    Loaded Tots

Had lunch on Sunday. Arrived 12:50pm, not busy. Sat outside. Waited for our waitress. Other waitress got our drink and food orders. The loaded tots were good. 7 pieces though for 4 people. Then it was the waiting game. Took forever to get our ordered drinks and mains. Got the arugula salad with salmon. Overdressed greens; they were soggy. I was excited to see grilled beets on the menu, but only got a few pieces of small diced beets. My kid got the sliders and she enjoyed them as they were juicy. The crispy chicken sandwich was interesting as the chicken looked like ground meat patties, but mot description on the menu; was expecting whole breast. Our waitress didn't start us off with water, was absent in taking our orders and provided slow service.

This was my first visit to The Office. It was a chill Saturday afternoon, and there was only one server taking care of the room so service was a bit slow. The manager was making her rounds and checked on us a few times, which I appreciated. There isn't anything particularly special about this spot but it's a nice place to grab a drink and an appetizer. It doesn't shine amidst other Downtown Summit spots and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Decent place to come for lunch although I can't recommend the soups as they were insanely salty. As a person who consistently has a salt addiction - that's saying something! Goes for my friend's chowder as well as the 5 onion soup. The sweet potato fries are good and the beer list is long if that's your thing. I'll warn that parking is a nightmare so give yourself time to plan for that if you're on a time crunch!

Located in Summit, they focus on North Carolina favorites and a mix of Americana food. A good beer selection, over 35 choices including local brews. The Thai glazed cod was disappointing. Battered and deep fried, but soggy when it was out. The underlying noodle salad had a bitter flavor from I think the veggies which put me off eating them. The BBQ wings as an appetizer are good though, people liked those and the hummus. Don't know what appetizer mix was good for the table. Service was good, friendly and frequent check ins. One thing I don't get, they have the beer and dessert on an ipad, why not just include your menu instead of forcing people to scan a QR code on the table? I get that you're trying to keep from handing out too many iPads, but it seems really inconvenient to whip out my phone and pass around if others don't have their phone.

I met up with some friends and we had a really good experience. Our reaches regularly checked on us and the meal was very tasty. We started with the Couldn't Decide appetizer. The dipping sauces were a perfect trio to choose from. I also had the crispy chicken sandwich, which was not bad. I wasn't a big fan of the cheese, but it got the job done.

Started off with the lavender muck tail. Refreshing and delish! Bartenders super friendly and attentive! I had 2 of the specials, crab fritters and salmon flat bread! Way too much for one person, but again so tasty and fresh! Highly recommend!

Tried this restaurant again for dinner with family visiting from out of town. I honestly wouldn't recommend with a large group because it's hit or miss and some people weren't satisfied with their meals. Last night ordered salmon entree, cod with noodles, quinoa bowl with salmon instead of chicken, arugula salad and a burger. They are very accommodating with the menu and it was no big deal to order the quinoa bowl with salmon instead of chicken. We ordered a regular burger but it came with cheese. The cod was over cooked and rubbery, borderline inedible. The drinks were good. Service is good. Our server was very attentive but didn't see them once our meals were served. Someone else brought us the check. There is a manager that walks around and checks on guests but she came and asked how everything is but we were still waiting for our entrees. I like that they walk around to check on guests but there is a huge disconnect.

The wings and the salad were a great option, bartender had a bit of a 'tude but she's working all day so I feel her.

Anyone know where I can see their brunch menu? I can see hours but I cant find the actual brunch menu. Thanks.

Specifically, their cold brew which is extremely smooth and strong, and in my opinion you don't even need to put anything in it unless you really want something sweet, although why would you get a cold brew if that's the case lol. Also packs quite a bit of caffeine so you'll be good for the rest of the day. Their pastries are pretty solid as well, although a bit on the pricier side. The cafe itself is on the smaller side but still an ample amount of seating. It's excellent for meeting with a friend, however the tables are rather small so it is less study friendly unless you manage to snag one of the bigger tables by the entrance. Which is admittedly pretty tough to do unless you get here right when it opens or catch a lucky break when someone leaves - I speak from experience. That said, it's overall a pretty solid spot to get work done. Parking in downtown Summit is a pain in general, I usually just park in the lot and walk over. Limit is at 5 hours and you will have to walk back if you want to extend it. There might be parking available by the cafe, but I'm personally less confident on how long you can to stay before getting ticketed/booted, so do so at your own risk.
