of two tacos...not great! He did not need both sides of rice and beans but didn't realize they would bring out one for each order. I picked a combo dinner and both of my picks were delicious. We would love to go back and try even more items from the menu.

Friendly family type ambiance and it feels good to know you are supporting a small business like this. At $4 a taco, when they are generous with the authentic meat filling, double up on the freshly grilled corn tortillas, and allow unlimited toppings made fresh daily make these tacos one of the best deals around. The filling is already super flavorful, so you don't necessarily need extra toppings, but I like adding extra onions and cilantro. For me, a lot of the salsas were extra spicy, so my recommendation is to taste them before putting them on the taco. The ones I got honestly didn't need any extra added flavor. I got the steak and onions and the pork with pineapple and loved them both equally. I got them last week and already miss them - the smell and texture of the meat, the fresh toppings, how your breath tastes after, the combo of everything together - definitely a solid taco joint
